Delicious food! We have been there so many times and are never disappointed. Food is excellent, they have the best quality Chinese food around. We have known them for many years and can’t there often enough! Everyone we bring there loves it too and they always want to back

Went here for lunch specials, they didn’t have what we wanted for lunch. Only for dinner. So we asked if they could do it and first they said no then we said we were leaving then they said okay. When the food came there was literally like 5 small pieces of tofu and 3 pieces of broccoli. That was the smallest lunch portion I’ve ever seen or had. We also had the sesame sauce dumplings. The dumplings were steamed and were all stuck to each other and when we tried to separate them they all broke and the filling came out. They were so bad, the worst dumplings I ever had.

Looking for Chinese takeout, I read a few reviews of different places and most were decent so chose Albert’s. Have walked by it many times and said to my wife that I didnt have a good«gut» feeling – should have listened! All good as I walked in and the manager shook my hand(nice, right?). The cashier had the order right and was pleasant as I paid. Got home hungry and excited to share the meal with the family. All the dishes and sauces were there. Layed it all out. Thats as good as it got. The spare ribs were so dry one of my kids wouldnt touch them. THe moo shu pork was bland and the hoisin sauce was bitter(how do you ruin that?); the veggie lo mein was terrrible: the noodles round(they should be flat) and the veggies were droopy as if they were left overs reheated; the orange chicken was ok, but even the broccoli was as the veggies above, soggy. The best of the lot was the steamed white rice of which I had a few bites of with chili sauce. Having a cast iron stomach(lived in Thailand), nothing bothers it. 15 minutes after the above I felt like I had eaten KFC, which is the only food that predictably gives me a stomach ache. Would have given a one star, but my 6 yo daughter said they worked hard to cook the food for us and that we should be thankful. So I am thankful to have a full belly of crappy food, which I overpaid for. Didnt even save any for chinese leftover omelet!

Food is okay. Egg rolls could use improvement. Décor is a bit«dark», waiter, I heard someone refer to him as(Dave?), made a few crude remarks, in trying to entice us to order additional dishes. Remarks were uncalled for, and would give me pause, before returning. No one needs a nasty attitude, when they go out for an enjoyable evening.

Great friendly service. Yummy food — fresh. Spic n span bathrooms. All in all a good place for a date n convo. Not too rowdy or crowded.

I was here for a baby shower and not ten minutes there, my friend and I sat down at a table against the wall and a large roach began crawling up the wall. I really didn’t want my the hostess to be embarrassed and her guests to start freaking out, so I tossed my napkin at the wall and tried to smush the bug without anyone seeing. It was quite the scene. Needless to say, my friend and I were totally grossed out. I didn’t eat anything after that, so I can’t even comment on the food. The expecting mama was happy with the shower and she had a lovely experience dealing with them, but I’m sure if she knew about my experience she would feel differently. I’ll never tell her though! Will not be back after that.

Food quality and favors have changed since renovation. Still better than most take out restaurants around but not as good as it once was

Lousy service. Table set with dirty silverware. Fried noodles that are served before dinner were obviously left-over from someone else’s table. Waited forever for the waiter to take our order. Once dishes were served, two were forgotten and it took 10 minutes before they were delivered. Water not refilled. Hot tea in pot not refilled. Dirty plates left on the table. Waited forever for the check. Ultimately spent far too much money on below average tasting food.

Awful, greasy egg rolls, garlicky lomein, the chicken in the sesame chicken was for lack of any other word«disgusting» like rubber I can’t even tell you what part of the chicken this came from. My daughter said her soup had a taste she just couldn’t get past to eat. We had asked for extra duck sauce, they gave us one tiny container half full with maybe 3 tablespoons for 4 people. We will not return.

Got takeout last night and was not impressed. My wife said«how do you screw up chicken and Broccoli? but they did it was fishy tasting… weird right? One of the bags of chirpy noodles was very stale. Steamed pork Buns were good, but they were all smushed and were more balls than buns. Steamed veggie dumplings also tasted off. Orange chicken was fine. I will give them another chance in the future as I have enjoyed it in the pat, and really wanted it to still be good.

