I have eaten here a few times now and until my most recent visit, I have found it to be a mid level tasting Chinese restaurant. Not great, but not terrible. Unfortunately, the last time I ate here, it was the worst tasting food I have ever eaten and I mean that on a scale of only places and entrees I have tried before and known to like. I ordered orange chicken, fried rice and shrimp spring rolls. To my surprise, the spring rolls were deep fried and the rolling job was awful. They were practically empty with two shrimps and a piece of some kind of green soggy/mush veggie that was very bitter. The fried rice was as dark as I have ever seen it to be and tasted old. The orange chicken was hard(and not fried hard, just hard) and the sauce was very thick and jello like. It was ready within 5 minutes and cost me $ 17. I was quite surprised with how quick it was. I have never received Chinese food so fast. I am usually not a picky eater when it comes to a dish I know I enjoy, but this was disgusting. I had two bites and threw it all away. I’m posting the pictures of it. I will never go back, and will certainly not recommend.

Ordered delivery and when I opened the first box, fried crab puffs, there was also a fried cockroach in the food. I called the business and told them what happened and then they put me on hold for a long time. When they came back on I told them I was coming in. When I walked in, they took the food and offered no apologies. The older Asian man opened the box, saw the roach and LAUGHED! He took it to the back and you heard others laugh. There was no apologies! They handed my receipt back to me and I had to double check myself they were giving me a refund as they acted like I was not there! Never going back again!

I came to review this restaurant to warn yall to NEVERGETTHETWICECOOKEDPORK. It’s basically Big globs of fat and a whole bunch of half-cooked cabbage in brown sauce. It was the worst cooked meal I’ve ever had. I picked it because I’ve never had it. I googled it and I get that the concept is pork belly… I’ve had amazing pork belly. I’ve been to Sichuan restaurants and have had things like«dong po pork» which are absolutely amazing. Instead what you get is poor quality pork belly in that there is no meat and all fat. I was so disappointed that they’d even let this leave their restaurant and serve it to an unsuspecting customer. :(it cost me $ 8 and i couldn’t finish it. i won’t be able to buy another meal because I’m on a tight budget. They need to take it off the menu completely or revise the recipe. It’s so shitty. Not only that, but the manager(the Chinese lady) was so short with me – definitely not suited for customer service. Overall, a bad experience.

Charged me $ 2.00 dollars for a side of jalapeños! Come on people, I paid less for the fountain drinks. Food is good, waitstaff just doing there job nothing fabulous about them. Restaurant is clean and lighted up pretty good. Next time I’ll bring my own jalapeños from the grocery story that would cost me less then $ 2.00!!!

The manager is not a professional or even mature. We complained about our order being wrong and she made fun of my wife. The Mongolian beef was very watery and did. not taste good. The fried rice tasted very salty.

Finally finally I find a good Chinese place. This will be my number one. Friendly staff and clean place. Had takeout. Steamed veggies with chicken and brown sauce. Perfect. Fresh cut steamed veggies, tender chicken and the brown sauce was the best I’ve ever had. Also, you get lots of food. Rice fluffy.

For our Chinese fix, we always go to Grand Garden. My family loves their Lo Mein and I personally enjoy the Crispy Noodles. We’ve only had the Egg Drop and Wonton soups from their soup selection which were good as well. For a place in the greater Humble/Kingwood/Atascocita area, this place is delicious! They also do deliveries and to-go orders. We’ve only had it delivered once which did not disappoint, however you need to reach a certain monetary amount to have it delivered.

We always order food from this place. Their delivery time is always short. Their food is always very hot and delicious! I recommend beef Lo Mein, and beef and broccoli.

I’ve been ordering delivery from them for almost 3 years. The food is the standard Chinese food. They give a great amount of food for the price and their delivery is quick. My go to local Chinese.

Been awhile spence wine have been back because a couple years ago it sucked. Not this time. Had general too and Kung pow delight. Really good this time. This was a delivery. We were totally surprised how fast the order made it to the door. The food was very hot and fresh. We will be going back. I would have given a five star, but the egg rolls were a little off. I like more cabbage and they were a little bland. All in all, this was a great meal.

