Very good food! Service is good and food comes out fast. My 2nd or 3rd time here. Today I am having the posole which is pretty good here. Posole can be hit or miss at restaurants depending where you go. The posole here is tasty. The meat tender and not too fatty and the broth rich and flavorful. The beer is cold and salsa is fresh. The restaurant is small and fairly busy anytime I have been here.

Cancun is a great place for INCREDIBLYDELICIOUS Mexican food at a reasonable price! The exterior doesn’t look quite as inviting, and the interior is a bit cramped. They have a salsa bar. I always get it to go because it was a bit noisy due to the cooking. HORCHATA(appx. $ 1.50) You get a lot of horchata and it is perfectly sweet and you get about 16 ounces! TACOTUESDAYSTREETTACOS($ 1.00 each) Their tacos are kind of small for $ 1, The taco truck about half a mile away are only $ 0.50. I got the chicken tacos and they were good but a bit dry. CARNITASTACO($ 2.55) Their carnitas are DELICIOUS! Perfectly cooked and tasty and you get a LOT of meat. They’re very greasy, however; and soak right through the wrap, bag, and any napkins. I haven’t tried any of the plates or rice since I’ve only been here twice. My first time I came though, the guy asked me if it was my first time and gave me free chips and salsa! Overall, they have delicious food at a moderate price. It’s a bit calorific, and the environment isn’t the best, but you can’t beat good food ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Decent Mexican food and very quick. I was in the area and needed a quick meal and this worked out. One thing that I really enjoyed was their homemade hot sauce. It has a great taste with just enough spice to make my quesadilla taste good. The price was a little steep for a chicken quesadilla but again thankfully the free hot sauce made up for it. Also they were a little selfish with the guacamole and sour cream. This place is super small but seemed to be filled with patrons. Perhaps the $ 1 taco special was the reason behind that. Otherwise I suggest buy here and eat somewhere else. Better option than El Pollo Loco but not the best Mexican food that I’ve tasted.

If you are looking for an authentic Mexican joint, look no further! This place is a small restaurant with the great customer service combined with an amazing menu to choose from. The workers are sweet and bring about a warm welcome to their guests. I’ve been here a couple times and had their chicken torta and just recently had their huevos rancheros. I felt like I was having food from my aunts place! Great vibe and amazing food is what you’ll get from this spot.

Even in Mexico it is very rare to find Al Pastor tacos cooked«al carbon.» Cooking the meat«al carbon» makes these tacos uniquely amazing. The salsa is also amazing. The employees seem to be having a good time, & they joke with you in Spanish or English.

I was craving Mexican food for dinner and turned to trusty Unilocal for advice. Cancun Mexican Food popped up and thought I was give this place a try. The restaurant is in the same shopping center as Stater Brothers but is in a separate shopping block, next to the frozen yogurt. The restaurant is small, but when I walked in, I loved hearing the Mexican music playing. And this restaurant smelled amazing. The menu has lots of options for tacos, burritos, but I liked the variety of their plates. I ordered two chicken tacos, two carnitas tacos, and the chicken burrito with wet green sauce. The food was really good and had lots of flavor. The salsa bar has a good variety of both red and green sauces, and I think I could have eaten a whole bowl of the green crema salsa. The table next to me ordered the steak plate, and it looked so colorful. Did I mention that it smelled amazing too? Happy to have found this and will return soon!

I’ve come in and out of this little place several times. At first I wasn’t too sure about it, but finally gave it a try on taco Tuesday and boy was I surprised. Their little street tacos are only 99 cents and have got to be some of the best little street tacos I’ve had so far. Definitely ranking among the top 5 of my favorite places. If you ever find yourself having to wait for their pastor taco, I will tell you, without a doubt, it is worth the wait. A+ job.

After several more trips and trying lots of other places, I have to say this is probably the best Mexican food in The HB area. Would love to see an expanded dining area, but having said that it’s rare that we can find a seat. Love this place, highly recommend.

This is my favorite taco place. They’re way better than any of the tacos on Main st. Their meats are marinated in house and the salsas are amazing. I’ve strayed away from the tacos only once, and had a torta, and it didn’t disappoint. My favorite Mexican food in HB

Was called out by the property management company for a major plumbing issue the sewer lines were all backed up and the drains were backing up into the restaurant and the adjacent buildings after we are done working on the plumbing we ordered a Torta and chili Vertie omelette platter. Really was the best torta I’ve ever had and my buddy loved his food The way the staff handled themselves was unlike any other Mexican restaurant they were extremely friendly and professional I want you here again love this place

Been coming here for 20 years and it «WAS» always good the last 2 visits were bizarre and an insult. Two weeks ago my wife got take out instead of a relleno which when we called back they gave us a chicken taco but charged the relleno price. The enchilada was a baby size and horrific, let alone the terrible fish taco. So we figured OK a bad day in 20 years not what we wanted but hey it happens. Went last night same thing and a clueless group of guys running the joint… No rellenos«she is out getting them» and the enchilada was the same baby version. To bad this was our go to place for a good Mexi grind but Adiós Amigos

I have had decent tacos here but today i opted for the fish taco. Well it was a fish stick! The worst fish taco ever. Just sayin.. go to Rubios if you want a decent fish taco, stay away from here. Oh the pickled carrots were awful too.

Some of the best and spiciest salsas around. Hands down the best and legit mexican food in Huntington Beach. Period! A little small but they have enough of a following to expand… as long as they stay close to my work. Have all the classic bottle mexican style sodas along with fountain drinks, horchata, Jamaica and beer!!! Taste just like Mommas cooking

I came in here Friday night in some desperate need of authentic and delicious Mexican food and this place fir the bill! This place is very small and easy to almost pass if you are not looking for it carefully. Fiancé and I walked in and took a few minutes to look over the menu. We ended up with a few different types of taco and a burrito for takeout. There are several bottled sodas available(Mexican coke, sprite and fantas). A salsa bar is also on site so we loaded up on a few different types before we left. Our food was ready quickly. We took it home and dug in and we were extremely happy! Street style tacos with plenty of filling(we like to add salsa for flavor), a great burrito and delicious rice and beans on the side. The rice was full of flavor and the beans were the perfect consistency. Homemade chips were crisp and had the perfect amount of salt. I will definitely be coming here again. I only wish that they had paper menus I could take home to use to call ahead.

I eat here quite a bit I would eat here every night if I wouldn’t weight 500 lbs. Lol. Love the ice cold Mexican beer. Their staff is very accommodating and super sweet. I can’t say enough about this place I love Cancun restaurant.
