Came here today for a friend’s birthday. I like that it’s BYOB. I like the crawfish(somewhat)… They were really tasty on the outside but I don’t think zydeclaws soaks them in the juice long enough. I like my meat to have flavor & these did not. They were a pretty decent size. The shrimp was very tasty and they were pretty big and cost $ 13.50/lb. Yikes! I did not like the restroom. There is only one and it sits very closely behind a long table where people are eating. Once inside, the urinal is smack dab in your face while you’re trying to use the toilet. Whoever designed this restroom did not think it all the way through. No one wants to stare down a urinal while doing their business. Yuck!

We decided to try this place after reading some reviews. Must be friends or crawfish rookies giving a high rating. The crawfish were small and salty. We asked for spicy, all they did was sprinkle seasoning on the top. The tails themselves were bland with very little flavor. Owner is far from Cajun. The sides were all bland with the same seasoning tossed on them as well. Extremely disappointed !

The crawfish tasted fresh and flavorful with a nice kick. It was also pretty cheap compared to some other places $ 6.50. The shrimp was avg on price $ 13/lb but it was deveined which is unusual. Both crawfish and shrimp were nicely cooked. The sausage links have a nice smokiness to them, the pieces of corn were pretty big. Overall I had a great experience, my only complaint is that they don’t serve the crawfish or shrimp with additional seasoning or lots of garlic like some of the other places.

After so many excellent ratings, I got my hopes up. Tonight the crawfish were a bit salty, regardless of personal preference; however, my biggest problem is when you’re born and raised in New Orleans, it’s hard to find good seafood anywhere. Of course, we suck the heads, which were ok because of the seasoning on the outside(btw, never saw that until we left New Orleans), but the meat itself did not have much flavor :(Maybe if we licked the shells while pinching the tails, it would have helped(???). Obviously, most people like it here, but if you’re used to eating anywhere near the Big Easy, get a live sack and cook them yourself.

The crawfish were seasoned well and large. The service was excellent and fast. I have tried several crawfish shacks in Humble and this one is the best! The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because the Boudain was not cooked well and did not have much seasoning.

The literally have the best crawfish in Humble. I have yet to come and be disappointed. They have a sitting area and I haven’t been in there but I am tempted to try it real soon. This is the only place I come when I need a crawfish fix. Nobody does it like Zydeclaws!!!

Best crawfish in town! Always fresh and full of flavor! Love the new back dining room, it made eating crawfish out and about so worth it. Big plus when buying live they split a bag for me, not many places will do that.

Great crawfish! Size, taste, quality, freshness!!! Loved it, just too far for my weekly cravings during the season. Otherwise I would visit twice a week.

Nice little(hard to find) place on 1960. It’s BYOB, but they do have soft drinks. Seating is outside at covered picnic tables so be aware of that. All in all fast service, and decent prices.

Just had 5 lbs and an order of mushrooms for $ 34. And I must say that it was so good! Just the right amount of spice, a little on the salty side, and the crawfish were all decent size. I would’ve liked for the potatoes to be boiled in the seasoning juice for a little more flavor. I’ll definitely be back :)

OK, I have been eating crawfish for over 20 years. I eat crawfish maybe 2 – 3 times a week. A friend referred me here. Probably the worst crawfish ever. The 3lbs of crawfish I ordered tasted like pure salt. I couldn’t even eat all of it. I don’t care for HEB crawfish, but even HEB is better. Sorry Zydeclaws.

My first experience today. Indoor seating is available. Amazing flavor with decent size, got several MONSTER sized mudbugs. Very fresh and constant fast service. My new spot for sure!

The service is great, only opens during crawfish season. The opening hours are not observed sometimes, I guess when it is not busy they shut down for business. The crawfish is delicious though.

Been to Zydeclaws a few times and I haven’t been disappointed yet. It’s a little shack off Atascocita Road, the sign isn’t obvious so also look for a car wash and insurance agent building opening, that’s it! Just park around the vicinity of the business or you can drive up to the window and order. There’s no indoor seating but there are about 3 picnic tables outside where you can eat with your group. So what would I get… of course the crawfish! It’s served with the typical sides such as potatoes and corn and the minimum is 2lbs of crawfish but obviously you can get as much as you want. I enjoy their seasoning because it has a kick to it but not too spicy that you have to pause in between peeling. Other good stuff on the menu are the shrimp, crabs, and sausage. There may be a line but it goes by pretty fast and the service is still up to par. Good local place to keep on going back to!

This is the greatest little place in the Humble Area for drive through crawfish. The spices are on target and wonderful… You get potatos with the basic 2 pound order. I usually get corn as well. They do have other seafood on the menu but my guess is their best seller is the mudbugs. I learned to love the things here. Great place. By the way isn’t hard to find. If you cant find it just watch for the signs and watch for a small shack with tables beside on the south side of Atascocita east of G You wont be disappointed. Family owned and run… Excellent

This is my first review of this place. I have eaten crawfish from here since they began. I enjoy the authentic spices uses to boil the crawfish and shrimp. I’m from New Orleans. I have boil seafood all my life. So, I know my seafood. These forks are on point. The service is quick and smooth, once I got to the window. Be prepared to be line. The prices should be displayed on a large billboard for drive thru customers can view the prices before pulling up to the window. I recommend going here. It’s worth the wait.

We stumbled across this place and had the best crawfish and we have been many places. My husband also got a pound of steamed shrimp. We literally sat out on picnic tables but it was well worth it. We sat next to a family who made the drive from Beaumont because they love it so much! We can’t wait for it to open back up during crawfish season!

The best little crawfish shack in Humble! Zydeclaw’s is a tiny little shack, it’s even kind of easy to miss. Look for their distinctive sign along Atascocita road. Get in line for the drive thru service and get ready for a long drive home as you experience the aroma of their delicious vittles. Yes, they do crawdaddies, as the name implies. You can get the corn and potatoes too. They are well spiced, just the way I like em. We also get the sausage, which has a good flavor and a pop to the skin. Hub really likes that. Their boudin is ok. I think I would give them more stars, if I liked it better. Maybe I have been spoiled by the boudin I have gotten in New Iberia. Probably. Zydeclaws is a seasonal shack, so if it’s early or late in the crawfish season, you should call ahead. If we are smack in the middle of it, well, start smackin’ your lips and get in the car already!
