Starbucks

This Starbucks just sucks! I used to live super close by and walk in all the time and never really had an issue. But all of a sudden the last year or so whenever I go in or drive thru it’s just a crappy experience! They’ve gotten my drink wrong at least three times and the last two they’ve given me and attitude when I’ve nicely said «oh sorry that’s not what I ordered, I ordered a chai tea latte.» They also warm up any bakery goods either without asking if you want it warmed or even after you specifically ask that they not warm it up. Maybe they have hired new people that just don’t care at all but geez!

I usually come to this location since it’s about 20 minutes walking distance from my house. The staff is friendly, but there was this one girl who is a barista who either doesn’t understand plain English, didn’t hear what I said, or doesn’t understand a word I’m saying because the music was blaring on the speakers too loud. Not only that, not understanding what I said equaled to either getting my order wrong or saying, «FIFTY dollars and 50 cents on your card?» No, I said, «FIFTEEN (1 – 5) (yes, I had to raise my voice for everyone else waiting in line behind me to hear, but I didn’t mind.)
The wait was another thing I didn’t like about this Starbucks location — at least the location on Warner & Bolsa Chica inside the Ralphs center isn’t that bad (especially in the morning). 8:00 in the morning, and the line was pretty much packed. I don’t mind walking another 10 minutes to Warner and Bolsa Chica for some coffee, because this Bolsa Chica location is just NUTS to me. ³⁄₅ stars

The staff here are very rude. I’m familiar with Starbucks’s hiring process as I coach a young man that works for Starbucks. I’m not sure how some of these staff were ever hired. They operate with a sense of entitlement. Customers are an annoyance not a joy for them. Corporate needs to step in and really bring a lot of their SoCal outlets through some training and discover the ones that need to be released to work at a high end fashion store instead. They are tarnishing the Starbucks brand.

I don’t even know where to begin with this location! It has taken me some time to even write this review because I have given this starbucks so many chances, but I feel like they get worse!
The girls have gotten my order wrong almost every time I come here in the mornings, I get it trust me I do, its 7am the line is to the street you guys are busy, no hard feelings, but after the 3^rd time on different occasions I just feel like they don’t like me at this point. When I correct the girls in the drive thru they practically slam the window, and give me the biggest attitude. The very last time I came here was a week ago (after not coming for almost a month). That experience is not even worth typing up, the girl baristas that I have encountered here in the mornings are by far the worst.

Probably one of the worst Starbucks locations I ever visited. I only come here if I’m desperate for coffee. They always either make my drink wrong or just don’t fill my coffee cup all the way. Definitely going to drive farther next time.

I love this Starbucks. Has a great drive thru and it’s never really packed like other Starbucks get. You can always get in and out. The staff is friendly and great no matter how disheveled I look from a shift at work.
However, I’m really proud of the other customers here and I hope a special few would read this review. Thank you very much to the couple with the barking dog in the dark colored sedan in front of me in the drive thru that paid my drink. It was the best after work moment and my faith in humanity is restored. I love it. I wish you both a life of happiness…
Best Starbucks ever.

I just finished purchasing a hot chocolate. The drink was okay in itself, but that is not what I have a problem with. There was an asian barista with very bad tattooed eyebrows. She was very stuck up. She didn’t tell me when my drink was ready, but I was one of the only people there, so I assumed the only hot drink was mine. I went to retrieve it, but I didn’t want to take it in case it wasn’t mine. I turned to ask her and she was already staring at me like I was about to steal something. I asked her & she said yes like it was the most obvious thing in the world. I love this location and will continue to patronize it, but I will be sure to not go when she is working.

This store to me is just OK. I only come here if I’m in a rush (thank goodness for the mobile app!). The staff usually seems unhappy and the store is generally in need of cleaning (especially the barista area). To be fair, the store layout is weird and they usually appear understaffed for a very busy location.
I recommend driving just a bit further to the Warner store (where Ralphs is at) and get great service from Happy Partners.

The worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. Customers were cramped next to each other because of the small building. Customers were also confused as to which order was there’s since the staff do not ask for names. My order was skipped and once I asked about it they asked to see my receipt and proceeded to look at each other and possibly talk about me. Once I got my order and left, I arrived at work only to find that my order was wrong. I then returned and again, they were confused about my order. There was at least 3 drinks sitting on the counter while other customers were standing around confused as to which drink was theirs. Will definitely not return.

Always busy, not their fault but just a forewarning. Have to get there early if you want any breakfast food items. I get really touchy service, some of the baristas are friendly while others are rude. That’s my main pet peeve with this location. I really wish they would snap out of their elitist barista vibes. I prefer a smile and a friendly rapport when I get my coffee in the morning, considering it’s the first human interaction I have of the day. I really wouldn’t prefer to go here but the location is crucial in my drive to school. Please step up your game guys!

Sat inside to get out of the heat and do some work. I ordered a drink and inquired about the wireless chargers was abruptly told «you put them on the tables» as he walked away. Still no clue how to use them. I ordered my drink and a same drink was called out. I took it only and realized it wasn’t mine and told the barista sorry she didn’t even acknowledge me. As I say in there for about 2 hours one of the baristas was very rude to the rest of the employees barking orders. A few of them said, yes we know, yes we’re doing it. In that time they didn’t make 3 orders correctly and the customers had to come back in to have it fixed. Their were no, I’m sorrys, it was just blaming from the barking boss. I’ve never been in a Starbucks where the employees seem so miserable to be there that they are not even friendly to their customers. Sad.

First I just want to say that zac from the drive thru is the sexiest little caramel macchiato I’ve ever seen. Definitely coming back to get a trenta of Zac. What a babe.

This morning I paid for milk. The young lady working drive thru put too much milk in my drink and the lid wouldn’t go on after she poured the espresso shots in it (I ordered an iced caramel macchiato) and so I watched her dump the precious shots of espresso that were sitting on top of the milk just so the lid would fit on. She then handed it to me like I didn’t just watch what happened…

I come to this Starbucks a few times a week and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences. My drinks are made properly and the workers are very pleasant. Some of them even recognize me from my frequent visits. I use the drive through and the line always moves efficiently. My favorite drinks are the white chocolate mocha (hot on cold days and iced on hot days) or the berry hibiscus refresher.

I avoid this location because it offers poor customer service (e.g. unfriendly employees/​standing at the counter without being acknowledged) and appears dirty. The lack of service and cleanliness issues motivate me to spend money elsewhere. Suggestion to management: don’t have your cashier who handles the money, wipes their nose/​face and touches their hair also be the individual making drinks and handling food.

The male baristas here are so rude. They make me nervous to even order. Sorta like the soup Nazi on Seinfeld… No Starbucks for you… bad customer service

This is one of my favorite Starbucks in the area. A great study spot because they have few tables that are unusually larger in size. Pretty small and busy place so if you go during busy time, you may not be able to find a spot though.
Baristas here are very friendly. Quality of drink? This location is neither worse or better than other Starbucks. Maybe that’s a good thing.

I was feeling sick and sounded like it, too. So, I decided to stop for a basic hot tea. This location was conveniently located on my way to work. When I ordered a hot green tea with my death voice, the barista suggested trying a medicine ball: hot black tea with mint refresh tea and lemon. It sounded pretty good, so I went with it. He ask me if I prefer it sweet, so he could add honey for me. It tasted amazing and helped my sore throat to boot!

I really like this starbucks! the baristas are always super friendly in the morning (really friendly given the time and how busy they must be haha). They have a drive through and FYI, the drive through takes about 15 minutes because of the line. Just letting you know so that you can plan your day accordingly :) Other than that, it’s no different from your regular starbucks. Hope this was helpful!
