At drive thru placing order for the dozen breakfast tacos. Not busy, no line but the girl warns us «there’s a ten minute wait». «Okay» and we start to repeat the order but she cuts us off«there are two dozen orders ahead of you.» Again we tell her«that’s okay, we can wait». And she SIGHS! Over the intercom, she sighs?! My husband asks«uh, ma’am?» She answers«just a second» O. o? We changed our mind about breakfast here all together. Rude service will lose your business! I’m really disappointed! My cabana sampler ended up being a taco and a flauta. Nothing else! No beans, rice guacamole or cheese enchilada. My sons food, chicken fajitas taco, had everything. Which made our 30 minute drive home even more frustrating-cause he had food and I had part of a meal! Look, it’s tough to find good help but hold standards as an owner. No wonder the place was not busy.

Nasty. Food is gross, service is terrible and inside is disgusting. Wouldn’t go here under any circumstance.

I ordered the Street Tacos, but when I got down the road and ready to eat them, I noticed that they did not resemble to photo on the menu. They did not have cilantro on them, as expected. On top of that, I asked for the hottest salsa they had and the guy at the window suggested and gave me two containers of «fuego,» but the containers were not even ¼ filled. They looked as if someone had stuck their thumb in the middle of the container and only left the salsa around the side. Sheesh! On top of that, there were no napkins in the bag! I suppose I have to ask for the things that other establishments just give by default. Oh, well…

Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. Please don’t review this business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you’re connected in any way to the owner or employees. My wife and I eat here often on fri sat or sun mornings. I guess some one new has taken it over. The paint and little order # stands didn’t help them. When you order just look in the kitchen and ask yourself, do I really want to eat here. Iwondered who the cars belonged to along the curb when my wife and I were the only ones left inside. I guess it was the workers especially the black caddie backed in at the front door where I could have parked so i didn’t have to walk so far with my bad leg and back. I’m disabled and it won’t happen again to us. I guess we’ll try taco bells breakfast from now on!

We have not been to the location in a long time. The food is okay, the service is the same.

Im soo glad we went back here. The Brisket Tacos are really exceptionally good. We eat them all the time. This Taco Cabana has also been very fast and efficient and the emoyees have been extra helpful. Great Service!!!

This place is neglected and dirty. The tables were never cleaned. The condiment area was littered with trash. There was some weird leak on the floor that looked like it might have been mopped. The food was mediocre at best. All I can think of is just how dirty the kitchen is.

This place is so poorly managed. The workers are more concerned about having loud disagreements with each other than getting your food out. Then you wait 15 minutes for the worst/small breakfast ever made.

We should have listen to Shelly L. It was horrible. We ordered than noticed there was no where to sit because all the tables were dirty. Next they didn’t have sweet or unsweetened tea. The salsa bar was horrible. The regular red salsa was bad. I mean it went bad maybe 2 days before they put it on the bar. That’s how horrible it was. Plus there were only 3 people working on a busy Friday night. Poor assistant manager looked very stressed out. My husband and I just asked for a refund and ran from that place. Will never go back!

Im a chef and from time to time me and my wife dont want to cook at home. This is one of our favorite spots to go to. Sometimes wait is a bit long but you can expect that from this kind of establishment. Food taste is always consistent which i love. Me and the wife always get the mixed fajitas with a side of large queso with chips and 2 drinks. We pay 24ish so its veru reasonable.

Simple fix for a Mexican Food Craving. Food is always a hit or miss on the size or pieces of chicken/steak fajitas. Main problem is cleanliness, 3 customers and 6 employees and tables dirty seats ripped or food all over the place.

Have always had good service at this location. Love the breakfast tacos and they even offer corn tortillas. Plus the dozen for under $ 12 is a great deal.

Okay, I am really not understanding all the negative reviews for this location. I get that it’s a Taco Cabana, so, HELLO, you need to expect Taco Cabana food and service. Slide off of the blanket you probably knitted out of hemp that you harvested yourself and then turned in to yarn and then sprinkled with essential oils to put upon your hipster high horse and concede that Taco Cabana’s food has a distinctive flavor and this location lives up to it! It’s obviously not Lupe Tortilla’s, so quit complaining that it’s not or go over there and pay the LT prices! That being said, we eat here maybe once every 1 to 3 months and the food has always been on par for what we expect from TC. The tortillas are always thick and yummy and I always steal(at least) one whenever the dude gets a dozen to dip in his queso. The steak fajita meat has a consistently decent flavor which I prefer to the grisly cheap meat flavor that often accompanies beef at taquerias. They also currently, and for a limited time, have a creamy avocado ranch salsa in the salsa bar that is ¡DELICIOSA!(See what I did there?) Service, on the other hand, has occasionally been hit or miss, but nothing’s been major enough to warrant major star droppage. So if one of you über-cool hipsters is in the mood for decent cheap Tex-Mex, pop on your fedora and buddy holly glasses and ride your vintage bike(or push the button on your electric car) to putter on over there before they get rid of the avocado ranch. Normal people, you should also try the avocado ranch before it’s gone! I recommend drizzling it on the beef fajita tacos — yummm.

The crunchy tacos are decent. Ended up throwing the rest away because it sucked so bad. No other way to describe it.

Everytime I go here late at night they are«closed» for repairs or not open at all because no one ever answers at the drive thru, even though I can see people inside. Isn’t Taco Cabana supposed to be 24-hours 7 days a week? What is wrong with this one? The one on 59 near Deerbrook is never open late either.
