Excellent pizza served to you with an outstanding and friendly counter staff that go out of their way to make you feel like you’re appreciated, pizza is always fresh and a great selection of specialty slices as well to choose from. As well I have had their sit down lunch several times and was not let down, solid, solid, solid choice for some good pizza or sit-down.

Always wanted to give this places try. Was not happy with the service with the two lady’s working there last night. They were rude and unfriendly. Never took our drink orders or anything. We decided not to dine in after the way they treated us. Maybe one day we will come back and give this place another try.

I just stopped in for a fast slice and can’t comment on the sit down dinner are. The slice was surprisingly good(I think I’m just numb as Kona K notes there are 5 – 6 pizza places in a mile radius… I would go back

Porto Fino is the perfect go to lunch spot in Huntington. The lunch specials are at a good price rate but if you get anything extra they over charge like crazy. The pizza slices are also overpriced but good.

This is the B E S T pizza in town. No need to open MORE pizza spots in HUNTINGTON. All full. Pick another location guys. For some WEIRD reason — NEW lame pizza parlours keep opening here! Why? I think I counted 5 or 6 now all together within a ONEMILE range ! This would be like if The Beatles were playing a concert at one spot in town and then Sonny Bono(without Cher) plays a concert right across the street — while Seals and Crofts and Men Without Hats drive by and think of having a concert that same night down the block. WTF are all these OTHER pizza guys thinking?! Porto Fino is the King of Pizza in Huntington !(O.K. Maybe Rosa’s Pizza is The Rolling Stones… but Porto Fino is The Beatles of PIZZA! Little Vincents is the Vanilla Ice of Pizza– nasty sh*t-heads)

I put 5 stars because 4 isn’t enough and there are more things to like than not like. I’m a cook so I tend to be more critical about food. So this place is in the 90+ category for me. Long Islanders must be in love with garlic because all the Italian places use it to excess. Oddly, in Italy you don’t taste or see much of it, hence its a New York phenom. Best pizza in Huntington, all types, bar none. Little Vincent’s smells better than it tastes, Rosas workers treat you like it’s your privilege to be there and the pizza is just ok, Gino’s is chain store food and Juniors is not worth even mentioning. The dinners here are worth the money, plentiful and delicious if not authentic complete with an abundance of the aforementioned garlic. More is less in this case, careful to pick it out lest your friends, family and others know what you ate last night if not where. Monday is pasta night and a helluva deal for $ 12.95. Plenty of choices and dessert thrown in if you have room, I never do. For an informal meal, great service, decent pricing, do not pass this place up. There is something great for everybody here. You can eat here everyday for a month and not have the same meal.

Food was OUTSTANDING! Bartender Tim gave us excellent recommendations — mixed seafood over linguine in white sauce, and calamari fra Diablo — were excellent. Pineapple infused vodka was worth the trip alone! Service was above and beyond. Made me feel like I had been a patron for YEARS. An underrated hidden gem… One of the best in the village… Seriously.

I’ve been a Huntington resident for over a year now and for some reason I never got around to checking this place out. My wife recently heard good things about Porto Fino and suggested we go there. Being a south shore transplant I was completely hesitant. Most of the Italian food in the Huntington area is mediocre at best. Let me just say that this place is hands down one of my favorite Italian food spots right now. Food is absolutely amazing! The service is incredible(thanks Natasha!) and atmosphere is perfect for a delicious Italian meal. Best of all they are kid friendly and more than willing to accommodate requests. I’m really loving Porto Fino right now. Don’t pass up the opportunity to check this place out and don’t forget to ask about the specials!

Went in with a large party last night. Everyone was happy with their meals. Service was good. Drinks came fast. Prices were great. Another LI Italian joint that needlessly serves huge sides of pasta that will be my lunch today. We ordered at 9:30 after their dinner rush. Ticket times were slow(45 min for entrees) which would be excusable for a party of 12 if it wasn’t so empty. Stick with the basics: Picatta, Marsala, Rollotini… you won’t be dissatisfied

Some modern day pizzas have taken on unconventional identities of unique toppings. Mushroom, sausage, black olives anchovies and such have been in semi retirment as the new guard of buffalo, bacon, fig, pineapple, bbq chicken have rapidly taken a firm hold on pizzas present and future. I held firm for too long with the notion, that most any and all topping outside of the above mentioned standards, as good as they may be, just ain’t pizza. Thankfully, my tune has since changed. The mere mention of calamari fried pizza had me rip a hard left, into Porto Fino regardless of the direction of my friends and our intended destinations. «Your a day early or six days late» came blurring from behind the counter. Panning the staff I immediately knew it was Italians making the pizza additionally, the exclaimer was idenyified who, I’m heavily assuming was the owner. My people cooking my food with passion, fully vested. I thought to myself, «I’d bet dollars to dougnuts, any order would have the ‘Italian love of cooking, in each and every bite’. Ordering the pesto earned yours truely some creds, as I didn’t call it ‘green stuff’ or ask some such uninformed question. Danned if the cheese itself didn’t weigh north of a half a pound, and the pesto was the real deal, home made, quite possibly home grown, the added pine nuts which are super expensive these days, the olive oil drizzled with care and precision into the blending process, just like my Grandmother did for her pasta with pesto. The flavors brought me back to a time where food and family were a huge part of life. Where’s it all gone? I’m not sure, but you can find it in Huntington at Porto Fino.

where do I begin? Porto Fino is one of my fav«go to» places in Huntington Village! I think between my husband and I we have tried everything on the menu and it’s all so good! the only thing left for us to do is actually sit in the restaurant to eat! we always do take out ;) some of my favs include the regular pizza, the amazing stuffed knots!, the grandma Sicilian, my new favorite is the tomato and pesto slice — OMG – IT’S AMAZING!!! My husband loves all the specialty slices and around St. Patrick’s day they do a corned beef and cabbage deep dish that is to die for(don’t knock it till you try it!). everything is always fresh and the staff is so welcoming. of course after writing this review now I want Porto Fino for dinner! bottom line — next time you are in the village check out Porto Fino — you will NOT be disappointed.

My husband and I love this place. Gets pretty busy, se we go early. We love the friendly service, great food, and clean restaurant. I LOVE the penne aka vodka. My husband is a big fan of the chicken parm. We both love the drink menu and desserts. ;) Highly recommended.

The best pizza in Huntington Village. Little Vincent’s shouldn’t even be in operation with a top tier join like Porto Fino right up the street. Their food is always amazing. I went for their pizza, but also had a nice dinner with friends in the restaurant. Great service and a delicious meal. But pizza is my thing… Their slices are outstanding. Not thin, the crust is sturdy enough to hold the generous portions of cheese and sauce, which mix perfectly to make that all-important«orange gooey» cheese up top. Not too much olive oil, but just enough to make you want to go back for another slice. The staff is friendly and very quick. An extremely welcoming atmosphere, I can’t recommend them strongly enough.

Came here to get a quick dinner before our concert in 20 min at the Paramount Theater near by. The restaurant is quick spacious, however the booth in the front is a bit tight for 3 of us. Ask for a table in the back dining room. The bathroom is clean too. We did not order pizza or pasta since we need to leave in 20 min. We ordered tortellini soup. According to waiter, they make the soup fresh and ask us to expect to take some time. He was right, the soup took about 10 to 15 min to come and they looked freshly made. It was hot and good. The bread came with butter and olive oil. They were tasty and we cleaned out the entire basket.
