What can I say? They have EVERYTHING Italian and imported. Used to come here for Pizza Rustica for my Mom. Discovered Italian breakfast creations this morning. Fantastic array of sausages/meats, cheeses, olives/olive oil, Italian groceries and prepared dishes.

I really like this store. I started buying their ravioli two years ago after I complimented a restaurant owner on his ravioli and the restaurant owner told me that all the restaurants buy Mr. Sausages ravioli. They make this ravioli fresh each day. Today I brought home short rib ravioli and was a major hero with the kids. The food here is so fresh, the employees seem to love their jobs, and the four brothers really do a great job. You should call it Mr. Sausage and Mr. Ravioli.

I drive all the way from Roslyn to eat and shop here. Fresh Fresh Fresh. Friendly owners and staff. Amazing butcher! I need places with a lot of variety and they have it all for me. One stop shop! A must try!

This is a nice, seemingly little Italian store near the heart of Huntington Village. It’s truly a specialty store. There is a butcher section with many different types of meats and several different types of specialty Italian sausages. It certainly lives up to the name Mr. Sausage. There are also a wide array of other products such as raviolis, cheeses, olives, pastas, sauces, premade salads, and ready to eat entrees. I recommend the fresh mozzarella; it’s so soft and kept at a perfect temperature.

It’s a real shame because their sandwiches are AWESOME, but their service is just terrible. I’ve tried multiple times calling in an order to pick up and they told me they didn’t have time and I needed to order in the store… seriously? So of course we went in and ordered to then sit there for 45 minutes. Today we tried ordering again and we were told they ran out of heros. I don’t understand how an Italian market runs out of hero bread in the middle of the day on a Saturday. It’s a shame the service is so poor otherwise we’d probably be eating there every day.

This place is an oases of Fine Food! You can never be disappointed when going there. Nice selection of take-out prime Itailan prepared food. The Best Quilaty at a fair price. The Owners are always warm & friendly. E-Z to park & run in & out. The marinate kabobs are to die for! PLUS: They never over salt there food.

If its not in the case, it’s not part of the pig. Endless displays of meets, wheels and logs of dried, salty cheeses and an in-house pasta making station. Beware of drool puddles. It’s a complete grocery — dry goods to Bloody Mary mix, and Captain Crunch covered chicken fingers beside imported prosciuttos. Mr. Sausage is more than one man(the owners are damn near twin brothers), it’s a cornucopia of Italian delicacies. For lunch, a Panino Di Faustino — pan fried porchetta, salty Asiago cheese and arugula sandwiched betwixt a giardiniera relish and a black olive tapenade. Supposedly pressed(the St. Rocco bread bore no ridges or toasted edges), and well portioned for $ 9 but somewhat strong-armed by the excellent Asiago and a bit greasier than necessary. For dessert, an ancient zeppole and a very dry tiramisu with promise but struggling to reach potential. Maybe it was the 45 minutes we had to wait for our reasonably priced sandwiches, or the fact that we used the last of the bread(until we were told we hadn’t, unceremoniously), but no matter the scenario, Mr. Sausage proved to be a good deli just short of a great one.

I may never be allowed in Long Island again with my 3 star review. This place is super duper popular hence why my coworkers and I waited what seemed to be hours for our sandwiches(more like 30 minutes) but, still. This place first of all as an Italian market — holy yes. It’s got every Italian treat you could ever ask for and freezers full of homemade ravioli. Where this whole Mr. Sausage experience went down hill was with my sandwich, the tiramisu and the zeppole. My eggplant sandwich was pretty uneventful. The eggplant was great but, maybe more was needed? This sammy was all bread and not a lot of filling ultimately leaving me unsatisfied. The zeppole were stale and not delicious at all and ended up being a huge waste of money and the tiramisu? A disgrace to the cake. It was so dry that only a bite was needed to put this at one of the top 5 worst tiramisu cakes ever. Coworker Jane K’s chicken parm hero? Amazing. Get that. Overall, a solid deli that clearly is a local hotspot/legend but, maybe I’m just spoiled with Jersey delis where that ish is . This one sufficed.

I was in Mexico once and saw a place called Señor Taco. We all love the Ice Cream Man, and where would comedy be without the Original Soupman? When you have a pretty good product on your hands or the smarts of Albert Einstein, you can pull off a wardrobe of all black clothing. Or in this case, a name as simple as «Mr. Sausage.» After embarking on Long Island for the first time, huger pangs called and Mr. Sausage was on the other end of the rotary phone. Specializing in all sorts of Italian treats, eyes were bigger than stomachs when waiting patiently for an array of heros to take to our next destination. Tiramisu, zappoli fried dough, prosciutto-baked savory pastries, gelato, encased meats hanging from the rafters, fresh baked breads, and Captain Crunch chicken fingers were just some of the many delights tempting our palates as we took in the sights and smells of an old world Italy. It was hard not to throw caution to the wind and swoop up all of our stomach’s desires. Sadly, with the exception of about 15% of the foodstuffs we ordered, the expectations fell a little flat of their face value potential. Tiramisu = eh. Pretty much tasteless, frozen and water burned. Zappoli = one bite and done. I’d say what it really tasted like to me, but it’d just be insulting. A huge pass. Sandwiches = amazing. Chicken parm was great, my Italian combo was perfect, and my cohorts all had nothing but great things to say. It’s hard to specialize in everything from pastries to meats, so it looks like they really excel in the proteins. The yesteryear charm of this relic is enough to keep the locals coming back for more, though. I’d prefer to support these kinds of places that remind you of your grandparent’s cedar chest than some slick joint serving eight varieties of pork belly from a millennial with trust fund money any day.

Couldn’t see this hidden gem from rte 110you have to know its there. i went in wanting chopped beef and walked out with all kinds of Italian specialty items;cheese, salads, chicken, pork, tiramisu. Their prices are fair market value, the staff is attentive and friendly. i almost forgot… the carbonara is authentic with pancetta a must try
