Ok, I’ll keep this short. I went through the drive thru and there was a problem with my order which I didn’t realize until home. I was not happy since this is not The first time this has happened. I decided to call and speak to the manager, and I must admit I was a jerk on the phone. The manager I spoke to(sorry I didn’t get his name) was very polite and he handled the situation beyond how I expected him to. Thanks again for handling this in a professional manor which were beyond my expectations.

I used to work at a fast food restaurant and I understand how hard and demanding it can be to work at any fast food restaurant. Yet, I have to say that this pollo loco has great customer service. Best Customer services I have seen. I work at a school next to them So, I would go often to eat or buy a drink. I soon became a regular. Their general manger was the best, well he is the best. He would always have a smile on his face and he even took the time to know my name. He would always ask me how my day was going, sometime even asked if I loved my job. He took his time to get to know me. I was sad to find out that his last day was on 11÷10÷15. He is a great individual and has a great understanding of customer service. Honestly great customer service makes such a difference.

This place always forgets items in the drive thru. Our last experience, the chicken was undercooked. Slimy skin and pink meat. We ordered a 12 piece family meal and were given one fork and two napkins… not what I think would be needed for a 12 piece meal. They forgot the tortillas and churros. Not the first time, by the way. Salad was wilted. This place used to be better. Not sure what happened, but will not be returning.

Absolutely horrible customer service tonight at about 10:30pm when I bought a BRC burrito. When I asked for lemon the larger woman at the window who likes to slam her window at me when I was pulling money out of my wallet stated, «I would have to go all the way to the back». I’m sorry you couldn’t take a few steps on a slow night not get some lemons. Since I didn’t want to inconvenience your goals to maintain your current weight, I just told her to forget it. I would have left a reference number for management but I didn’t even get a receipt. Such lazy service.

The food was fine, good even. The only big olé issue this locations has is it is not very clean. The tables always have a residue on it. Last time I went with my dad, we sat by the window and as we were eating we noticed a lot of termites on the window sill. They were flying around and some landed in our food. I stopped eating and lost my appetite for obvious reasons. I told the manager, he checked at the window sill then said we could move. I told him how they landed in our food. He had a good start but by saying«I’m sorry about that.» A refund or replacement would have been a better customer service solution but he just walked off after that. I have not been there since and refuse to go back, bugs are a deal breaker for me personally.

I’m always craving their chicken! I don’t buy any sides and just the lovely chicken fills me up. I went around 2 after the lunch rush and they were pretty efficient but. THEYNEVERGIVEENOUGHSAUCE! And when I ask for extra she said no extras… Like for real?!? First off they gave me the red salsa instead of the green ones I asked for and when I asked for the green she said no. Then I just asked for two she rolled her eyes and went to go get me two. When I got home I checked my order and all my corn tortilla came broken in half :(probably just bad luck. I’m still going to enjoy my chicken. Just not as much.

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now using the drive thru and only had a problem once. We didn’t get all we had ordered and when I went inside to tell the cashier the manager came up and asked me if i was sure I didn’t get everything. I just stood there looking at her and pushed the bag towards her and asked her to check the bag and cameras. I was really offended. But since then nothing bad has happened. I love their tortilla soup. I had it every day for over a week now since I had a bad cold.

Can a restaurant have schizophrenia? This one does. First the drive thru always screws up the order. At first it was OK, minor mistake, drive around… Then I saw the pattern and would speak slowly. No help. But I was lucky to get the male manager every time in the beginning. He’d give us a free order of churros or something else free. Food was always good. And then… The female manager. *cue dramatic music* As usual order screwed up. But she would make us feel as if we did something wrong. The final straw was no utensils. I didn’t drive around, I parked by the door and walked in. Sure I was pissed. Every time! Wrong! I was the only car and I saw only 2 – 3 people inside. Again the attitude. No «I’m sorry», nothing but telling me that she was giving me the missing items but she knew that the items were in the bag. It turned out that buried at the bottom were half, HALF the missing items. Tired of calling Pollo Loco’s Canadian call center. Screw you and all of your Huntington Beach Pollo Locos. Fortunately I love the chicken so when I’m away from HB I’ll still go.

Love this el pollo loco location. Not only do you get quick service, but the customer service is always on point. As far as the good goes the quality is always top notch. I usually order the pollo bowl combo for five dollars. This meal include a bowl with rice, beans, chicken, pico de gallo, and onions and cilantro. A soft drink and tortillas are also included. The only reason I’m giving this location four stars is because I have had my order messed up a couple of time while going through the drive thru. Other then this I have nothing to complain about. I guess it makes sense why I come here multiple times a week. All in all I am very pleased with this location and I definitely would recommend this el pollo loco to anyone that is look for a quick inexpensive but healthier option than normal fast food! Don’t forget to use your coupons!

Ok. Well usually I have a good experience. Today instead of eating junky fast food, I thought, why not grab this instead and rush home to study for finals etc. So, I ordered the two piece meal with a Tres Leches cake. The meal was ok. Rice was Very burned and dry. Mashed potatoes had ONE drop of gravy on it. So, the meal was very dry overall! The cake was delish and just enough for one serving because for $ 3.50 it was tiny.

In comparison to other El Pollo Loco chains and other fast food options in the area, this particular El Pollo Loco is perfect. In comparison to other El Pollo Loco restaurants: They give large chunks of meat, they have the extra special sides that are still unavailable at other El Pollo Loco restaurants in the area, it’s very clean, and the employees are usually very friendly. In comparison to other options in the area: If you’re looking for a healthy and protein rich option, but don’t want to drive too far then this is the place. Your other options are a bunch of fast food places and photastic which always looks dead to me. The only real competition in terms of something comparable is Chipotle which is way overpriced for the amount of meat they give you. Gotta try the flame grilled corn
