Have been coming here for 3 years and it is fabulous. Very friendly staff, repeat customers and great food. Can’t stay away

First time here at sushi bar. Chef recommended«Monkfish liver», tasted like frech goose liver, very delicious! Prices are very reasonable, I think salmon sushi is only $ 4, very big cut and good. I love the authentic Japanese green tea, smells so good. Some restaurants give you the cheap Chinese fake green tea, there is no flavor, not here. Will definitely come back soon!

Really good quality sushi! Ordered the usual, salmon, albacore, yellowtail, eel sushi. Kinda sad that they just sold out of uni! So we got the tuna special which was also great. Also ordered the albacore special roll, ichiban roll and both were really good. Will definitely come back.

Irassae is our new favorite, they have your regular sushi rolls but I would recommend asking Tony for one of his special rolls. He made us a ghost roll that was amazing! It’s not fancy dinning but it’s cute and quaint.

Tasty food, frustrating experience. Apparently the Irassae roll takes a lifetime to cook. Worst part is, everyone else in my party received and FINISHED their meal before my roll even came out. I was never once updated on the status of my roll and it took me 5 minutes just to flag someone down to ask. The quality and tastiness of the food is the only reason why I’ll probably be back. As for the service… meh.

it’s a small restaurant, not the place to have big parties. the sushi is fresh and always good quality pricing is reasonable. I like the small setting but it does get busy… really busy. Wait times during dinner rush could range from 30 – 60 mins depending on the crowd. I recommend this place, they have daily specials posted on the board. Staff can be a hit or miss, some are friendly while others are not that nice.

It’s good. Quality is good and I really don’t like sushi. But I’ve been exploring the menu here and everything is good. Service is friendly would definitely come again

Best sushi ever and amazing service! Oyster shooters are great and the Seabass Carpaccio is so refreshing.

I really like Irassae. The food is good, plenty of improve off the menu too. Everything taste really fresh, which is BIG in sushi(obviously). Staff is friendly, and service oriented. The last time I asked for a large beer to go back as the taste was off, no questions asked on their part. Sometimes the wait is long but you put up with it for the food. Clean restrooms to boot. Cheers, Dave W.

They hired some new people, a few new women and a much friendlier host guy. Food is always great but now the staff is better too!

Went there with my girlfriend at around 6pm on a thursday. First we had to wait quite some time before we got our table, about 1 hour. Finally we got seated and at the same time 4 other people got seated at the bar next to us. Cue the wait … while the 4 person team at the bar already had 4 courses we still had to receive our first course. A totally uninterested young waiter, just dropped the food on our table, didn’t even look at us or speak to us or nothing. We have been to a lot of sushi places and although the food was pretty good, for the price, the wait and the unprofessional waiter it is totally not worth it and there are many better options in the same area.

My friend and I were in the area so we decided to eat at this establishment for the first time. The ambiance is very clean and laid back. The décor is very simplistic but pleasant. We don’t eat sushi a lot but luckily we had the sweetest server, Michelle. She explained the whole menu to us and gave us great recommendations. The service was super fast and efficient. Persobally, I thought it was impressive. The stuffed jalapeño roll was delicious and flavorful. The gyoza was also very yummy. Perfectly crispy and good with the ponzu sauce. Good place to grab some small plates and beer/sake. Would come again!

One of the best sushi restaurants in the area! Thursday night, was surprisingly packed, and it was a 25 minute wait for a party of four. Cozy little sushi joint(don’t let the mirrors fool you) that sits about 50 – 60. What makes this place different from the rest is that they actually have not only authentic-looking sushi chefs(lol), but chefs that know how to present the rolls so beautifully. The fish is as fresh as you can get. The amount of rice on each piece was just right. Favorite Special Rolls: –Albacore Special(a must try) –Ichiban Roll(A little spice never hurts anybody!) Yummy Rolls: –Dragon Roll –Catepillar Roll –pretty much everything on the menu Service was excellent.

Coming from Vegas we’re used to the all you can eat sushi. We were craving sushi during our vacation and found this gem. It had a steady stream of customers coming in for dine in and take out. Smaller restaurant so you can expect a little wait. Again, we’re not used to paying a la carte, but the prices were reasonable after we saw the servings. The food also tasted very good.

Vegetable Tempura = yummy in my tummy! The vegetables could pretty much melt in your mouth. I’ve never seen a broccoli or lotus root until I got here, and those were exceptional. Baked Salmon Salad = delicious! It feels lighter/better than the ones I tried at other places, and the salmon skin is warm and crunchy. It also comes with a sauce that I didn’t use because it would probably be too salty. The only thing I didn’t really like was the pickled carrots and they were really stiff. Crunchy Roll = way too much eel sauce! It was the reason why I came here because who doesn’t like crunchy things?(Clearly, I do since everything I ordered had a crunchy component). All I remember was that the top surface of the roll was practically drenched in eel sauce which made it really salty. Besides the food, the setting and service were great! I would probably lay off on getting everything fried next time…

Pretty horrible rolls. I had a shrimp tempura roll, and not all the pieces even had shrimp in them. The ones that did had the most microscopic piece of shrimp, and maybe a touch of avocado at best. I basically paid for balls of rice. My husband had 2 rolls as well, and other than the fish on top, they barely had anything inside the roll. Again, might as well have just ordered rice. My dinner salad was basically soup. Soggy and disgusting. I would never recommend this place, and will never be returning.

i was pretty drunk when me and my friend came to this place. i don’t remember much but from what i did remember, it was pretty good! — octopus salad — they were thinly sliced octopus that was marinated with a ponzu like sauce. i really liked it! — tuna special — the sauce it came with was really really good! my favorite thing there that’s all i remember. lol. next time when i come back, i will be sober. — — — — — — — — — UPDATED: 02.19.16 Finally got a chance to come sober lol. — the tuna special wasn’t as great as I initially thought. The only tuna I like is bluefin toro. I do love the fact that it comes with avocado though What I liked: — octopus salad: once again, it was good — oyster shooter: very good. Better than I expected. No alcohol in here so there’s no biter taste — ghost roll: I don’t like rolls much but this one wasn’t that bad — scallops with sea salt: I like this in general. What was ehhh, okay: — sea bass carpaccio: this fish was kind of chewy. So it depends on if you like chewy fish or not. — nancy roll: this is kind of like the tuna special, but in a roll. — spicy dynamite roll: I like raw scallops more than cooked. Overall, this place was okay. Lesson of the day: everything tastes better drunk

I like everything I’ve had here. It used to be a little more reasonable, but they’ve upped the prices a little. Most of the 4 — 5 piece sushi rolls are a good deal. I would recommend the dynamite roll and the philly roll. The spicy yellowtail is good if you like a real kick. I would definitely recommend calling in as soon as they open on weekends! I’ve not been able to order a couple times because they get so busy that they turn off their phones!

Food is exceptional. People that come here are a little nuts, but that makes fun. Service is fast.
