He was very knowledgable and checked everything. Asked me when he saw a check engine light that i was sure i wanted the smog check, because it wouldn’t pass with the light on. Very cost effective as well.

Open Sunday and no wait. Need I say more? Trying to find quick car service anywhere in OC is impossible. It’s nice that someone works on Sunday so I could get this done on a day off work.

Open on Sundays! I arrived about 10:45am with one customer ahead of me. I was finished in 30 minutes; out the door for $ 50 cash with the coupon (credit card would have been $ 5 more). It’s a one man operation, no office, no waiting room; just a canopy and some folding chairs. But what else do you need?

Wish I could review the service this time around. The last two vehicles in the past 6 months were good experiences, not the fastest, but good. This vehicle, he refused to do the smog after an hour wait. I think it was because we had a coupon. Anyway, total FAIL to deny service after an hour wait. Normally, I would have argued, but I think it would have been a language barrier anyway. Too bad they won’t have my business anymore, with four vehicles in the household, have to go somewhere else.

Turned away 30 minutes before closing because it was «to close to sunset and will be getting dark.» Seriously? One would think if you’re open you’d want to have the business, but I guess not. Maybe he doesn’t own the place and didn’t care about profits. Bad business model of you ask me.

My husband found this place today. I called before I went in and he said it would be 45 to an hour wait. I needed this done ASAP as my tags expire in 8 days. It only took 45 minutes and he really hustled. I was very happy they accepted the coupon we had and compared to the last smog check I had on my old car, this technician is a stand up guy. I will be back and recommend this place to any one who asks.

This was my first time getting my car smogged! It was so easy, fast and the workers were very nice! I would definitely recommend this place. The biggest plus is that they are open on Sundays and are very reasonably priced and trustworthy! This will be my go to!

Honestly, I came here because they were open on Sunday. It was my first time getting a vechicle smogged and it was relatively painless. Everyone was friendly and answered questions I had, it didn’t cost much, and it wasn’t expensive at all.
I’ll be back here in a couple of years when I need my car smogged again.

Came in just when they were finishing with another vehicle. Paperwork was simply me writing down my address and confirming the year of the car. Customer service was exceptionally polite. When I asked how his day was going he replied with a handshake and smiling response. His assistant was helpful in expediting his work.
All-​in-​all I was very pleased with the $ 60 and less than 15 minutes at 10:45 on a Sunday. Who could ask for a better smog check experience.

Friendly & quick service. No coupons accepted on Sunday. You’re paying a premium because they are the only smog place open on a Sunday. If you waited to the last minute like I did, you’re happy to pay full price to have the option of getting it done.
— As another reviewer mentioned, the smog place is behind a car dealership you need to drive through to get to it. There are signs on the street indicating as such.

This guy is a moran. He thinks he is a qualified mechanic — telling me I would need to replace different parts to pass. I have reported him to the state — he is not allowed to do that.
Also — don’t use the coupon on
— he treats you differently as soon as he see it… all for the savings of less than $ 8.
Don’t waste your time here — go to magnolia & talbert (Ly Tran Smog — Star) — Ly is far better customer service, faster and zero attitude.

In and out in less than 15 min with no appointment (longest I’ve ever had to wait here was 25 min). I’ve been coming here since 2006 and he has always been very honest and reliable.
He won’t smog your car if the check engine light is on (as other places will do), which is cool b/​c check engine light = automatic fail of smog.
Best service in town. Highly recommend him to anyone. 5 stars easily.
