Just Smogs Smog Check

This is now my go to place for getting smogs. Awesome staff, great customer service and a short wait. The waiting room is clean and inviting and it even has a charging station for your phone! Thanks guys!

Look no further! This is the place to get your car smogged! Having gone to various smog check places over the years, it it always an uncomfortable experience. Not here, this was a great overall experience. Called just before 9am, got a 9:20 appointment, arrived at 9:10 and was met with courtesy, friendliness and professionalism. A clean facility with nice reception and waiting area. Was out the door by 9:30 and with the Unilocal check in offer the least amount I have paid in years. No wonder they have been in business for 15 years.

It sounds silly to Unilocal about a smog check, but these guys are really great. I got a referral from a reliable source and now I owe him a beer because my experience didn’t suck at all, like it usually does at car places.

awesome customer service, the guys are super nice and efficient. in and out in 20 minutes. took my 4 year old who kept busy with toys and a huge chalk board in the waiting area. the best was my iPhone was about to die and they have 2 phone charging stations with iPhone and Samsung chargers!

Wow talk about speedy! Two cars with an appointment and we were done really fast. Clean premises, friendly, knowledgeable staff. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a smog check shop. Charging stations for all sorts of different mobile phones, candy, mints, and a place for kids to play. I checked in on a bunch of different smog shops in HB and they all were very iffy. Not this one. Even had a referral from a friend in addition to the Unilocal reviews. Well done guys! A++++ service! Took my car in to get a SMOG cert for out of state transfer. Under 20 mins, under $ 40 gets 5 stars for service and value. I herd them giving it a hell of a test with my loud exhaust! But it passed with flying colors! Awesome Guys and Helpful. Don’t hesitate to check them out!

Quick and professional. Definitely make an appointment. It’s something we have to do for our air and I’ll definitely recommend this shop to anyone needing a smog check. The waiting room was super nice but I prefer to take up the outside seats to soak up some sun instead. Thanks for the great service, keep it up.

This is the first time I had to get SMOG done on my car. I went in and dropped iff my paper work and keys, walked off and got a burger, came back after 20 minutes and it was done! Easy does it these guys are great.

In and out in 10 minutes, with my appointment. So quick, easy, comfortable and friendly environment. These guys make you feel like you WANT to get your smog check; I didn’t mind at all! John was also very informative regarding registration renewal and all that jazz. I’d definitely come back. I used the check-​in for $ 10 off and with that my total was $ 48. I’d recommend! :)

I’ve been coming to this place for years. These guys are still courteous, friendly and fast. They have an impeccable reputation as indicated on Unilocal.Place is still immaculate! Prices are great and if you check in with Unilocal,you get a $ 10 discount. If your car don’t pass, don’t blame it on them. They just run checks. If it doesn’t pass, they will help you find a place to get your repaired. Mine passed, woot, woot!
What amazes me is their family friendly waiting room. It’s rather large. They have a tv with Netflix on, free wifi, charging station complete with several wires to plug your device and an awesome coffee bar with real cups! Not those cheesy paper cups. Not going to lie, I had 2 cups of java. It was that good. :)

I wrote a review for Just Smogs 2 years ago when I was here using a Groupon. I’m happy to report that everybody here is still as friendly and helpful as ever.
The waiting area is so nice, probably as close to a living room feel as it gets. They put a lot of thought into little details, a play area for kids (which looks very nice, I’m comfortable laying my 3 month old baby down without worries) and they even put some disinfecting wipes there just in case. Books for older kids and magazines for adults. There is even a little charging station with different cell phone chargers.
The wait was very short and they had send me a $ 5 off coupon just in time for my registration renewal.
Now if only the DMV was that nice!

This place deserves a 5 star rating for a reason. The customer service here is impeccable, the service was quick, and the waiting room inviting. They are kid and pet friendly too– with activities and books for the children and bones for your pups. I will definitely be a returning customer.

Fast friendly and good rates. Best part is how dog friendly they are. I called to get a same day smog check and they got me in within the hour. I came in with my dog and noticed they have a water bowl and jar for dog treats. Another man came in with his adorable dog too so mine had a buddy while I waited. The waiting room was much cleaner than most mechanics.

I needed to get a smog check and wanted a referral vs trying to a random place. Heard of this place from my cousin and Unilocal.They have fabulous reviews plus from a reliable source, I thought I would give it a try.
Super friendly staff, clean, organized and fast. The waiting room is totally geared for people to be nice and comfy while they wait. Bored?! Watch TV! Have kids?! Play with toy cars. Phone dying?! Charging stations everywhere for any type of phones. Couldn’t bare to leave your dog alone?! No problem, treats and a bowl of water provided.
Check out was fast and easy! Highly recommend!

This place is a STAR smog check place. Every now and then, you’ll notice that your smog check must be done at a STAR smog place.
I found Just Smogs on Unilocal.It’s a little bit of a drive from Orange, but definitely worth it. The guys are all so friendly, and the place is clean & bright. I’ve been to a few places where you really don’t want to sit down and other places where, as a female, you’re nervous being there. Not at Just Smogs! They’re dog friendly too! Look for the trucks parked towards the street to find it.
There’s a lot of competition for smog service but at Just Smogs you can schedule an appointment online. They are fast! 20 mins and you are out of there. I highly recommend Just Smogs. You’ll get $ 10 off for a Unilocal check in otherwise when you set your appointment you’ll get a $ 5 off coupon. Oh, also they will email you a reminder and a coupon for the next time your car needs a smog check done!

Uhm, this place is awesome.
My husband found this place, and we took my car here to get a smog. They are super friendly and welcomed us warmly. You get a discount for checking in on Unilocal too :) My phone was acting up so I was not able to check in but I showed the guy and he said no worries he would give it to me anyways. That’s great customer service! I really value that. They have a waiting area that accommodates children as well! Our son loved playing with the toy cars and chalkboard a little too much lol. He actually started crying when we had to leave. Also have a charge station in this waiting room, which was handy because my phone battery was low. They finished my smog in no time! Thanks Just Smogs guys! Definitely recommend this place!

Just Smogs Smog Check is quick and very easy.
I came in, told them I had an appointment, (which I made online right before I came in) handed over my keys, registration renewal and form and 20 minutes later I was done.
My son had a great time playing in the kids lounge. He was even a bit disappointed that the car was done so quick because he didn’t get to play with everything.
They have charging stations for your phone, a TV and plenty to look at while you wait. Don’t forget to check in, they have a $ 10 off offer. The total for a smog was $ 48.00.

I called in for an appointment and Danny is so friendly and courteous on the phone!!! He took in my car even though I called 10 minutes to coming there! There was a problem with one part of my car from the past mechanic and Danny had like 10 guys checking on it to figure out the problem. He even went through the trouble of checking it out several times. I got credit to take it back for only $ 10 charge. The total for my Toyota Corolla 2003 was only $ 39.75. They even have me a $ 10 discount from Unilocal check-​in even before I asked!
