I went to this place last weekend with a friend. After seeing the reviews I decided to check it out. As someone who has ventured to other sushi restuarants on Long Island that are all you can eat based, this is the only place that I’ve been to that does it under categories in price. For example, you’re limited to certain dishes off the menu depending on what you pay for. So if you pay for the first option(cheapest) of all you can eat, there’s only a certain amount of dishes you can choose from. If you choose the second option for all you can eat(which is a few dollars more), then you can eat the more exquisite dishes such as sushi pieces without the rice. I’m not a big fan of this because other places I’ve been to allow you to eat anything you want off the menu under one price. They should keep it to one price overall for everything off the menu. The quality of the fish is decent here, and the staff were very pleasant during my first experience. What keeps me from giving them 5 stars is the limitation of the menu and the explanation that came with trying to understand what dishes were under which pricing category. The place is also very small. Probably about 5 tables altogether that could sit a max of 14 – 15 people. So if you like to eat in a place to where you can have a nice conversation without someone next to you eavesdropping, then I’d probably suggest another place. It was pretty quiet when we were eating. Overall I’d come back again, mainly to experience the higher priced all you can eat special.

Pass by this place a few time. Was having a sushi craving so decided to stop by. They had plenty of lunch special and all you can eat deal. I stuck to my guns and got an Eel chef special called Volcano. It was DELICIOUS. Also had a side seaweed salad. Crispy and cold just the way I like it. With so much to choose on menu, I will be back to satisfy my sushi cravings!!! Two Thumbs Up!

First time, great time. Got the all-you-can-eat for $ 16– rolls had more rice than I am accustomed to, but for the price it can’t be beat! Very eclectic atmoshpere– oldies music covered by some no-name band, coca cola malt glasses, old plastic dishes but. if you’re looking for budget sushi with fresh fish, try it out!

Jimmys Happy Sushi! Yup, exactly! Looks more like a take out place so don’t expect any ambience just the warmest and friendliest people working there and straight up good food!

The fish here are so fresh. The service is great, the elderly man is super nice and answered all the questions i had. I had the summer roll and it was amazing. The store is small inside so there isnt much room to eat. I’ll be coming back to try all their other sushi

Love this place! Friendly owners and chef, and less than $ 20 for all you can eat sushi?!? Can’t beat that! Sushi is fresh just not as fancy(or pricey) as most places in Huntington. Definitely a hidden gem.

For a quick, inexpensive sushi fix, this is a decent place. It feels more like your dime-a-dozen Chinese take out joints than a real sushi bar, though. No décor and very limited seating, the menus look like they’ve been used for 20 years, the chopsticks are wood. You wouldn’t come here to meet a friend, it’s almost too casual. Definitely no dates! The waitress was very friendly, which is always a plus, and the service was quick. I ordered 3 kappa maki rolls and my partner got the dragon roll. They were okay – they lacked the kind of fresh small to the rice and seaweed that makes sushi superior, but I would come again. Cash only.

We stopped in for lunch, I had some reservations because the prices were very tempting. It was great though, very delicious and presentation of the rolls was 5 stars. My only complaint is they don’t sell alcohol and only take cash. Overall great sushi though, I would go back for takeout any time, just make sure you have cash.

First off this is a cash only … This is tiny place with about 4 tables seating for maybe 10 people sushi chef right there you can watch him work his craft very friendly waiter love how they serve the hot tea in a big glass with the tea bag they also have real Japanese bottled tea its so good too we were offered a yummy little treat appetizer of friend fish nice fresh salad good ginger dressing the waiter understood we wanted avocado rolls with no seaweed and didnt charge extra to make them as such nice tasty fresh spicy tuna and salmon roll superior ell sauce with a little bit of a spicy bite so good prices are very fair its in such an unassuming little strip of stores but go on in its worth it

Very reasonable prices for pretty good sushi. I usually get my take out sushi from here. They are quick and even if you call 5 minutes before they are closing they will wait for you to come pick it up. I’ve even sat down for meals here before too. The waitress is very nice and I often get complimentary hot sake and shrimp tempura pieces. Very friendly. Small but quaint. No complaints. I would recommend this place to all sushi eaters.

I thought I had had the best sushi in Huntington, having tried some high-send and highly recommended places around the area, BUT I WASWRONG! I am just not a sushi person, but I think I might be now *-* it was amazing, and so, SO fresh! And those prices! So reasonable for sushi! The service was also very friendly: D I really liked them a lot! If you love sushi you HAVE to try here!

My boyfriend has eaten here more than a few times and raved about it so we got some sushi last nite. I dont eat it often, but i was far from impressed. He eats sushi often and was beyond disappointed. The sashimi looked like it was all cut from the same fish, even though he’d ordered 3 different types and was barely edible. He ended up tossing all of it after spitting out the first bite. The sweet potato roll and spicy tuna roll were decent, but the other rolls barely had any flavor and the eel was flat out disgusting. The kani salad barely had a taste to it and the spicy mayo was just spicy colored stuff, it was not appetizing at all. It was totally dead in there when we ordered to go, so i wondered if that was a bad sign. By the time we left, there were several people there. In the past my boyfriend ordered from here regularly, but this trip was so disappointing that we will not be returning.

Fair pricing and excellent quality. Staff is awesome, always friendly. Always consistent. I look forward to when I can stop by for lunch. Have had others in the area and nothing compares. They also keep the place clean which to me is a must.

Cash Only! Great prices for decent sushi. I had to give it 5 stars because I adore the people who work there –while I do not personally know them, they are adorable and friendly. They sometimes give you something extra) and offer great service. It’s more of a take out place but they do have a seating area in case you want to sit in for lunch and they are very accommodating and do their best to serve you well. I have been here at least 3x and dined 2x and would recommend trying it out :]

Absolutely one of the best! Sushi/sashimi is low price but high for quality and portion, less than $ 20 will get you a whole lot farther than most other sushi places. They are also extraordinarily friendly as far as service goes. I take out here multiple times in a week because you can’t beat their overall selection and portion for the price! I’ve had sushi at every other place in Huntington and this is top 3 easily.

Fantastic little sushi bar on Jericho TPike. Extremely(I know, strange way to describe sushi, but you’ll understand) fresh! Very nice staff; professional operation. Only thing at all keeping me from giving 5 stars was cost — little pricey for the specialty rolls. Other pricing very reasonable though.

This place is great for casual eats. The sushi is the freshest I’ve ever had, and if you dine in free sake. They always gives free app too. Delicious fresh food, free sake, what more could you want! I love dining here.

This place is a bit hidden in small strip mall on Jericho Turnpike, but well worth it versus the other sushi options in the area because of the quality and price(I’ve been to all of them). I’ve had a number of their sashimi pieces and specialty rolls. Everything has always been generous in portion and extremely fresh. The restaurant is very small and plain, with a handful of tables and a sushi bar. It’s best for take out, but I’ve also ate in and the service is very good. They even offered us free sake during our meal both times we were there. Highly recommend!
