The acai bowls are so dank! The only down side is the price :(since the last time I was here, it seems that the bowls got smaller and the prices went up, but the taste and customer service got me comin back!

Loved their acai bowl– great portioning & very good! Also, I loved the feel of the place. Relaxing atmosphere. Not much of a coffee drinker but I’ll be back for more acai :)

I am very happy to find this coffee gem hidden by Trader Joes. It was a very pleasing early drizzly morning experience from a coffee shop –when i ordered waffles– a very nice lady walked up from the back and asked me «what kind of syrup i prefer and what kind of fruit topping i would like.(I paused for a moment since I never expected that — I felt I was special)”– I wish Starbucks could do that! Oh of course not. Minutes later, same lady delivered the small plate of waffles to my table. I asked her if she was the owner. Happily she is the Mom of the owner. I learned couple of interesting things about the coffee shop. I admire the esthetics and the layout. I had a nice quick chat with her– she is very warm and nice. I wish all coffee shops are like this. I can’t wait for u to have one in LA! I will return when I’m back in town. Keep up the great«feel at home» friendly service!

This place is a gem. You almost have to go to cities like San Francisco to find such a great coffee shop. The atmosphere is artistic and creative, perfect for hanging out with friends and talking or playing board games, or also for journaling or working. I had the Yerba Mate with almond milk and a touch of honey, as recommended by the staff. Yum!

Best coffee place in west HB. The terrace is enjoyable and the coffee is good. They just starting making waffles, wholegrain hot waffles… Try it.

First time here… located in a cute little plaza! Thought I’d stop in for quick bit before kayaking. Never had Acai before… staff allowed me to sample before ordering. I got the peanut butter chocolate bowl… and almond latte. The peanut butter Acai bowl was amazing! A little concerned about carb so asked them to reduce bananas and granola; did so without problem. Loved the Acai bowl! Perfect balance of tangy and sweet– not heavy. Great way to start my day! Felt like having dessert for breakfast because texture was more like sherbet… but sooo sooo good! Don’t live in Huntington Beach but will definitely be back! My new fave coffee shop/Acai spot :) Thumbs up!

Coffee is good but the snobby people that work behind the counter are a turn off. I got a sarcastic remark and chuckle from the guy who gave me cream for my coffee. I guess cream isn’t meant for the type of coffee you gave me? But the Chuckle smirk and remark are not necessary. I’m pretty sure I will not be back here.

If you get the right person…, they still make the bowls the old way! OG Wave is the best bowl around and I hope they will always make them. Can’t ever get enough of them. I’ll keep going back for sure.

Found this recent coffee place in a somewhat hidden spot in Huntington Beach. I have been looking for another coffee shop since my favorite one does not open up on Sundays. Their coffee is great as well as their acai bowl. This place is great to study-in and is very spacious, so I would definitely come back just to chill here.

Since I’m new to my neighbourhood. Looking for a good coffee place. The pourover was amazing! Thanks to the staff for going over what notes were available. Like the ambience. I’ll be back again. I’ll have to try the acai bowls.

I came across this place when I was walking out of Trader Joe’s and decided to try it out. Great decision! The vibe was really cool and it was very nicely decorated with lots of space, perfect for studying! I ordered a vanilla latte to go. The barista was really nice and told me about the Madagascar vanilla pods that they use to make the lattes while he was making it! I loved the cute leaf pattern in the foam and the latte was fantastic! Definitely coming here again :)

They had really good coffee and really nice baristas. The place had a clean and bright vibe, and there was plenty of seating. I would definitely go back if I was in the area.

This is probably my favorite acai bowl place and I’ve been to several. They recently changed their menu but luckily my go-to item is still there. The owner, Mike, is super cool and invested in making Aosa progressive, creative, and health conscious. They offer soooo many things here that sets them apart — Acai bowls, delicious coffee, nitro coffee, and kombucha on tap — just to name a few. Love the vibe and the drinks! I forgot to mention, the price is pretty good too. Definitely check this place out!

Excellent quality acai bowls. We love the peanut butter one. I return here for the lattes. I love them with honey on top. I always enjoy excellent service from the friendly staff. When I have informal business meetings in the area I have chosen this as the destination. Everyone agrees it has good energy. On most days I’m with my toddler. My toddler enjoys playing in the play corner and afterwards we play on the outdoor play boat near the dolphin play sculptures. Usually we add in a quick visit to trader joes.

Everytime I talk myself into giving AOSA another try, it gets worse. The last time I visited, I learned that they’d decided to only offer their acai and pitaya bowls in one, smaller, size. And, of course, they wanted the same price as they used to. Today, when I arrived, I discovered that they’ve now decided that no one is thirsty. They only offer their drinks in one size – a 12oz cup. Lattes, teas, coffees. All 12oz. This would merely be obnoxious hipsterism if they’d only reduced the sizes. But they’ve also decided that theirs is the best latte in California, apparently. What other justification could they have for asking $ 4.50 for a small? For those of you playing at home, that’s what their competition charges for a large. No amount of distressed wood furnishing or burned-out and condescending surfer help is going to make that a smart purchase. I think today’s my last try. Adiós, AOSA. You started great and devolved into shit.

Really urban place to grab something healthy. The architecture is great. You can literally spend an hour or two here playing games and you can bring your doggy :) Best local coffee shop– hands down.

Maybe I’m not searching hard enough but I haven’t found pitaya bowls in the bay area yet, maybe it’s still coming off of the acai hype. My boyfriend came across this place online and I was so excited to hear they had pitaya that I knew we’d have to go, even at 5pm in the afternoon. The location is a bit hard to find at first, it’s tucked away past the trader joes on the corner. The coffee shop itself is pretty large, artsy, and overall very comfortable. I didn’t expect them to have bowls so what a treat :) we substituted our bowl with pitaya and it was delicious. 5 stars to our helpful server who accidentally gave us generous portions!

I really like how I can enjoy a delicious iced mocha coffee locally and close to home too. I am not a heavy coffee drinker that needs coffee everyday. Sometimes I feel at these gourmet coffee shops they make their coffee really strong with the espresso in it that can get you jittery or boost your energy to the point that is beyond hyper. When the coffee is too strong it makes it more bitter when I like it more sweeter. Then I want more chocolate, milk or cream needed to dilute that bitter taste. I am naturally energetic so caffeine on a day that I am feeling lazy or tired does help make me feel more awake. I can’t have too much caffeine or it will keep me up all night. This place makes the coffee just the way I like it here so I will be coming back soon for that delicious iced mocha or try the machilato. It’s relaxing here with the architectural décor ambiance it feels romantic during daytime hours just not dark enough to make you too relaxed that you’ll fall asleep. This place is hidden away in a shopping plaza worth checking out especially if you want to shop at the Trader Joe’s right after.

Just a pretentious wanna-be-fancy coffee place. No good for European breakfast. They manage to make an awful cappuccino. No croissants. No sweets. Maybe for those smoothies is OK but do not even think to stop by for a coffee
