I stopped in to FH Riley’s with a friend for lunch recently on a beautifully warm day for early March. The store front was open with tables outside. We sat at the bar taking in the light breeze. It was a very welcoming relaxed atmosphere. Locals were in for lunch. Most seemed to know the staff and visa versa. My friend asked Jay who was behind the bar if he could make her a cucumber martini? Although it’s more of a summery drink, he obliged happily and made her a killer martini. Made with Freshly chopped cucumber, gin and basil. She said it was the best cucumber martini she’s ever had! If they don’t put it on their drink menu. they’re crazy! We ordered and shared the Fresh Mozzarella panini with zucchini styx. Delicious with fresh ingredients. Plenty for 2 women to share. The staff was friendly, we weren’t rushed. A nice way to spend a weekday afternoon catching up with a friend.

We went there before a show at the Paramount. Although they don’t take reservations, they do call ahead seating which really helped us out. It was freezing cold out when we happened to visit and since the restaurant is on the smaller side so when ever the door would open the bar would freeze– but I guess the booze helps to fix that! We were sat after minimal wait time. The food and the service were great. It was an all around good time.

Good food. Service is spotty. Blue claw gumbo is very good. A very nice selection of beers on tap. We used to be regulars but they have recently lost a «star» do to some inconsistencies with food and their Achilles heel in service. Still a good bet.

Great place to meet up with your friends for dinner for high end american food and also the bar selection for mixxed drinks. Been here a bunch of times and tried tons of things off the menu from salads to burgers everything has always been on point and very acomidating for large crowds

My boyfriend and I went to F.H. Riley’s this past weekend and it was great! The bartenders were super friendly & the spiked lemonade was perfect. I always order a spinach dip if I see it on a menu and I am usually disappointed, but let me say that Riley’s has the best spinach dip I have EVER had! I have tried dozens of different places in the area and nothing comes close to this! The décor is cute, it wasn’t too busy(Saturday around 4pm), and there was a friendly crowd. Definitely one of the best bars to check out in the village.

Ordered a steak sandwich and calamari which were both pretty good. The steak sandwich the better of the two, cooked perfectly with a nice dipping sauce. Service was friendly and courteous. Unfortunately had a nice surprise when our beverages totaled $ 22 dollars for the night. Two kids juices and(a surprise non refillable) iced tea and seltzer banged us for a whopping $ 3.60 per iced tea!!! And 3.50 for a mostly soda water and Cranberry? Yowsas. Food was great. But at that price for a brewed tea would have liked a heads up that it was no refills(or that it maybe was brewed with golden tea bags) I mean, wow! I didn’t catch the non alcoholic beverage prices printed on the menu, I should have paid better attention considering it accounted for more than 20% of our bill. Either way. Food was reasonably priced, but just tap water next time.(I hope there’s no charge for that)

We came in for dinner and was disappointed. My friend ordered a burger well done and it came out medium at best. She wasn’t happy with the taste of it. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich but the chicken was dry and lacking in seasoning. The fries were ok but nothing special. My friend also didn’t like her drink. No complaints on the staff as they were friendly and courteous. My friend spoke to the manager about it and he took care of us. We will give it another shot and try something else off the menu but I think some changes should be made. It’s very nice inside, clean.

Excellent for happy hour or late dinner after a show at the Paramount. I’ve also had a nice lunch there with my family. I love to go there for the St. Patrick’s parade and I take my kids to trick or treat on Halloween. The owner is so nice and you can tell he loves Huntington… he even dresses up for Halloween. I’m happy to hear they’re opening another restaurant in East Northport. The food and drinks are fantastic. They deliver too! I can’t wait to go back!

I totally love this place. Many years ago I went there with my fiancé and he told me about it. We drove all the way there from NJ and it was so worth the traffic. The owner heard we were getting married and he took care of our bill. Every chance we get we always go out there. My husband and I love their food and will always have great memories there. Love you guys keep up the great work.

Chose because it has a few tables on sidewalk. Had dog with us so outdoor dining required. Service poor but food excellent. Owner/manager recognized poor service and bought us a round of drinks.

People have been telling me to try this place for months. I finally gave it a try and I am so glad I did! Such a charming atmosphere with a friendly attentive staff. We had the hot 3 cheese spinach dip to start. The dip was fresh, cheesy and full of flavor. This chips were crispy and salted just right. My husband ordered the blue claw gumbo. The portion was big and full of seafood, chicken and lots of sausage. He was nervous to order this because he is super picky with how rice is cooked. He loved it and said the rice was cook perfectly. I tried some and I would definitely order this when we go next time. I ordered the Cobb salad and added grilled chicken to it. Another large portion. The veggies were all fresh and the bacon was nice and crisp. My mom ordered the mac and cheese. Omg it was amazing. I tried some and was almost(almost because my salad was pretty perfect) sad I didn’t get that instead. We didn’t have any dessert this time because we were all stuffed but their selction looked good so we will have to try that next time.