Very nice place! Went after a family event, and they had no problem handling a 6 top with no reservation. Highlights — Hot and Sour Soup — BESTINMYLIFE! Rich bone broth, 2 different mushrooms, just enough heat to Lemon Chicken — tender, flaky crust, and crazy glowing lemon sauce. Moo Shu Pork — flavorful, with just enough Hoisin sauce. Excellent service. They even had super-fresh fortune cookies!

It is really tough to find an old fashioned Chinese restaurant like the ones I used to go to when I was a kid. My parents wanted to eat at such a place and I finally found one that met their expectations. The noodles, the hot tea, the sauces and the old standby Chinese entrées. Everything was excellent. We had egg drop soup, shrimp with lobster sauce, chicken with broccoli, Sesame chicken. I had sushi that was very good. I would highly recommend this place for people that are looking for an old-fashioned Chinese restaurant and not a take-out or Chinese buffet.

Best Chinese food in Huntington. Dine in or take out Albert’s is delicious. After moving to the area recently, we had to try lots of places to replace our old go to spots. So far Albert’s is it. Mr. Albert is always walking around the restaurant and very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I eat at Albert’s at least once a week. After more than 13 years, we still are dazzled by the freshness of the food in every dish. The ribs are meaty and tender with a well balanced flavor. The soups are delicious and served hot. My husband says Albert’s makes the best Hot and Sour soup. And, if you like rice noodles with small tender shrimp, fresh red peppers and onions and oriental vegetables, it is light, the sauce is delicious and the portions give you enough to give you something to take home.

First the disaster; they failed to tightly cover one of the soups in our takeout bag. This caused the liquid to settle in the bottom of the shopping bag causing the bag to break under the weight of the rest of our food. Fortunately nothing else was ruined but it took us about 10 minutes to put everything back together to be able to bring it in the house. Thus, the food would really have to blow me away to get me to recommend it. It failed to do so. Most of the dishes were pretty tasteless… no oomph whatsoever. On the other hand the hot and sour soup was not only too spicy but was extremely thick and not in a good way. One dish I would recommend is their boneless spare ribs. This dish was great. Most places slice up some of the greasiest and ugliest pork and serve it just like that. The boneless spare rib dish here both looked and tasted good. It was thickly sliced and degreased giving it a real good visual and tasty too like a pork steak. I would go back just for that dish. In fact, I would go back only for that dish. If you are taking out from there, do your due diligence and make sure everything is covered.

Ok, not great, but mainly because I didn’t do what I should have done(ummm, order Chinese food in a Chinese restaurant!!!) and decided to go for the sushi. There are MUCH better choices for sushi on just about every block of Huntington Village(still can’t get used to that… My old stomping grounds have gotten soooooo… je né sais quois/fancy-pants, international!!) If you’re in a Chinese restaurant(dummy!!) order Chinese food! My mom was smart and went for a medium spiced chicken shrimp veggie mix that looked and smelled as good as it tasted. My sister and I ordered a little bit of this and a little bit of that off the sushi menu to share, and while our sushi was totally acceptable, we both spent most of our time picking off our poor mom’s plate! Check out the extensive menu and reviews here… It’s updated«old school» Chinese, and though pricier than what I’m used to in «average» Chinese restaurants, they’ve been around forever for a reason! Ohhhhh, and don’t go to Pancho Villa’s down the street looking for top notch Greek food, smarty pants! ;-)

This is the second time we have eaten at Albert’s Mandarin and our experience harkens back to the Chinese Emporiums of my youth. Mei Tings and Sun Ming. I can even draw parallels to Wo Fats of Hotel Street, Honolulu. From the light, delicate wontons in the full bodied wonton soup to the massive spare ribs, the appetizers whetted our appetite for the shrimp and chicken entrees our table ordered. The menu is extensive and includes a sushi and sashimi section. We look forward to further exploration. Worth mentioning is owner Albert walking the floor, schmoozing with the diners and making sure things run smoothly. Last night, my friends and I tried the Sushi menu and were even more delighted. A heavy recommendation to try Albert’s!

I love Albert’s! I agree with everyone else when they say it’s a traditional Chinese restaurant. I only get chinese food takeout from here… I love their shrimp lo mein! It’s a little bit pricey but you will have left overs!
