This is the worst BBQ I have ever had. The turkey looked like some sort of processed meat slab and the sausage had similar features. Brisket was dry and chicken was ok. Sides were ok. Won’t be back.

I ordered a chopped beef sandwich with extra pickles and a side of dirty rice since that was a special for the day. I asked the lady what kind of rice it was & she said «like dirty rice with the black & green things in it». Uhh ma’am, please get your WHOLE life. Sandwich was ok, rice was unflavored, garbage and greasy. Probably won’t be back.

Tried this place while in Houston this past Friday.
The brisket was terrible, it looked like it was cooked then frozen and was bland like cardboard.
The ribs were skinny, salty, and overcooked. Onion rings were okay, and the baked potato was actually really good. The guy at the register was really friendly but I would NEVER go back. Sorry friend, I don’t know what you’re making there but it is NOT bbq.

The positives are that the food is good and so is the portion size. Baked potatoes are really good and they are a nice size. The negative is that they cannot get your order right the first time. We like to use the drive through and they are so busy talking over you while you are trying to order that it takes will power not to just drive off. Then you get home only to discover the order is wrong. This has happened to us several times. Not sure we will go back. If we do, we will not use the drive through and we will check the order prior to leaving the establishment.

Love this place!!! i always go for their baked potatoes! theyre always fresh and they’re huge! the staff is always very nice and the food always comes out fast!

I remember when this place used to be the spot for good BBQ in the Cypress area. But, it’s been a few years so I guess things have definitely changed since then.
My mom usually drops off a slab of meat ranging from ribs, steaks, huge beef, and just whatever can be smoked and seasoned. I think that’s usually why my mom continues to go to this place, since it’s the closest. They accept big slabs of meat to be cooked and prices depend on weight.
I came in around 2:30 to pick up our dropped off meat and literally no customers. Literally nonexistent. Sad. The owner of the place is an old Korean lady and about 4 – 5 workers.
Upon walking in, you get a big whiff of barbeque smoke, but unlike the other reviews I didn’t feel like it would make me smell like BBQ. When walking up to the counter to pay, I look to my left and it looked like the sides were old looking. It just looks like it’s been sitting there for hours and that’s probably because no one has came in at all.
The interior is a bunch of western style tables, with country music. It’s just empty.
So the thing is, I’ve never stayed to eat. I’ve always dropped off meat to be cooked and then picked it up the next day. As far as that goes, my review pretty much will revolve around that.
After coming home with our cooked meat, I will say that the meat was actually really tender. We brought 2 large racks of ribs and paid and $ 14.81. The meat came off the bone so easily. As for the BBQ sauce, I do agree another reviewer that the sauce is a little thinner than most, yet still good.
I honestly would go to another place for great BBQ. 3 stars for Thomas for the decent ribs.

This place is pretty good. Not the best BBQ nor the worst. Clean inside and very spacious, not noisy, and the food comes out hot and quick. Nice place to go for a quick lunch or nice dinner.

This place is delicious and the staff and owner always appreciate every one of there clients

Not the best nor the worst, I’ve tasted better for the same price but the service is pretty quick. I went ahead and ordered a chop beef potato with everything hoping, that it would be good. It came out quick, hot but had more cheese than potato or meat, also to much bbq sauce for my liking. Place is ran with one older Korean lady and five workers, in a midsized old western styled unfinished dinning room playing music from small stereo from behind the counter. One big negative impact for me is that as soon as you walk in you are hit in the face with smoke. Not to sure if they have proper ventilation here but it gave me a headache sitting and trying to eat my food. For what it’s worth, I won’t be coming back anytime soon. I feel like going back to work smelling like I just stepped out of a smoking bbq pit, is not my ideal candidate for lunch.

Food not good stay away from this place.

HORRIBLE! Nothing was made in-​house. Everything was pre-​purchased frozen and reheated. The burger patties, chicken strips, brisket, sausage, beans, and potato salad were awful. The fries were the only thing edible. I will NEVER GO HERE AGAIN.

The sliced brisket sandwich was REALLY DELICIOUS! I really enjoyed it! Would return!

This is absolutely the WORST BBQ I have ever had. I would not even give it one star. Actually to be honest I would give this a negative star. The sausage was something that I suspect they bought at the grocery store, nuked, and served on a plate. The chicken was undercooked and blood from the marrow was present. If u are mad at someone take them here and force
Feed them the «BBQ.»

Should have been suspicicious when there was only one other couple in there at 6:30 on Saturday evening. Food looked good and there was plenty of it. 3 bites in, my companion requested we leave. I ate a few more bites than he had. Next day was spent in the bathroom. Even 2 days later I am still a bit unsettled… beware. Could have been an isolated incident but I will not return.

Smoke: Don’t know. Don’t matter. Southern Pride gas oven in plain site.
Brisket: Good. Impressive 5/​16in smoke ring. Not bad for gas oven. Tough of tender. Mild smoke flavor but at least it had some. No detectable rub. Use the sauce.
Ribs: Good. Tough of tender. Slight tearing and dirty bone. Overall flavor was «pretty good». Good smoke flavor. No detectable rub. Use the sauce.
Sausage: Poor. One word describes this sausage: BOLOGNA. It was pure pork, grease and salt. No spice flavor. No after taste. I was looking for the Oscar Myer label. Sauce could not even save this stuff. Skip all together.
Sauce: Very Good. Just goes to show, a great sauce can cover up a multitude of sins. Overall flavor was pleasant enough that you could spoon it like soup. It was a vinegar tangy, tomato base, Chile powder spice, with lemon flavors. Don’t get it on the side, drown the whole plate.

This place is a typical Texas BBQ joint minus the Asian owners.
The food was okay, nothing to brag about. Good Texas size portions though!

visiting from Fort Worth, TX decided to try this place. bad choice, sliced brisket was dry, ribs was bland and tough; the chicken and sausage was edible. The sides tasted straight from the can except for the candied yams. I personally do not recommend this place.

I really like their chopped BBQ sandwich. It’s sizable, which helps to explain the somewhat expensive price. That’s my only complaint about this place.

Not an the best sampling of what Texas BBQ has to offer. There are tastier places pretty close by.

Delusions of adequacy. I love good BBQ but Thomas is underwhelming. I should have been suspicious when the lunchtime crowd was almost non existent. Unlikely to return.
