I absolutely love love love LOOOVE this restaurant. I’ve never been a fan of chipotle’s lackluster line up of ingredients and was closed off to any and all burrito chains. But all that baggage fell away the moment i dug in.
Everything is super fresh and there are tooons more fresh options to choose from to customize your burrito/​bowl. The ingredients are always perfectly seasoned and cooked well (can’t say this abut chipotle) and on top of that, their sauces are pretty awesome – adding another super flavor-​layer (lol) to the mix.
Plus, the service is always on point and always done with a smile. Can’t tell u how many restaurants I’ve been to with dour-​looking faces and expressions.

The food is always fresh. Even if there is a line of people during a rush hour, the wait is not long at all. The staff is awesome and very welcoming. Everything on the menu is pretty great.

Ok, ok I’m sold. It’s a build your own taco/​burrito bar but the ingredients are very good and seam fresh. My personal favorite is couple soft tacos corn, with fajita beaf, onions and cilantro. Touch of sauce and a tea. I wasn’t expecting much. But was very pleasantly surprised. Definitely be back.

Their mobile ordering system is terrible.
Basically a Chipotle with Queso and more selection of ingredients.
If you don’t want your food seasoned with E. Coli at Chipotle, this place is the alternative.
I will not go back.

I have to agree with a few other reviewers that the restaurant has definitely cut corners and used to be better when they were Mission Burrito. My family and I used to come here often and loved it… until we saw some of the ways they were cutting corners were unsanitary and gross (reusing items from other customers, not washing hands after sneezing when prepping food, etc.). After seeing things two times in a row, we stopped coming back. Hopefully they will get it turned around. This used to be our go to place!

uburrito was an awesome place. My wife and I spent a few days around Houston and stayed in Humble. We were hungry and found a place called Mission Burrito. After asking the front desk of the hotel about it, she said they changed their name. We still went to try it out.
In a world full of Chipotle’s and Free Birds, this little Burrito house was fantastic. I would rate it as one of the best burritos I’ve ever had. Great job uburrito!

So we come here quite a bit but after first watching them not offer the house made habanero and other salsas in squeeze bottles by the drink fountain the way the shepherd location used to (–1 star), then also recently doing away with the habanero Tabasco bottles in the condiments rack offered by the drink fountain (–1 star, why do you guys keep reducing everything habanero? Me likes it spicy!), then this bad habit they have with the tortilla soup of Only wanting to put chicken/​cheese/​broth/​and tortilla strips which they call croutons for some gringo reason, the shift manager and her underling actually frowned and made me awkwardly explain myself that I wanted some beans onions cilantro and other obvious stuff in there too from the options right there that they have available for everything else on the menu but apparently not for the ridiculously basic soup they want you to be okay with (–1 star but should be –2 or 3 for that but I’m being nice bc I love their ingredients, that’s why I want them in my soup tambien yo!), so that leaves 2 stars bc the extra tortilla flavors and ingredient options for everything Other than the soup are pretty great. so in the end 2 stars it is. We will most certainly be back for our weekly fix bc they are slightly tastier than freebirds and more options than chipotle but Uberrito just know that you were oh so much better when you were Mission Burrito! You’re trying to cut so many cost corners in little ways you think we don’t notice but your longtime customers remember when the things you stopped doing made it a 4 – 5 star place!

I have been here two times. Loved it both times. As much as I like the atmosphere at Free Birds. I think the food is better here.

Love this place. Affordable, and never disappointed. Make sure to get the spicy ranch! Überrito trumps Chipotle any day.

I eat here weekly. Usually bounce between the salads or the burrito. Most compare it to Chipotle but honestly there is no comparison.
The options for tortillas, salad fillings, sauces amd condiments are muuuuuch more than Chipotle (and tastes better!). My salad usually contains the salad mix, black beans, chicken, mix of medium and tomatilla sauce, jicama slaw (yum), red cabbage, grilled corn, avocado slices or guacamole depending on how the wind blows, spinach, cilantro.
Burritos I get either the spinach or jalapeño cheddar tortilla with Spanish rice, barbacoa, no sauce, veggies and cheese.
Great location for when you do those Target runs or just want to poke your nose in at Home Goods ;)
The staff and owner are super friendly and quick. Looooove them. Just need more locations in Houston.

