Ehh. Fair. Their fries are excellent, BUT, for a place that’s supposed to feature Hot dogs,(and a hot dog is relatively hard to mess up) I think it’s just fair. Pretty simple, great quality hog dog(for 4 bucks) fresh soft bun, and fresh ingredients. I think the hot dogs aren’t the best quality, and I had a few stale(ish) buns. Meanwhile, the fries are exceptional and could prob. Eat a whole bucket of them. Up your quality Bad Dawgs, a hot dog is a beautiful thing, you should have it mastered.

Walked into Bad Dawgs pretty excited for a good meal. Was totally let down. The place is VERY small so plan on taking that dog to go. The bun was not toasted and tasted like your average store bought bun. The dog itself had no snap or crunch to it and tasted like they just took it out of some boiling water then right onto the bun. Maybe they think that dropping 7 toppings on top of it will cover up for the poor bun and dog? Nope. It doesn’t. How do you have a restaurant where the base of everything on the menu is a hot dog… and the worst part is the hot dog? Wack. The kicker was that the dog was close to $ 5. I could have gotten a better dog at 7 – 11 for a dollar. Oh well.

Bad Dawgs is friendly and my order was correct. Their hot dawgs were really good, love the different options and that they are named after dogs. I had the hot dawg with chili and cheese on it. Tasted pretty good, the chili was not overly spicy. But I think their fries were the best part of the meal. Perfectly crispy and salty, some may want no salt on their fries, but I feel that they make the perfect fries. They also have these cups of beans and hot dogs, which brings me back to childhood memories. They also make hamburgers, which I will try next time I order from them.

I was very excited to try this place as both my wife and daughter love hot dogs. There were a variety of types of hot dogs as well as toppings. However, the hot dog we had was bland & boring… which does not even measure up to a Sabrett pushcart in NYC! There were a variety of toppings. We chose saurkraut(nothing special). All in all I don’t think I would go back.

The place was clean and bright, the service was friendly and the food was good and fast. I had the St. Bernard(chili, coleslaw and cheese) and my husband had a Dalmatian(chili and cheese). Both tasted great and had plenty of toppings. I got sweet potato fries, which came with some awesome maple dipping sauce and my husband got regular fries which were a little over salted but super fresh and hot. Wish they had more seating(only a couple of stools inside and one outside table taken with I think the owner or manager), but the dogs were good so we’ll definitely be back.

A very extensive menu for a hot dog stand. I think I spent more time looking at the menu that eating the food. Super creative hot dogs with options to change your regular hot dog to kosher, organic, vegetarian and a few other options. I ordered the German hot dog which comes with spicy mustard and sauerkraut. I also ordered the french fries. The fries were very crispy, salty and hot. The hot dog was very good too with plenty of the toppings and soft, fresh bread. The bill was $ 8.00(soda inclusive). A little pricey when I can get a hot dog in the city for $ 2.00 but being able to sit outside with my own dog and eat a well served, cooked hot dog, fries and good service from the teenagers behind the counter will bring me back here when in the mood for another one.

The absolute best place for a hot dog!!! they have anything you can think of on a bun. This place is great for the kids and great to eat while watching a football game. It also is located in a great town were you can walk and enjoy your day.

Come here expecting a traditional hot dog experience, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find chili, beans, cheese and other mostly traditional toppings available in a plethora of combinations, come here expecting a smörgåsbord of unique regional hotdogs(sonoran dog, slaw dog, half-smoke, etc) and you are in for a big disappointment. I tried the Labrador(yes all of the dawgs are named for actual dogs) which was one of the few non-bean dogs — with sauerkraut, onions, mustard — it was pretty standard, the hotdog did have a nice snap when bitten and the toppings were good. The bun and toppings altogether though are nothing special. I found the dog theming kitchy and goofy, but maybe it attracts the kiddos?

high expectations prove to send you to a downward spiral heartbreak. i was excited to see this store being built as i was really expecting something like the calibre of Crif Dogs in NYC. sigh. you see, i usually dont give 2 stars(and im a pretty balanced reviewer). on a saturday afternoon, when there was a small line, the service was slow, and my fries were soggy that the load really was more of a mess than a great feast. true, i couldnt pick up my dog, because i got the chow chow — but there really wasnt a balance of tastes. all i tasted was the chili, not much of the bacon and the rest of the toppings was garnish at best. granted that they have been only open for two weeks, i could forgive the slow service(then again, this is long island, so i shouldnt be comparing the speed in nyc — no offense) but really? soggy fries?! for 5 bucks?! it wasnt even love at first sight when i saw my loaded fries. it is disappointing to note that the loaded fries at the drive in checkers is better. cheaper too. ill probably be back, but im gonna get my dawg naked — the fluff they put on isnt worth the calories to ingest. if this really was a BADDAWG, why isnt there a bacon wrapped dog?! bacon bits dont make a dawg bad. even if its real it still doesnt make it bad. tsk tsk. they dont have seating(that’s not a bad thing) so diner beware.

I had the Chow Chow Dawg(chili, lettuce, tomato, real bacon bits, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream and hot sauce), GF had the Dalmatian Dawg(chili and shredded cheddar cheese). We got them within a couple minutes of ordering them at the counter. Everything about both of them were excellent. The chili was very tasty on its own, as were the hot dogs themselves. Both of them were smothered in their respective toppings, and that’s where the problem came — no forks given to us! I could barely pick mine up and when I managed to, as much got on my hands and back on my plate as in my mouth! But other than that, it was excellent! The french fries we got could have been a little fresher and well-done but I’ll attribute that to opening-day issues and try them again another time. The main event(hot dogs/dawgs) were delicious and can certainly be highly recommended. Note that there is zero seating, and only a counter to stand at.
