Stopped here on a whim yesterday and brought my boyfriend 24 hours later for round two–(he’s a real coffee snob so the stakes were high). His 5 shot mocha was«correct» and my iced coffee was refreshing! We also love the reading nook in the back.

This is my hometowns favorite coffee shop. Highly recommended over Café 641 and the Creamery downtown. Friendly staff, great coffee, excellent baked goods and very reasonable prices to boot. What’s not to like? They have a wide selection of loose leaf teas(11 varieties at my latest count), a good selection of coffee drinks, bakery goods and even freshly made to order breakfast and lunch sandwiches, salads and soup. Also 8 flavors of ice cream! The atmosphere is very warm and homey, there are almost always some people around but it never feels too crowded.

This place has quickly become one of my local favorites, featuring great coffee and food, as well as a cool atmosphere and plenty of space to work. I’ve never been in during the morning rush, although in the afternoons you can sometimes have the place to yourself. An awesome alternative to Dunks or Honey Dew, plus you get the karma from supporting a local business.

They make the best soy latte around! I haven’t tried the food and I only go in on the weekends but it has always been extremely pleasant. The staff is very friendly!

I really like it here. Great atmosphere and I never feel rushed if I’m just sitting having a cup wanting to read the paper. Keep up the great work!

Good coffee, pastries are always a fine thing, but I had come here for lunch. Very small selection, and the food that all three of us got wasn’t very good(literally, my son didn’t finish his sandwich). Way too much mayonnaise on tunafish, tasteless cheese and bread. Sigh. But comfy places to sit, not too loud, nice atmosphere. This review is three stars for food, five for coffee/tea and pastries.

Best coffee in town. Since I’ve been drinking black coffee I can no longer tolerate DD coffee. The coffee is excellent, as is the service. Their pastries and muffins are fresh. Higher price than DD… but much better.

Great coffee shop — refreshingly not a chain. There are many choices and I have had 4 different types of drinks here even though I usually like to pick one and stick to it at a chain. All were very tasty. Speaking of tasty, the pastries are yummy. I haven’t had a lot of the actual food here, but the two sandwiches I did have were delicious. They prices aren’t outrageous either. Outside seating is also a pretty big plus. The inside is neat and very cozy, with a modern-ish vibe. There is also a fire place! Thought that was awesome. Seriously, how many coffee shops have fire places? Wifi is present, as well as a couple of TVs. I’ve seen people use both but haven’t used them myself so cannot comment.

I wonder why I had NEVER been here since it opened? Its beautiful, clean, bright, free wifi, relaxing. Coffee, pastries, sandwiches, ice cream. Simple. FANTASTIC coffee, good price. I just had coffee and a casual business meeting. Tim and his staff are simply lovely and welcoming. ARRIBAHUDSON!

I stopped in for coffees and breakfast to go. Had I known the pace at which things are prepared, I would have just grabbed a couple of muffins. The breakfast sandwiches were good but nobody behind the counter was in a hurry that morning. I’ll go back because everything tasted good but I’ll probably just eat there!

I went here today and two days ago. Two days ago when I went, I thought this was the best coffee house in the area. The coffee I had today defiantly changed my mind. The coffee tasted very bad, almost like mint was put into it, which I did not ask for. My brother thought the same, the coffee was not good. I am giving it four stars because the other did I did in fact have the best coffee I have ever had, so I could not give it a bad rating for my one time here today. I think that I will try again, but I will be more cautious.

It’s a neat coffee shop with some so-so coffee, free wifi, so-so sandwiches. Staff are friendly and nice. It’s decently quiet to read or get some work on laptop done. I live in the area and its the closest one to me, so it works. If u r coming only for coffee, then Dunkin is better.

