I was wandering up Warren Street and happened into 3fortyseven with no intention to do anything except browse, but found a couple of beautiful pieces of outsider art that were exactly what I was looking for. I ended up buying them.
The manager Arthur was incredibly helpful, knew about the pieces and ensured that the items were packaged so that they wouldn’t be damaged in transit.
I had only been in the shop once before over the years, but now I’ll stop in every time I find myself on Warren St. I’m sure I’ll find some other unexpected gem.
