The Crab Benedict was delicious until I found a hair in it. Gross. They have delicious Bloody Mary’s and the service is good and quick. Our food was out in about 10 minutes and every table was occupied. Even if hairnets slow your service, I suggest wearing them. Hair in food is always a deal breaker.

Went to Toast for the first time this past week and had a really enjoyable experience! I’m vegan and they had such a wide variety of options– they even had soy milk for my coffee! I ended up having vegan quinoa lemon pancakes with real maple syrup and a coconut vegan whipped cream. I ate it alllllll! So yummy, plus I had a waitress who informed me about the vegan options and valued my vegan stance. A lot of places wouldn’t take the extra step to let you know certain things(I asked for fries and she let me know that they are fried in the same oil as chicken). Can’t wait to go back here with all my vegan buddies!

Where to start, my husband and I just visited Toast for the second time. After patiently waiting for a table, our names were called by the hostess only for another couple to get up from an awkwardly positioned two seater in the middle of the restaurant to take our table. We were told that they«requested» to be moved, well then why seat them in the first place?!? Since we were starving we decided to grin and bear it and deal with the randomly positioned seating. To make matters worse the hostess allowed people who were waiting for their tables to stand over us during our ENTIRE meal. I can’t express how disappointed I am in this lack of common sense. Place people in an awkward position and continuously make it worse. It’s frustrating that the food is actually decent because this experience has truly ruined my desire to ever return.

My new favorite place for breakfast! I’m a huge fan of the skillets. They had tons of options and everything is quick and fresh. Can be crowded at times, so come early on weekends or expect a wait. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Your coffee cup will never run empty at this place. Located way north in Huntington Village, parking can be very tricky. There’s a small lot on the side that gets overcrowded. Street parking is limited so just take into account that you may need to drive around a bit to find a suitable spot. Overall, it’s worth it. It’s hard to find a nice brunch spot that’s not a diner. :)

update: still good breakfast but consistently running out of things is getting old. Who advertises fresh-squeezed orange juice & fresh-squeezed mimosas, & then is out of fresh-squeezed OJ at 9:30 am on a Sunday? When you have your own juicer? c’mon, now.

Finally. Been meaning to try this place for quite awhile. Greeted by a very friendly host, and was able to sit outside on an unseasonably mild late November day. Menu offers a terrific brunch selection. My wife had the steak & eggs. I had the corn beef hash topped with poached eggs. Something I don’t often find on menus. Both meals were excellent, and served by a very friendly staff. I definitely look forward to going back, and highly recommend it.

The only thing good from this place is the vegan menu and anything that is dessert-y breakfast related. Everything else is pretty crappy. I’ve tried to like their eggs and savory dishes but I just don’t like the at all. But if you’re looking for some good pancakes and waffles or if you’re vegan then I definitely suggest trying those items.

I am sure that if you visit at a time that is not too busy, have a seat in the front that faces out and enjoy a decadent, gooey crêpe, the review would be spectacular. This was not the case for us. We arrived following the Huntington Columbus Day Parade to an agreeable 20 minute wait. I saw the hostess roll her eyes at least 4 times while we waited outside, obviously too close to the doorway, which was also the path that brought food out to the sidewalk tables. We were then seated at the least enjoyable seat in the house… you know, the one on the way to the bathroom near the service station. When the four of us asked to move to an opening table up front, the eye roller said that was for a larger party. of 5, although the table looked very similar to our«too tiny for four people» table. While Lee M and my mom each had a very good crab and hash type dish that was plentiful with real crab and displayed perfectly cooked poached eggs, my pear gorgonzola walnut salad was just average. on par with a take out salad in a plastic container. although my coconut lime dressing was really great. it is not often that I am still hungry after a salad. what really was the clincher of a disappointing experience was my tea. The menu stated assorted teas, so I asked the waiter what types they had. he seemed to rattle off your typical choices. chamomile, green etc. out came a nice white cChina pot with a Lipton tea bag hanging out of it. I found this to be amusing, as I could remember the last time I saw a restaurant serving Lipton tea. On the way out I was stopped at a cart that had a fine selection of Harney and Sons tea. which I love and it is my first choice of teas… so I asked the 4 or so staff who was standing around how I wound up with Lipton and not even aware of these teas. I’m sure a better waiter would have been more explicit when describing the choices, but by this time we were out the door and never to return again.

Great food! Went on a Sunday for brunch. It was packed but the food was on point. It wasn’t rushed at all! Friendly staff!

Honestly, I was amazed at this place. It is located in a weird intersection but there is plenty of parking behind it. The ambiance is a bit more casual than I am used to, but the menu is creative with a twist on commonly seen items like eggs Benedict. The food tastes great and I am definitely looking forward to my next visit. Friendly service too.

