This wine store’s weekly wine tastings are the reason why we started dining at the restaurant Joanina next door. Here’s why: The Food: there is none. well, unless you count the various crudités served during the wine tastings. The Drink: the wine tastings are excellent, and the selection is far superior to the restaurant’s offerings. It’s a shame that the restaurant does not offer the same wines as are available in the store. Beware: as another Unilocaler has mentioned, you CAN purchase a bottle of wine from the store after it has closed to have with your meal at the restaurant. HOWEVER, they will charge you a corkage fee, which is absurd. Anyway, we have always had a lot of fun at the tastings, and usually leave the store spending way more than we intended on various bottles. Lucky for us, they offer a frequent buyer card, which eventually leads to a free bottle of wine. Winning! The Service: very friendly, very knowledgeable The Ambiance: it’s a wine store. So, it’s kinda like heaven.

Great little wine shop attached to Joanina Restaurant next door. They feature a lot of the wines from the restaurant so if you like something you had during dinner you can pick up a bottle and bring it home! They are open late and have tastings of new wines almost every Friday. Several times I have missed the closing time and the owner has let me in and let me purchase a bottle. The place is small so you might not find everything you are looking for but the owners are knowledgeable and there are wines in every price range.

After all the hiccups of opening a new place, the wine store finally moved into the restaurant location just around the corner from this locale at Joanina’s Restaurant.
