Easy Smog

I’ve been coming here for years and I had a wonderful experience there today (as always). They have free Wi-​fi so my son could watch Netflix while we waited. He only saw a few minutes of his movie because the test was so quick! The technician and the office manager were both friendly and helpful, I had great conversations with both of them today. Luckily, I have never failed a test here. $ 55 is a reasonable price for the speed and convenience. I’ll be back!

Love this place! Been coming here for about 6 years now and won’t ever go anywhere else. Fast service which is awesome for my busy lifestyle.

My family has been coming to Easy Smog for the past 12 years now and we highly recommend this place because they are really honest and care about their customers very much. They have always given us highly personalized attention and there was a time when one of our cars didn’t pass smog and they immediately suggested economical and trusted resources to take care of it. They are not like other smog testing places which are also offer auto repair where it seems like the immediate recommendation if you don’t pass the smog test is to change the entire transmission because it’s the most profitable for them.
With EasySmog, they don’t have that ulterior motive and they really want to make sure that auto issues are taken care of with less «invasive» procedures, saving you a lot of money and time. Michelle and her husband are small business owners operating their own business for 13 years and I have recommended many of my friends to them through the years who have all been very satisfied and grateful for their wonderful service. They are definitely 5-​Stars in my book!

Small mom and pop place… I have never had to wait more then 10 or 15 min before they got to my car. Price is fair and service is good. I have been going here for about 7 years now. No reason to go anywhere else

AVOID THIS SHOP LIKE THE PLAGUE! There are lots of places to get your car smogged; this is not the one. The technician dented the hood on my beloved show-​winning Maserati while I watched in horror! Then, to further salt the wound, his wife, who runs the office, insulted me by telling me it (somehow) wasn’t their fault and that they wouldn’t accept responsibility or pay to fix the damage they just did! It was unreal.
I’ve owned over 50 cars, and this was the worst smog experience I’ve ever had or heard of! I would give them a negative-​star rating, but it’s not offered, so I’m forced to give them 1 star that they didn’t earn.

It has been a long time since I had a car old enough to require a smog check. What to do? Asked a neighbor and he highly recommended this outfit, and I crosschecked it on Unilocal.Although only 2 reviews they were a 4 and 5 star.
I pull into the cramped U shape lot that is surrounded by several auto repair shops. Man, talk about being in bed with your enemy/​competitors. The owner/​mechanic was pulling in a vehicle ahead of me and gave me a big smile and a hearty wave. Friendly place eh?
Ah not so much. His (assuming) wife gave me a grumpy snort when I greeted her with an enthusiastic good morning. Pity the fool that has to put up with her at work and at home. She gruffly demands my documentation and pushes the paperwork back at me for my John Hancock. As I am signing, I swear to dog she picks her nose right in front of me. Hey! I saw that! What a precious little flower of a gal. Lovely.
Well the good news is that I was back on the road in 20 minutes, and only $ 55 poorer with my pass certificate in hand. The true payoff: Deli-​licious is just up the street!
And the little misses even flashed a smile and gave thanks. Once she had my money anyway, and I made sure not to shake her hand.

In & out in less than 10 minutes. The proprietors were very friendly. Far better than expected, I mean who really looks forward to getting their car smogged?

I went on google and searched for a smog place that was in Huntington Beach and decided to give Easy Smog a try. I have a larger car than the average consumer so I get rejected at several smog stations but it’s not their fault. I visited Easy Smog’s website and it stated that they’ll smog virtually any vehicle. Upon my arrival, they greeted me and did exactly as advertised. I was in and out in about 10 minutes (with an over-​sized vehicle– incredible!)! Highly recommended!