I went here yesterday and I will definitely be coming back! I went with a group of 3 other people and they seated us right away because it was a Tuesday. I couldn’t decide what to order, but I finally decided on the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and I am so glad I did, they were to die for. My friends ordered the chicken salad wrap, buffalo chicken wrap and an omelet and they did not have a complaint. I would strongly suggest the pancakes I can’t speak for the other things except the fries were seasoned so great and they tasted great to. Will be back soon!!!

The crab hash with poached eggs and chipotle hollandaise was so good! Highly recommended. The crab meat is legit and flavorful. No imitation here. The onion rye toast is pretty darn awesome too. My husband got the southwestern skillet but didn’t love it, he felt it lacked flavor. The wait on a Saturday morning was about 10 mins for us. The hostess was super sweet and the waitress was great as well. Great service– they checked in with us as our food was getting ready to let us know we hadn’t been forgotten. I will be back to try other things here.

Major props to Toast for having a killer vegan breakfast & lunch menu! This is a very popular spot in Huntington(on a Monday before noon the place was packed). It should be noted that their waitstaff handles the crowd like pros and do so with a smile, while swiftly seating you, getting you your coffee/juice and taking your order. I almost felt transported back to some cool diner circa 1955. I’m definitely going back between three and four stars on Toast, mainly because I never met a tofu scramble that I didn’t like until the one I had here. The amount of potato & onions was out of control. What should be the main component is the tofu and that was mashed up into the tiniest bits. I think it’s better when you have chunks of tofu and a lot of them, so that you’re getting your start of the day protein blast. The price was on the high side for what amounted to a skillet of potatoes and onions. That said, I’d be happy to go back and try one of their other items. It’s so cool to not be regulated to one sad dish on the menu as is typical for vegans(IF there ever even is something we can eat that isn’t dry toast when going out for breakfast). I like that your more conventional bfast-lovin’ friends can eat side by side with you so that you’re not eating two separate meals. My boyfriend had the crab Benedict. Verdict was that it’s good, but needed more Hollandaise. One final note: if you’re into sweets first thing, the chocolate waffles brought out to the folks sitting next to me looked pretty divine. There are way more sweet items on the vegan breakfast menu, so yes, you can indulge in dessert for breakfast. I don’t love starting my day out with a sugar rush(and kind of hate pancakes and French toast), but maybe one day I’ll try out their waffles when I’m back in town.

Good. Flavorless potatoes in the hash and flavorless sweet potatoe. Chorizo sausage was tasty. The French Toast sticks was one slice of toast in 4 plated on too big a plate so although it was good and the powdered sugar was a nice add, the plate looked a tad barren. It was unfortunate that they did not make their own jelly/jam considering how scrumption and fresh the onion bread tasted. The restaurant was cute, hip and cozy and the staff was friendly which is so significant!

Came here for breakfast because they had a vegan section on the menu which is rare to find. I had a tofu scramble which was excellent. Service was great but this place gets packed quick on weekend mornings. All in all it was great!

Just got back from Toast & Co for a delicious Saturday morning breakfast. All I can say is Yum. The Banana Fosters Pancakes are heavenly. Bananas cooked in the pancakes plus on top along with walnuts and syrup. The corned beef hash was freshly made and delicious. The restaurant is a little on the small side so be prepared to wait for a table weekend mornings. We waited for about 10 minutes and then sat at the counter. Parking is also difficult, but no more so than any other restaurant in the area.

Stopped in for breakfast, green eggs & ham caught my eye. If anything ever tasted«green» and in a good way it would be the chive oil on the green eggs & ham. So fresh and flavorful. The avocado mousse not so much, not bad but nothing special either, it could really have been left off & not missed. The potatos that came with it were really good, normally I dont like sweet potatos that are fried, they never really come out crispy, but these did, a nice mix of white potato, sweet potato with pepper & onions. I really liked them. Coffee was also good. A cute place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Good service, good food, good prices = win, win, win!!!

This is a cute little diner/café in Huntington. It’s a little off the beaten path, being a few blocks from Main St. and just off of New York Avenue, so the appeal to me was instant. Very nice, quiet and unpretentious. Breakfast was awesome, I had a very good eggs benedict, and I think Noemi had pancakes… I forget it was a couple of months ago. Top it off with a couple of rounds of mimosas and very friendly service, and you have a place we’ll definitely be visiting much more often. I love finding new breakfast/brunch spots! Definitely a fan ;-)

A solid 4 stars for Toast & Co. I’ve been here now 3x but this is my first time checking in and taking pictures. It looked like it was bustling inside & outside and sure to be a wait and much to our surprise there wasn’t. How nice is that?! I guess we caught them at coming off the peak time. What can I say? They’ve got a huge menu sure to please anyone’s palate from eggs to salads to paninis to mac and cheese for the kiddies. You name it they got it. Today I had the biscuit benedict. It was pretty yummy. Only bummer is that the hollandaise sauce was a little thin and the«home fries» needed some work. Though I did love the fact I had some sweet potatoes in the home fries. No doubt I will be back since the service and food is pretty damn good if I do say so myself. PS — The inside has a nice dinery /retro chic feel to it.