When you walk into FH Riley’s on a sunny weekend afternoon, it feels as new and exciting as a restaurant that opened last week. You see people who look almost as if they could have been lining up at the door on opening day, the mix of customers gives the traditional bar-and-grill a sketchy appearance. On my visit the food sent my stomach churning. Service was cursory and inefficient, with the waiter splashing water every time they poured a torrent of liquid into the glasses. When our server picked up the largely uneaten burger, he said nothing. I think he knew the problem and didn’t have to ask. The food was barely edible, even the classic hamburger that seemed thrown onto the plate. The patty was unseasoned; the fries were cold. In fact, nothing we had was particularly good, The salmon pita tasted like soggy crackers flecked with red pepper, and the accompanying salad had no dressing other than a spoonful of what tasted like salsa. The Caesar salad was poorly dressed and didn’t have the shrimp I requested. The farfale were hard-cooked and stale, possibly just re-heated frozen food? The bread was limp and soggy. The desert we got had a thick gooey topping that you could tell by looking shouldn’t have been served without more time in the oven. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say it was the worst food I’ve had in 2015. Yet it’s clear that the restaurant is still a vibrant part of the city. My advice it to stick to a beer at the bar.

Food is delicious! I had the salmon pita. Very tasty and generous portion. The only reason I’ll give them 3 stars is for the misleading information on Unilocal.Says delivery is available but every time I call there’s no delivery person available. It’s quite frustrating. I’m assuming you no longer offer delivery? You should update your info!

I really loved this place, one of my favorite restaurants on the Huntington strip. I ordered the hippie juice for a pre-dinner drink, and it was so friggin good and refreshing. For dinner I ordered a salad, and that was pretty good as well. Great service, great ambiance, and great food for a good price. Definitely check this place out if you’re looking for a place to eat in Huntington.

We have been dining at Riley’s since we moved to Huntington years ago and what I love best is the consistency! It’s always ahhmazing! The food, the staff and the ambiance is always awesome! But the other day I discovered something new — they have the best wings ever!!! Seriously –look no further Huntington –the best wings in Huntington are right here @ FH Riley’s! The Szechwan wings are my fav! And they make a mean sangria!!!

Rileys is truly as good as it gets. You won’t find a better American restaurant on Long Island. Everything on the menu is insanely delicious, to the point where it’s kind of addictive. The type of delicious that just thinking about their soups, salads, sandwiches, gumbo, meatloaf, calamari, bolognese, steak(i can go on forever), etc. propels me into a state in which all time and space are suspended, and all that is left is pure euphoric, flavorful, mouthwatering bliss. Coming back to reality, some of my all-time favorites are the Autumn Harvest Salad, their soups of the day, Chicken Spring Rolls, Wings, Cali Chicken Club, Salmon Pita, Gumbo, Meatloaf, Steak Sandwich, and let’s not forget their mac-n-cheese(easily the best within the entire cosmos). I should mention that all their desserts are homemade and freakin mind-boggingly scrumptious. I can’t tell you how many times I go to a restaurant and have an awesome appetizer and entrée and then the dessert is some defrosted bullshite probably shipped in from who-knows-where and it tastes like styrofoam and expired cottage cheese. Not so with Rileys, these desserts are ineffably delightful. Chocolate mousse cake, oreo cheesecake, key lime mousse torte, oh man. Everything is super fresh, and you can really taste the difference. The attention-to-detail and the flavors in all of the food and drinks are really exceptional. The prices are more than reasonable too, especially considering the quality of the food and the location. Lastly, the service is phenomenal. This is a true family-run business and it’s evident through the personable, friendly, accommodating, and attentive service and staff members. They really go above and beyond and it’s a pleasure. To top it off, being able to get take-out, curbside pick-up, or even delivery from Rileys is awesome and a far far better alternative to anywhere else I can think of who does take-out, let alone delivery. Rileys is a gem, can’t wait til their new location opens!!!

So this was my first time trying fh rileys From the beginning I had a bad taste in my mouth unfortunately due to the fact the girl on the phone was extremely rude and curt. I had ordered the steak sandwich with Zucchini and regular fries for pickup. Upon arriving the same girl had come out to bring me my food I had told her to have a good day and she simply walked away. .. Which bothered me even further Now about the food. The zucchini fries were not crisp, the regular fries were way over salted. The steak sandwich was over cooked and the bread was extremely soggy. Sad to say I am extremely disappointed and will not be returning

I was NOT expecting the food to be as good as it was. I’ve taken out food from here a few times for lunch. My go to was the grilled veggie salad with sliced steak on top. The veggies were fresh and HOT on crispy lettuce and dressing on the side. Half portion is PLENTY. It was hard for me to choose something else because I love that salad so much, but the other day I got the blackened Salmon pita with sweet potato stix. O. EM. GEE. It was one of those dishes that are so good, that you can’t stop eating, but want to stop eating because you are getting so full, but you literally can’t put it down… then after you’re done, you feel like crap because you ate so much, but it was sooooo worth it. Does that happen to any one else?!?