If you’re looking for a Chinese fix in Humble area, Grand Garden can fulfill your need. From the looks of the other reviews it’s a hit or miss, and my experience was a hit! It’s a smaller restaurant but can accommodate groups. So what to order? The fried crab puffs are good starters for the table, it comes in a generous size and very tasty. Chicken with black mushroom, general tsao chicken, eggplant, sweet and sour chicken, and the dragon chicken are delicious entrees all around. My favorite is the chicken with black mushroom and the sauce for the eggplant dish. All came with a bowl of rice. The group made the mistake of ordering a plate each, but the portions are big enough to share as family style, so if you go with a group, you can order a couple of dishes and you’re set for the table. The cook was Asian ;)

The food here was average. Everything was hot and fresh but nothing outstanding. We ordered the crab puffs which were oddly sweet. The lo mien was good and the egg rolls were my favorite. Pepper steak was loaded with peppers which limited the amount of steak in the dish. Overall everything was fair, but will probably not go back. Just trying a new option in the area.

I have dined twice at this place. It is never busy and the service is quick and easy. Portions are big and the place is clean. If you are a uptight, snobby type of human, you may not like the dining experience. Aside from my two dining experiences, I always pick up(never had it delivered). The longest wait time they have ever given over the phone is 10 minutes(usually they say 5). It doesn’t really matter because it is always ready by the time I get there. The chicken fried rice is my favorite. The egg foo young is another favorite. Again, they don’t skimp. You get plenty of food for the money. Never had any problems with undercooked food or foreign objects or anything like that. Place is legit.

This was The Worst restaurant in the area. We ordered egg drop soup, fried and steamed dumplings, L3 special, pork roll. The soup was too thick, and yet chicken broth-smell heavy. The dumplings must have been frozen, because the dough wasn’t fully cooked in the center. The fried rice tasted like it had been sitting out for two days or cooked in days old oil. The roll was over cooked, and flavors a mess-mushy. Was So disappointing, never go there again. Manager wouldn’t even come out, waitress was a sweetheart.

House sitting for my Aunt in Eagle Springs and she left me the menu so rather than venture out and have to put on acceptable clothes instead of PJ’s I called this gem for delivery. I ordered the Shrimp Lo Mein and Crab Puffs. They told me it would be about 30 – 45 minutes but they got here in 20 minutes! Lo Mein was piping hot, flavorful, and had large perfectly cooked shrimp. Sometimes the shrimp are overcooked and just taste like those little wax bottles you’d thought it would be fun to chew on as a kid but these were juicy and flavorful. Lots of veggies also in the Lo Mein which added a nice crunch as well. The Crab Puffs were pretty good as well but I prefer my filling to be less sweet and not as runny but still were better than I’ve had at some other places around here. All in all, good delivery chinese for the area and I’m glad I don’t live in their proximity full time.

We’re on a quest to find good Chinese food in the Humble/Atascocita area and this was the most recent. Have to say it falls to the bottom of the list. Should have been suspicious when there was nobody in the restaurant at 5:30 on Saturday. We tried sweet and sour shrimp — it had so much breading it was like a corn dog. So most of that dish was just thrown away. And we don’t waste food. The won ton soup was pretty good and probably my favorite item. We got the most bang for our buck from the shimp lo mein. We had it for lunch the next day. Soft shrimp spring rolls were fine. Shrimp were cut in half and most of the filling seemed to be iceberg lettuce. Crab puffs were also fine — sweet cream cheese filling and a bit of crab. The cashier was quite pleasant and the restaurant was clean. Just wish we had enjoyed the food more.

Easy dinner for me! In my four years of living in Humble, this is my first time eating Chinese in the area! I ordered the Pineapple Chicken with fried rice, very good! I must say this makes me happy to have a good Chinese restaurant nearby! Also had a crispy spring roll, love those, has only veggies! My weird child had steamed rice only. lol, and enjoyed it very much! The service was super nice and they had our food out so fast!
