Stopped in here for breakfast yesterday. I had a breakfast burrito and it was amazing. You can just taste the passion and love in every bite. When ever I’m in the area this will be my first stop.

Salads are full of mustard seed and vinegar. Didn’t like them at all. Sandwich was good but prices high.

I really adore Relish. Its my favorite place in Hudson and i think the food is delicious and thoughtful. Simple, fresh and classic with a homegrown taste. I go there any chance i get to be in hudson and you should too.

Only the best breakfast and lunch place ever, food is imaginative, tastes great and is served up fresh AND fast which oftimes is pretty impossible to do. We stop in every time we visit friends in Hudson, staff are approachable, easy to chat with, they know the town and can keep you on the right track with recommendations for keeping your visit lively and fun. Love, love, love Relish!!!

Very rude service. In every way. My food didn’t come as ordered, I didn’t mention it, but received the worst, abrupt, inconsiderate and unaccommodating service ever. Super bummer experience.

Likely the most talented short order cook for at least 50 miles in any direction. A vital Hudson institution as it is directly across from the train station. Walk out the door with your delicious breakfast sandwich and coffee and be on the train 20 seconds later.

Stopped in today for a sandwich and iced tea. Sandwich was QUICK… and DELICIOUS! Very fresh! Came with a side potato salad which was also delicious! Prices are fair. Will definitely stop in again. Only open weekdays!

Relish is a cute little café located just across the road from the Amtrak station. I ventured in here on Monday at 6:50am in search of sustenance for my journey back to NYC. There was an impressive array of cutely named breakfast sandwiches available with flexible substitutions for vegetarians, vegans, gluten free etc. They also offer bowls, soups, salads and other healthy options. The two ladies working gave quick, friendly service and were in sync with getting food out before the train arrived. I grabbed the ‘Amtrak’ egg and cheese with the kale and tomato option… delicious! The Columbian blend coffee wasn’t too shabby either. It became clear this place is a local thing given the number of people(who the staff knew by name) calling to order their breakfast in advance of their train rides. I was impressed with this find in such a small, sleepy place. Sure beats Amtrak’s dining cart!

Just a quick note; the chef doesn’t give anyone grief. She is an amazing welcoming person who has been in business for 3 years at this location because she keeps people coming back! Some of her customers are there EVERY single day! The reason is because the food is delicious and her personality is awesome. If you see it any other way it is all in your perception and not factual which in turn is on you.
It’s difficult to fault the fresh, well prepared, efficiency of this charming little place opposite Hudson station. It’s the closest Hudson has to a diner and thank god it’s here because where else would one get a well priced breakfast? The place is clean, bright and everything prepared before your eyes by the cook owner. Sit inside or outside, both are very pleasant. I’ve given this place 4 stars for a reason, it’s GREAT.

Every time I’ve been here the food was outstanding. The prices are fair and the owner, Dana, is welcoming and friendly. You can tell she takes pride in what she does by the quality of her food. I find myself craving her chicken salad. I recommend Relish to anyone looking for high quality food with a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Okay. Not great. Here’s why: turkey roll in sandwich, not real turkey. I got my head chewed off for asking that my bacon be cooked past flagid fatty(yuck). Also got an earful for wanting my English muffin toasted. As in: light brown on top, which is the whole point of English muffins with those nice points to get crispy. Sorry, not paying for abuse. Cascades sells sandwiches at least as good. And no surly cook.

A great find! Yummy, satisfying food and many gluten free options. Easy ambiance with plenty of daylight, and never so crowded that I can’t find a seat. The chef is hard working and experienced; the food arrives cheerfully and quickly so you can have a quick lunch and be on your way. My go-to is the egg salad and bacon sandwich, on GF toast, with a side of potato salad. My husband’s working his way through the menu, and he loves everything. Make this place your default choice for a weekday lunch in Hudson.

A great breakfast and/or lunch place for everyone! We two carnivores brought two visiting vegans here and everyone had a filling and delicious meal.

Located across from the Amtrak station you will find good sandwiches. I thought I was in Italy where you can find great sandwiches near every train depot. However, I was in Hudson, NY and not in Europe. I happened to stop in for lunch the last two trips to Hudson. I was really amazed that such a lovely and delicious restaurant has popped up on my radar. I’ve heard great things from friends who have had Relish cater their events. We had the perfect BLT on multigrain bread, good aioli, and crispy lettuce. We also ordered a curry chicken salad sandwich, and a really good pesto chicken sandwich. If you like good handmade sandwiches, soups, and other tasty items, then you will be happy to eat here for breakfast or lunch.

The food is great, no doubt about it. The service however is a completely different story. Unfortunately, on numerous occasions, my friend and I have received countless eye-rolls, rude comments, and overall snottiness(for a lack of better words) from the woman in the kitchen. More than once, have we had her blatantly make fun of an order that we’ve placed, which we’ve overheard as we were still standing at the counter. We frequent this establishment when taking the train from Hudson to the city for work(which is at least twice a month). However, today was the last straw. Good food, we will miss you… Unnecessary snide comments and remarks, we will not.
