Finding an honest mechanic is one of life’s greatest struggles. My family had a great guy that we went to for years but he retired. and thus began the struggle all over again.
My friend recommended this place to me and yay, life has balanced out again!
These guys are quick, efficient, and most importantly – honest.
My engine light came on while on the highway and then my car started shaking violently every time I braked. I’ve had my fair share of ghetto cars and shaking steering wheels, but this was something that I never experienced before. Like the entire car was shaking and I was for sure thinking that my car was going to explode; twas scary.
My fiancé and I discussed that if it cost more than $ 500 to repair, then we would just start looking to buy a new car since Ive gotten so many repairs done on this car that it was just starting to add up. I went home and started looking for new cars online thinking that that was the best option.
Got to Swiss Garage right when it opened the next day, got a call 2 hrs later about 4 cylinders and cables broken causing my engine to misfire, got a quote of about $ 290, and then they were done by 3:30pm! I asked the guy to show me the repairs they did (not that I would really know whether they did it right) but the new cables looked good!
Its been a month later now and my car is still running smooth and have had no problems (other places ive been to. the dreaded engine light usually turns on by now).
Will be coming here until they retire! Hopefully they never do!
P. S. They have a bunch of porsches, mercedes, bmws parked outside their garage and when I drove in with my 99 honda crv, I was sure I was gonna get judged hard. But they were super friendly and when I picked up my car later, one of the workers told me he also has a honda and loves it and told me to take good care of it cause hondas can last forever. Glad to know theyre not biased against the oldies!

This is the best auto repair business I have ever used. I switched to them about 15 years ago after several experiences with a dishonest and opportunistic but successful repair shop in the Village, and Swiss Garage has more integrity than anyone. They never perform unnecessary service or overcharge. They are friendly, professional, and do excellent work.

My fiancé and have used Swiss Garage a number of times and have been extremely pleased with their customer service and fair pricing for work completed.
They are also very honest about the repairs needed and don’t try to up-​sale. An example of this was my most recent visit. I smashed my side view mirror and was terrified that the entire component, with electric, would need to be replaced on our Audi. I drove the car over, without an appointment, and they took a look at it immediately. They gave me the best and worse case scenarios. I left the car with them and within the next two hours they let me know that they could salvage all the electrical and just replace the mirror! I was relieved that the repair would be a fraction of what I was anticipating. The team completed the work perfectly and by the date they promised.
We will continue to use Swiss Garage for our car repair needs!

This is hands down the best shop to go to with your car! Not only are these guys honest and do the right thing with your car, they have exceptional customer service! We’ve had some issues with our car getting the proper service at our local dealership, we brought it into Swiss Garage and they corrected the dealership’s mistake and saved us A LOT of money. We live in Sugar Land and believe me, it is well worth the drive. We have had nothing but a positive experience with Swiss Garage!

These guys saved me when a pothole with jagged teeth attacked my car and ate my tire. Even though it’s a more rare tire, they had it in a day (which other places have had to take a week) and went above and beyond to get my car back to me quickly. The people who work there are really nice and prices are reasonable.

Nick, et al, are a great bunch of guys. My wife has been going to them for years for her former German car. She replaced it with a Japanese brand and they still maintain it for her. They have even worked on my car (American V8 muscle). They’re not just good foreign car mechanics. They seem to know every make. Rates and work times are ALWAYS reasonable.

Simply the very best foreign car mechanics in Houston. They are super good guys, they won’t rip you off, and they go out of their way to ensure it is done right the first time. I’ve seen a lot of mechanics with my Porsche, & I will never go to another one now that I met Mike and his team. Good guys, class guys, worth driving to get there.

Hourly rate was 119 for BMWs. They addressed my brake light and service engine light for 61. Fair enough.

These guys do a great job, very honest and reasonable. Mike and Joe will shoot you straight… have used off and on for seven years and have no reservations recommending. Best shop I’ve ever used!

So happy to find these guys. Drove 3.5 hours to get here and totally worth the drive. Dropped the car off right when they opened and waited in the lobby. They had the car fixed and ready in 3 hours and they kept me informed every step of the way.

polite, honest, and quick service.

I have recently started using swiss garage. I was referred by a friend whom had used them for years. I am very happy with the speed and quality of there work.

My family has used the mechanics here for as long as I can remember (over 20 years). I don’t live that close to the Swiss Garage, and I don’t own a European car (anymore), but I go out of my way to get my car worked on here. Honesty and good work with only a small premium. Money well spent.

They are not cheap, but they are quick and very good and very honest.

I LOVE the guys here! I’ve brought both of my cars here at different times and they just put me at ease. As a woman it’s scarey wondering if you’re going to get scammed… NEVER here! Mike, the owner, is professional and kind, and his staff knows exactly what they’re doing. I have other friends that have taken their cars here as well,(Porsche and BMW) and have never been disappointed.
