this apts has put me through immense amounts of bullshit for two years & counting. I’m still a resident because the location and the free electricity, but I pay for it in pain and suffering on a daily basis. roaches basically live with me in my shower & my microwave. there’s absolutely no controlling them. they had no choice after 6 months of complaining to transfer me to a new unit without black mold in the vents & I STILL had to pay a transfer fee. the office has gone under «new management» about 4 times since I’ve been here. so it seems to be their go to excuse for the bullshit. water gets cut off constantly then they blame of the city of houston & send you a $ 70 water bill notice & threat to lock out. no water bill in the mail, but they swear you get them. no one in the office gives a shit no matter how «nice» they seem. maintenance seem to be working on the same «unit» for months. smoking cigs in vacant apartments to the point I can smell them in the vents in my bathroom. inside of my house where I don’t smoke, it smells like an ashtray! you pay for trash water pest control. but yu take your own trash, barely get any water & when yu do it’s cold, and pest control is some half shirt wearing dude who mists a light air freshener in your house every 6 months, enticing all the roach families to come out and visit with you. –_​– I could go on & on for days about this place, but I’m not getting paid for this. just don’t do it. idk why they have 4 stars on this joint. that’s why I had to do a review! because no. save yourself. location & utilities aside, it is NOT worth 800+ rent for a one bedroom. If you see this review again elsewhere, it’s because I am so serious. I’m about to take legal action if possible.

Worst complex ever! Their parking situation is ridiculous. I’ve been assigned several different spots because they continued to double book a spot and just when I think everything is good, my car gets towed. BECAUSE yet again they double booked and the other person towed me. There’s trash all over the complex, the gates are broken, heaters don’t work. The water went out and when we called the office a lady told us it wasn’t her problem. I went into the office and was told by a lady named Julia that there are people who don’t have drinking water, come back another day. RUDE. Also for a WHOLE week before that we didn’t have any hot water. The washer and dryers NEVERRRRR work. Pools are ALWAAAAYS FILTHY. Neighbors are rude and LOUD. Spend a few extra bucks and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. This place SUCKS!!!

Terrible apartment complex. Super sketchy neighbors, roaches everywhere, run down. I currently live here and with the tiny amount of rain we had today my bedroom ceiling is leaking. Trash gets piled up on the ground around to trash cans and will be left there for weeks.

Whole complex is infested with bed bugs and you are responsible for paying for treatment. The bugs just keep going from unit to unit.

Dear Mr. Hargrove,
It is with great disappointment that I write this letter to your attention as well as those that you have included from your organization and Joey regarding your email from 3÷13÷15.
As a resident that has lived at West Point/​Village at Piney Pointe for more than 10 years (twice returning) and referred several residents throughout the years, this by far has been the worst disappointment at West Point. I won’t go over all the concerns that Joey has expressed to your leasing office and Management as they have been covered multiple times, but I think that what you have replied with as a solution is not the best that West Point /​Village at Piney Point can do to help with resolving this situation.
One month of waiving the rent for all the troubles, hardships and inconveniences that your resident is going through and also the neglect of your previous Manager is hardly fair, especially to Joey that has consistently been on time with his rent, although he wasn’t able to fully live in his apartment until the middle of February 2015 (this is when we started looking for furniture for the apartment and actually moving most of Joey’s belongings). Not only was the apartment not ready when promised, but maintenance was really not fixing what needed to be fixed correctly. As you yourself said during our meeting, the apartment should’ve never been rented out until it was ready to move in. I understand that there may be caps on repairs, but Property Management or Maintenance Management not inspecting work performed by a maintenance crew or a make-​ready crew is a sure weakness of your organization.
Joey had requested on several occasions to be moved to another apartment but Rosie was never available to meet with us and your leasing staff kept saying that it wasn’t possible to do that or that Rosie was not approving such request. Joey had expressed the possibility of reasonable accommodations which were supposed to be.
Joey will continue to pay his rent as usual and he will seek advice from those organizations that you mentioned during our meeting with you. We apologize and are sorry that we will not accept the waiver of one month’s rent as it really doesn’t cover the inconvenience, hardship and emotional stress caused not only due to the apartment not being ready, but by your staff to your resident at apartment 555 It is clear that if Property Management and the Maintenance crew would have listened to their resident, the outcome would be different and a happy resident would have been attained.
Furthermore, it should be noted, that not only was Joey affected by this, but I was too as I had to offer a place to stay to Joey while his apartment was getting «fixed,» inconveniencing two residents. I understand it’s a big property and your organization has multiple properties, but I think a little retraining or follow up with residents will go a long way with your organization. Once again thank you for taking the time on this matter.

Worst apartment complex. Rents cheap for a reason!
While my 6 months here there has been a notice on my door about a robbery at the complex, a shooting, and a lovely notice warning they would lock me out of my apartment because I shorted them rent. Which was due to their poor bookkeeping because I had a move in special, and had actually paid the correct amount on the 1^st.
Also most recently I’ve come home to my apartment dirty with a shock top beer bottle cap on the ground. I didn’t place a work order for maintenence, but there was hardware on the ground, the carpet was really dirty, my medicine cabinet was open, and ooh yehh the beer cap. When I asked the leasing office who or why was there someone in my apartment they had no answer. I asked them to followup and ask maintenance who was in here and why, because that’s fucking creepy, and I didn’t hear back from them. Really safe place to live, don’t you think?
So ya know, if you like roaches (there’s also roaches) wanna get stabbed walking home or have someone break in and shoot you, or maybe just want someone from maintenence to randomly enter your apartment while you’re at work and drinking beer with your cat then this is the place for you!

Roaches, run-​down units, and nothing ever gets fixed. Be prepared to wait a month for them to fix your A/​C, or really anything for that matter.

If you want to live in a a rundown apartment, with plenty of crime, and a few murders to be on television. This is the place to be. On top of that maintenance is a no show and when they are its like two clowns thinking about how to change a lightbulb. Do not try and live here.
