Bought a groupon for my family of four. Seated at 5:45pm on a Saturday. First thing you notice is how small the interior is. Tables are so close you can’t get to or leave your seat without having to move your table to one side to squeeze between the table next to you. Getting to our seat wasn’t easy. The staff is very courteous and friendly. They will do their best to accommodate you. The wait staff struggled to get to us every time. The noise level was high and difficult to have a conversation. The food was very good, but I would not say exceptional. Especially for the high prices they charge. Average price for an entrée is $ 25. I would not return mainly for the fact that I felt so uncomfortable in the cramped space.

I would never go back. It’s over rated and the to the hostess«Mary» you are a disrespectful very unprofessional person. She was very obnoxious to us. Food wasn’t top notch either. The prices of some of the specials were completely over priced. and the place looks like it needs a 40 yard dumpster. I’ve never been treated like that from a hostess ever. I really would never recommend this dive to anyone! As for the one star … Your dive deserves –5 stars but Unilocal doesn’t let you continue without it … The board of health should be called… What a disappointment.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was cheerfully greeted by the owner. My husband had called in an order to go of soupa Di pesce, the owner had a waiter carry the tray to my car(which I thought was very nice) the seafood dish was unbelievable ! The best I have ever had — the flavor to the aroma everything was so fresh, my tastebuds kept screaming for more. We had cleaned are plates with the most delicious bread — we will definitely be returning

Located in a very competitive restaurant town(dozens within a few blocks), Nader has by far the best food and service. The«specials» menu is always extensive and tough to choose what to order with so many appealing dishes. Overall, a great experience and my favorite restaurant on Long Island.

There are not many restaurants where the proprietor greets you at the door when you arrive and also shakes your hand and thanks you when you leave. Mr. Nader is a wonderfully nice man and a great chef. The little restaurant is casual, warm, friendly and the service and wait staff are top notch. The menu offers a wide range of Italian dishes, all of which are excellent. The portions are generous, so you’ll probably take some of your meal home for later. Try the creamy flan for dessert. It’s absolutely amazing!

Dined here for first time with a groupon, attracted by many positive reviews. Started with the crab cake, which was delicious in a tasty tomato sauce. I had lemon sole and my wife the shrimp scampi. My sole was generously portioned and nicely garnished with vegetables and rice, however an overpowering taste of egg in the breading marred the flavor for me. My wife’s scampi lacked the garlic that was expected. We finished with the highly recommended Napoleon, which was quite good. With wine and coffee the bill was $ 116, which I expected to be reduced by my $ 50 groupon. Alas, the waiter informed me that on Fridays one had to be seated by 6pm to use the groupon. My bad; didn’t see the small print. However, since the groupon was set to expire on this day I asked and expected to be credited the $ 25 cost of the groupon, which never expires. I was refused this as well. From a standpoint of good will to a new customer, with the possibilities of return business and recommendations, I believe the owner-manager did me a disservice. Thus the 2 stars. I don’t believe I will return at all.

Just OK Italian food. Traveled out from Queens with a groupon there were four in our party. Very small tight place and the noise level gets very loud. With all the good local Italian resturants definetly not worth the trip. Just glad that we had a groupon because the prices for the quality of the food was way to high. I had the Papardelle noodles with eggplant and it was so thick and gloppy that you could not taste the eggplant the other three dinners at our table were not impressed with their dinners either. Appitizers were good one dessert we sent back, they said it was a nepolian but did not taste or look like any napoleon I had ever seen the other the flan was just ok. For the price I can garentee we will not be returning to Bravo Nader even with a coupon. Will have to say owner was very pleasant and service was very good.

Visit Date: September 20, 2015 Came here for dinner with my girlfriend, we had a groupon. When we walked in the place was almost empty but it filled up quickly by the time we left. The atmosphere exudes a casual elegance. When the restaurant is filled, the space gets very tight to the point that it’s uncomfortable to pass a table on the way out the door or on the way to the restroom. Everything else about the restaurant besides the tight space is very nice. The staff is friendly, it doesn’t get too loud or crazy even when filled. The food was great. My friend had some red wine, they do charge a little more for wine but you will get a nice size glass of it for the amount you will pay. I had decaf coffee and they kept it coming for me. The bread basket was portion controlled which is good for me because I will eat whatever bread is in front of me. The bread wasn’t warm but still good, they gave us each two pieces one was plain italian bread and one was a nice bread with a variety of nuts and raisins inside of it. For the main course I had the spicy pasta dish with jalapeño peppers. It actually wasn’t very spicy to me but it was still very well done and good to eat. For dessert my friend and I split a napolean. The napolean was dynamite, the cream was light and airy, the pastry in between almost melted in your mouth. The chef actually prepares the napolean on the premises as some restaurants have desserts provided from a local bakery nearby. Overall besides the tight space I did have an enjoyable evening and a good meal here and would recommend this place.