I don’t even know where to begin. I had been going to this wana-be-Starbucks coffee shop for about 6 months 2⁄3 times a week on the regular. Here are the positives *Free WiFi *comfortable seating Here is the bad and the worse If you become a regular, you get the old and stale bread. You must ask for the new ones. Only 1 of the barista actually knows how to make a latte. Regular coffee taste like they forgot to wash out the soap; I can’t count how many times I got the first cup(or the last; that could be worse) and the aroma is not of natural coffee, more like perfume aka soap. The barista’s attitude makes you feel like your invading their home. I know they are foreign, this tends to be a Portugal/Brazilian town, these people are always welcoming and are always happy and smiling, very warm and welcoming, unlike Ariba coffee baristas(not all of them but definitely the younger one) The food is mediocre considering its Sysco frozen food. Stale and day old bakery abounds. If you ask for a remake(either because latte has not been steamed properly or has excess foam) you will be asked what’s wrong with your coffee. And you will feel like your being rude for daring to ask. But it gets better, you will ‘told on’ and the other barista will come ask you what was wrong with your latte, you will explain a third ime, your new latte will be brought to you by the owner and he will ask you what was wrong with your latte! Incredible! I don’t think I’d want to make it public that if you don’t steam milk hot enough I will get an upset stomach and possibly spend my day on the toilet. I also don’t want extra foam on a large latte, I’m paying more for more, right? Plus, the foam gives me gas. STARBUCKS gets it right. No foam — 145 degree — not extra milk to water down the foam. Anyways, to say the least, I stopped going cuz I had enough. Now I go to Café 641 just a couple block away. P.s. If you tip well, the barista will bring the food to your table, if not, you’ll have to keep your ear out to hear your order being yelled for all the other customers to hear, lol.

For the area, this is the best coffee shop. I am closer to a couple of starbucks, dunkins, and Coffee Loft, but it is worth the drive to come here. They have good drip coffee(that’s all I usually get at most coffee shops) and really nice breakfast food. I love the waffles with strawberries, bananas, whipped cream, and chocolate and maples syrup! Definitely ruining my diet, but again, worth it :) I paid around $ 7.50(with tax) for the largest size coffee and the above waffle, so the prices are definitely reasonable. The family-owners are very very nice and always have a smile. The seating area is bigger than it appears in some of the photos, with seating for I’d say 30 people. There’s a mix of comfy armchairs and tables, some nice plants and lamps, a fireplace(off, but I’ve only been in the summer), and a few outlets for charging devices and free Wi-Fi. The patrons are a mix of local families and single people catching up on work or reading. My only complaint is that they don’t have long enough hours on weeknights, but maybe if we can grow the customer base enough they’ll be able to justify it.

Great service in this little place! Went here with my wife finally after being in the area for awhile. The two ladies who helped us were very nice and very helpful, they certainly allowed us to make a few variations to the menu no problem.(if you haven’t noticed I’m big on service even more so then the food sometimes… Someone please just be a nice decent person and present me with at least average food and I’m happy) And that’s what ariba was solid food, nothing crazy but good. Coffee was solid and my wife enjoyed her tea. The tea was loose and you can smell a few of the samples which is a nice touch. I can’t speak to the rest of the menu but I would definitely recommend at least trying Ariba. Very comfy indoor area and nice outdoor seating as well.

Best coffee shop we’ve found after four years in Metrowest. We drive 8 miles just to visit. Great atmosphere, excellent service, and a very high quality of coffee, ice cream and espresso drinks. They allow you to work, plenty of outlets, free wifi, and perfect reading nooks. Highly recommended.

I really wish I had had more time to get one of the delicious waffle and ice cream treats from Ariba as those looked fantastic– alas, I just had time for a snack and a coffee. I liked the décor and thought it was awesome that they offer free use of two computers to their customers. The woman who waited on us was pleasant. I selected a lemon bar from their baked goodies display and it was delicious. Unfortunately, the coffee was horrible. I rarely get coffees that use syrups but the white chocolate iced latte sounded so good that I ordered it. Whoever made it used way too much syrup. It went from overly sweet to just gross and almost bitter after I shook it up in the car. I think I had five sips of it and my friend had two before we threw it away. Prices were great, and as I said, I wish I had more time to try some of their other items but I’m not sure I’d buy coffee from them again.

Missing a little of the warmth and coziness I’d like a local coffee shop to have. Also, although as a previous reviewer said the tea is loose and good, the selection is fairly limited. They are sort of an everything kind of place… they have ice cream and sandwiches. It’s more of a lunch café that offers coffee and tea than a real coffee house. Worth visiting, I’d say, if you live near by, but I wouldn’t drive across several towns for it. Also, on a fairly unrelated note, the letters on the outside of the building look much too much like Starbucks’ lettering.