When it comes to burritos this is the spot! Love all the options they have, Way better than chipotle.
Prices are reasonable. I spend around 20 bucks for me and my lady.
Service is on & off depends who’s on the line the day of your visit.

Every time I eat here I am excited bc there are so many choices… but I always always get an upset tummy afterwards. Maybe the food isn’t kept to the right temperature or something. I won’t be eating here again.

This is our go to spot for quick and tasty Mexican Food. Formerly known as Mission Burrito, they rebranded at the beginning of 2015.
It is like Chipotle but ten times better. They have more options in meat, veggies, and 10 different tacos.
We always go for the bowl here. With Spinach as the base w/​jicama, potatoes, red peppers, cilantro rice, black beans, chicken, pico de gallo, cilantro, corn, pickled jalapeños, and some of their oh so tasty cilantro ranch dressing. They don’t have the jicama, potatoes, and red peppers out so you gotta ask them to get those. Their burritos and tacos are just as good. We usually do the same options as above on the burrito if we are craving the carbs. On the tacos the Sloppy Cowboy, Chicken Cheesy, and Texas Cheesesteak are all awesome.
Their staff is always friendly and give great service. This is an awesome place to grab food if you want something better with more options to choose from.

I really enjoyed eating here! The food is so tasty and the variety of toppings is refreshing. The staff was friendly and very inviting. Be ready to take some home because the portions are HUGE! The amount of salsa I got with my chips was probably triple what some other similar places give you! So yummy!

I was a big fan of Chipotle but decided to try Uberrito for the first time today. Wow, so many delicious toppings — healthy too like the spinach, mushrooms, red cabbage, and cilantro! They also have a variety of tortilla options. My over the counter server was very nice and explained/​described everything! Also, nice, clean, and cool ambiance inside.

We came here because of the great reviews on Unilocal,l wish l would have walked out instead of eating here. This is the first time Unilocal reviews have disappointed me, l have always trusted the reviews in the past. I will continue to do so, because this was one bad one out of hundreds.
First you stand in line at an assembly station. Tacos are $ 4.00 each! Two other choices are a «build it» burrito or a bowl. We chose a bowl. As you walk down the assembly line, you choose your rice, beans, meat and toppings, tomato, spinach, jalapeño, etc. And the staff adds it to your bowl. Avocado was extra?
This is not mexican food by any means! I wouldn’t even call it Tex-​Mex, well it is Tex-​Mex at its worst.
The total for 4 people was over $ 41.00. And one of us had a bowl of soup instead of a burrito in a bowl. And 2 of us had water to drink. I didn’t see the itemized receipt, just the total.
We will not be returning and l DO NOT recommend this eatery. Especially if you’re looking for great mexican food (or even good).

Good quality food, this is the third time i visit this place. I had a fajita burrito with spinach tortilla, the meat quality was very nice soft and nicely spiced, they have a lot of different topings and tummy salsas… you have the option to customize your burrito so it makes it extra easy to adjust it to your particular flavor, mine being really spicy. Staff is nice and the inside is kept clean and cold. Its a nice place for a quick bite. Only cons its beer its a little bit expensive but hey the food is good!

Love this place!!! You can watch the folks cook your food. They wear gloves and everything is very neat and tidy! The staff is very friendly and the food is fresh. Usually very clean and just a very pleasant place to eat:)

5 buck chicken bowls on Monday. Deal, deal, deal!!! Chicken is moist and has a great flavor. Fajitas mix goes great with the chicken. I like the rices too and pinto beans. So many topping to choose from. Wish I had not waited so long to try.

I LOVE this place! By far the best burrito place around. I wish they’d start expanding already! The food is better all around– and way more options for toppings than any other place around. Great prices as well. If you haven’t checked this place out, you should definitely give it a shot

I love this place! Now called ÜBerrito. They are hands down better then Chipotle. I think the food tastes better. Fresh food, great service, customize each order. Nice décor and atmosphere. Clean restrooms.

This will always be one of my favs, because I believe it started the whole burrito thing in Houston, BUT… the like of other restaurants like it server larger portions, so they’d better get on the ball.