Excellent experience at Bravo Nader. I’ve been here several times now and each meal better than the last. Do not miss the chicken DaVinci. Chicken breasts stuffed w prosciutto and fresh mozzarella with a Marsala sauce. Napoleon is freshly made and delicious. Service was great. Nader himself very friendly and present in the dining room. I’ll be back

Excellent food, kind of pricy but they always have groupons available. Extremely small and could use some updating. Soda always tastes a little seltzery. Food is very fresh and portions are large. Nader is always wandering around and very friendly. Not the best restaurant I’ve ever been to but we’ve been back a few times. Definitely worth a try!

Another outstanding dining experience!!! Service was once again friendly, attentive, and informative. Nader greets you at the door with a warm smile and you are ready to eat! The food is top notch. Yes it is expensive but we have gone to Bravo Nader’s several times now and it has never failed with a great menu of specials and solid wine selection! In my opinion, you do get what you pay for here. My wife and I both had the seafood sausage with black ink fettuccine!!! So friggin good. Even their dessert was great. My kids love Nader’s as well! You will leave happy and full!!!

Haters gonna hate but I loved it so I’m gonna love. We had the warm buratta with prosciutto balsamic and tomato… Yum for days. The bae had veal parm with a side of angel hair… It was perfection. On to my dish. I would say it was perfect but that would be an understatement. KUDOSCHEFNADER! I had the Sunday pasta(wide rigatoni with meatballs, house made sausage and bragiole) my goodness. Freaking incredible. Just like Nana makes it! The sauce was to die for and the pasta was a perfect Al dente! we finished it off by sharing the caramel flan. Holy moley! It was so rich and decadent. It was love at first bite… See what I did there? People loveeeeeee to complain about prices but the truth is that great food is worth the cost. While our meal was very costly(even with the groupon) I would absolutely do it again!(Without the groupon!) Compliments to Chef Nader and the whole staff! Cheers!

Ate here again last night with friends; Nader never disappoints. Small and intimate, everything here is expertly prepared. Decent wine list, specials are nicely varied and offer seafood, pasta, meats, and vegetables. Had the Osso Bucco; OMG… fall off the bone tender, over a creamy risotto and side veggies. Not overly sauced, just right. The pastas are home made and the eggplant made the right way! Not covered in bread crumbs and cheese like these American restaurants make. Thinly sliced with a light sauce and just enough mozzarella. Everyone is so friendly. We stayed late to finish our wine, and Nader turned up the romantic music so my friend and I could dance a little(well, it was our second bottle if wine… lol). To top it all, we had found a great Groupon deal to use, and they gladly accepted it. Bravo Nader!

First visit and packed to the gills for LI restaurant week. The waitstaff had to ask my husband to move his chair or they just reached over his head touching it in order to serve a table next to us. Greedy owner packing in too many people. Food was bland and service poor. Two tables next to us were seated after us, and one finished their meal before we got our dinner. Appetizer of baked clams were over cooked but cold. Grey sole had no flavor, and spaghetti and meatballs entrée had a sauce that had less flavor than jar sauce. Overcooked meatballs were dry and hard. Dessert were ok. Always heard this place was great, don’t waste your money. Your local pizzeria has tastier, fresher and better seasoned food.

Bravo Nader has italian food down to a science! Everything was perfectly cooked, the veggies maintained its crispness with lots of flavor. The fried calamari was crisp while the calamari was extremely tender thanks to his secret techniques. The penne alla vodka was infused with the right blend of cheeses roasted garlic. And to top it all off we were entertained by the owner himself. Its the best kept secret in Huntington village, he truly has a passion for the food he cooks and it shows. Thanks for everything! Cathy & Sam oh and BTW the flan was decadent bliss!

Bravo Nader is a quirky cute Italian Seafood restaurant tucked just north of but still in Huntington village. Reasonably well lit, white table cloths and upbeat Italian music playing. Tony Bennett, Sinatra etc. 13 tables so if Fri/Sat could be a wait. There 20 years, the owner based on photos enjoys fishing and cooking. Tried the fresh mozzarella tower with tomato(regular and sundried), red peppers, Portobello mushroom with balsamic /olive oil. Also tried the pesto gnocchi with pine nuts. Tasted the rollatini And chicken Marsala both not bad. Italian cheesecake was homemade and had a touch of sambucca flavor. Angelo was managing the lunch crowd, knew the menu well and was pleasant. For a nice pleasant or quiet dinner in a pleasant place with homemade food I’d recommend Would return since its pleasant in here.

Came with a friend for a pre-fixe lunch, right at 12PM. We were the only diners there for about a half hour before another party arrived. Very intimate, small restaurant. Large wine selection. As we were the only ones there, service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing. The interior evokes a more personal, home-like feeling as opposed to many of the other restaurants in the area. For our appetizers were tried the mozzarella pyramid and the eggplant rollatini. Rollatini was perfect, really delicious. Pyramid was a preparation of fresh mozzarella, peppers and eggplant in balsamic. My friend said she thoroughly enjoyed the selection of Riesling. I ordered the veal parm. Veal itself was cooked very well however the breading and cheese were heavy companions, which is the preference for some though I prefer a lighter dish. Mixed vegetables came heavy with butter. I had the opportunity to try the penne alla vodka my friend ordered and I enjoyed the sauce. Overall the experience was positive and I will make a note try dinner here in the future.
