I took my son to this place today, I was told that no appointments were needed. Got him signed in, ended up waiting 45 minutes and I decided to leave. Five people who came in after us got to go right back. The employees never even acknowledged that we were still waiting, not one single word to us for 45 minutes after we signed in. Also, this place is not very kid friendly. My son who is 18 months old was able(if we let him) to wander the entire store with nothing to keep him entertained. One would think that for a place that is specifically designed for children that there would be something interactive for kids to do while they waited. So recap, 1) terrible customer service 2) not kid friendly 3) place was pretty filthy inside. Will never attempt to go there again.

This damn place is freaking horrible! How the hell do these people get a license to cut hair? I will NEVEREVER take my sons to this place again. This place isn’t worth the damn real estate it’s built on.

We have been taking our kids here a long time and have always been pleased, but nothing compares to the positive experience we had this week. Our 21 month old son has been WAY over due for his first haircut, but we had been putting it off because he is a bit, lets just say WILD. He doesn’t like to sit still for any length of time and tends to scream at the top of his lungs when you try to contain him. The stylist at Snip-Its was an absolute pro. She put him at ease immediately. She let him touch and feel the clippers«tickle» his hands and belly before they went anywhere near his head. To our complete shock, he sat still for the entire haircut without making a peep. I can’t thank them enough for the wonderful job.

My daughter got her first haircut at Snip-its and it was a great experience. Expect a bit of a wait but when your time comes it’s a great experience. Melissa, the stylist, was great with my daughter and kept her engaged and excited the whole time. I would recommend this location and Melissa to anyone looking for a first kids haircut. Very pleased and will be back again.

Made an appointment over a week ago for Saturday 2−7−15. At first I was told«we do not take appointments, Walk in only» then after I explained that I wanted the full package for my 7 year old(Hair cut, Style, makeup, nails) for a community Daddy Daughter Date Night Dance she said«Oh well i can take an appointment for that». I made the appointment for 4:30, Arrived at 4:25 to a salon full of children. Apparently they do birthday parties. Wasnt taken in until after 5:00 as we had to wait for the«Fashion Show» that took place in the main salon area. At this point my daughter is not feeling as SPECIAL as i had intended as we were an afterthought to the birthday party. We then get the hair cut and style done but were unable to go to makeup and nail area due to the fact that the birthday party had now moved onto opening presents and that was taking up the nail/makeup station. My daughter who was supposed to be the center of attenttion was sat BEHIND a makeshift couch area where parents were taking pictures as presents were opened. I was not even able to get in there to properly take pictures. I was VERY dissappointed in this visit. And to top it off I was so aggriveted by the ordeal that I forgot to use a coupon i had had. Not sure i will ever return to this location. there must be something out there that will treat EVERY customer better than how we felt treated. On a side note — Kate B.( )seems to be the only fool that doesn’t grasp the concept of a «Bar»

Our 6 year old hates getting his hair cut, but not at SnipIts. He was delighted with the atmosphere: very kid friendly, colorful, bright, inviting, perfect kid sized seats and lots of distractions. The SnipIts team logs all your info in their computer and searches it by phone number, easy way to remember what your«usual» is. They keep the boys haircut packages basic enough… regular cut, trim off the ears or buzz cut. It’s easy to articulate what you want as they keep it quite simple. The kids were glued to the video playing that they didn’t even realize they were finished, a great distraction. They have plenty of decent smelling product. There was no wait when we walked in, but we were shocked to find they’re closed on Tuesdays, other than back to school season. Price is ridiculously high, $ 15.99(Aug 2011), but the convenience of the children actually wanting a haircut made it almost worth it.
