I went to this nursery place few weeks ago to buy plants for my new house. This store really does have a huge variety of plants and flowers and trees but the customer service is still to improve. The employees of this place seem to avoid any contact with customers to answer any questions. When they do they sound reasonable and knowledge but very unpleasant. Great place to shop if you know exactly what you came for. Don’t rely on their advice or help.

Don’t let the look of this place fool you! It’s a beautiful place, however, I am highly disappointed with the quality of goods from this nursery. I bought a succulent from here, took it home and watered it to find the thing was INFESTED with ants. Beware!

A friend of mine enjoy buying mini plants from here and I had the chance to visit the shop with my friend over the weekend. This lovely plant store is right next to Tiny boxwood. Parking is pretty limited. If you have been to Tiny Boxwood, then you’ll know how parking could be a hit or miss around this location. They have really cute mini succulent plants, flowers, trees and more! As other reviews mention, the plants and flowers can be pricey. I love the flower plants here but they require a lot sunlight and care, so I went with the succulent plants that require minimal sunlight. You can buy mini plants for $ 2.50−9.00 which isn’t too expensive. Also, I wouldn’t come here on a rainy day because all the plants are located outside in an uncovered area. To check out, you will go inside and you’ll find a lot of different things inside T&H such as clothing, jewelry, and etc! Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Thompson+Hanson and will most likely purchase more of their mini plants. The mini plants are perfect for the office! It gives the office desk a nice touch. Check this place out if you get the chance!

Lovely and upscale plant store. Lots of great selections with knowledgeable staff! Everything is outside and uncovered, so try not to visit on rainy days. Pricing is a bit more expensive and parking can be limited. Right next to Tiny Boxwoods!

I’ve had the WORST service at this store! I bought an antique mirror which the salesperson said she would hold for a week while I was out of town. When I got back in town, I found it had been sent to storage(without any protective wrap) as nobody knew it was sold! The salesperson was rude and very condescending and the manager wouldn’t make it right by having it delivered to my home(although it had to be delivered from storage to the store anyway). Against my better judgement I ordered 2 preserved topiary balls at the same visit and was told they would take several months to arrive. I called today(3 months later) and was told the order was lost and thus never placed. Although the store has nice things, there are many other stores in Houston. Both of my experiences were horrible!

I got all kinds of cool plants there. And I get so many complements on some color bowls I did for outside of our building. The plants they have are very well taken care of, not like the half dead and never watered ones at Home Depot! When I’ve gone 2 days in a row, it was like half the stuff was different! They’re always re-stocking! Knowledgeable staff answer questions and make suggestions. I got lots of stuff for less than $ 50 on one trip. I also get some good ideas from their displays, which are for sale.

A more upscale(and thus somewhat pricey) plant store. Much of their merchandise is outside in the courtyard area, so I’d avoid going on a rainy day. I have a thing for cacti, and I found some nice choices here. Friendly staff too.
