Went for breakfast. The food was good, I had eggs Benedict. It was good but nothing spectacular. I gave it a three because the prices are just outrageous for the food and service. They are trying to be fancy and are missing the mark

Went in and it was packed! But it was just me so I sat at the bar. Service was amazing, coffee was hot and the food was wonderful! I could taste the freshness of each ingredient in my hey Lucy omlet, and the English muffin that went with it was perfectly toasted with out being too crunchy. A+ for this breakfast knook… I left happy and full. It is a tad expensive but supports local and organic businesses, and you can tell!

This was only my 2nd visit to this location, but the experience was just as pleasing as the 1st. I started off with a mimosa that was perfectly prepared. I had the Beignet biscuits as an app. The maple compost complimented it perfectly. My entrée was the Stan’s Mardi Gras omelet which was simply delicious. And I must send the ultimate compliment to my server Jamie H. She was friendly, cordial and very attentive. I will definitely return to this location whenever I’m in the Huntsville area.

If you like seafood in your breakfast, this is the place for you! The menu is diverse but a bit overdone in my taste. They only offer 1 ‘traditional’ breakfast. This is also a bit expensive, average $ 13 a plate.

In MOST towns there’s a place where you can get eggs over easy that don’t come to the table soaked in grease. IN Huntsville it’s «Another Broken Egg» café. Great atmosphere, very good food. Upscale. I had the Lobster and Crème cheese omelette one time, OMG. Most recently I just had a two-egg with bacon breakfast, yummy. No sourdough toast, that’s rare here in the South, but my date’s grits with cheese, shrimp, etc. was just fabulous. They have liquor just in case you want a Mimosa or a Screwdriver with your brekkie. This is my go-to place for breakfast in Huntsville; otherwise, it’s Waffle House for a more inexpensive plate. Located off Carl T Jones near Target /Dicks @ Bailey Cove. You won’t be disappointed.

In terms of my taste buds, I once was blind but now I see. This place not only has opened my eyes to what good food tastes like but has possibly ruined me on ever eating anywhere else ever again. The atmosphere was nice, the staff was very friendly but I apparently had an omelet straight from heaven. I would recommend to anyone.

Great Breakfast! Took a good 10 minutes before anyone ever came to take my drink order. Once my waitress finally came service went swiftly. My brunch was delicious as ways. Had a pancake and a order of bacon. Bacon was perfectly cooked! Great for groups and families. Also a great place to go to a nice brunch.

Wow! You must try this place!!! This was my first visit to Another Broken Egg but it will not be my last. Ate here on a Sunday around 12:20. Our only wait to be seated was for them to quickly clean off a table. Had a friendly waitress and attentive service. Our order took maybe 25 minutes to come out, which was worth the wait. I went savory and ordered the Biscuit & Gravy meal.(See pictures) Huge plate of food including eggs sausage, seasoned potato cubes. Everything tasted amazing and well-seasoned. My husband ordered sweet with the Cinnamon Roll French toast. He claimed it was literally the best breakfast he has ever had after saying mmm and oh my gosh after every bite until he was done. He also ordered freshly squeezed OJ. It was $ 4 a glass, but such a yummy splurge. With 2 waters, order total was about $ 27 plus tip. Not sure how this place got so many negative comments, but it’s more than worth a try!

LOVELOVELOVE the breakfast/brunch here but why oh why is there always a 45min-1hr wait time no matter what time of day you come and there always seems to be empty tables just sitting there awaiting the next party’s arrival. I waited tables at Cracker Barrell for over 5 years before becoming a nurse and our managers always came out to greet the folks waiting in the lobby, make apologies for the wait, and at times offer them drinks or coffee on the house. I have never met any member of management at ABE. Obviously the problems don’t outweigh the yumminess as I am sitting here writing this review but just something to think about. Also, this location does not serve the vodka-infused mimosas like the Birmingham Branch and that is a shame because they’re delicious!

I finally made it to this spot after years of debating on going. Well I have been missing out. I have been twice, both for lunch and the food was on point. I ordered the burger(of all things) and everything about it tasted so fresh especially the bun. My date who I brought with both times ordered more healthy stuff and she really enjoyed it to. The mimosas we had were wonderful the first time, second time not as strong as the first but was tolerable. This place is great for breakfast and lunch and I plan to try the cinnamon roll french toast next time I go.

Another Broken Egg is a hip Jones Valley breakfast joint which seems to play by it’s own rules. That being said, this is usually what tends to make or break the experience for those who dine(or attempt to dine) here. For starters, they are open daily from 7 – 2. «Atrocious hours» you say? I’m inclined to agree. I’ve only ever been in during the weekend, but I can tell you that without fail, there is always a wait. «How much of a wait» you ask? 30 – 45 minutes seems to be the norm. «Bullsh*t!» You exclaim?! Once again, I agree. 45 minutes seems to be an extreme wait for the Huntsville area, much to the joy of Five Guys(in the same strip mall) who receive the bulk of the overflow. Don’t even try to call ahead for a reservation, they don’t allow it. Just take your vibrating coaster thingie and stick it out. You’ll notice upon arrival that there are a bunch of people loitering outside. Weather permitting the wait is not so bad. However in the blistering cold/hot(gotta love those Alabama extremes) it can become quite annoying thanks to the tiny indoor front waiting area and the limited(2) benches outside for overflow, which is constantly an issue… Now that you’ve been properly forewarned and(hopefully) seated, prepare for some of the best breakfast foods Huntsville has to offer. Need a drink after all that wait? You’re in luck! Alcohol is available. Need a beignet because you feel life is too long? Knock yourself out! These are the best beignets you can procure outside of NOLA. The question everyone asks seems to be «is the food –really– that good? Is the Is the juice worth the squeeze?» Indeed it is.

This is probably the most popular brunch spot in Huntsville. The warm colors of the restaurant make it feel homey and comfortable, and you sit down ready to enjoy a hearty meal. I actually prefer sitting inside because it’s a nice atmosphere inside, but the patio is nice as well if the weather is perfect enough. You get served heaping portions and every dish is so rich, I never finish my meal and have plenty to take to go. This time we ordered the shrimp and grits and the brie cheese plate. The brie cheese plate, with its sweetly baked caramelized fruits and warm toasted bread is a must.

I seriously have no idea why anyone would not enjoy ABE. They are already friendly, fresh, and delicious. The value is also awesome-my family of 3 can usually have a bill under $ 30 and that’s with an appetizer and drinks. I love their huverous rancheros, city grits, cinnamon rolls, their bacon… actually about everything there! I could eat their everyday. I’m so happy I found a nice brunch place for my family to enjoy!

I don’t understand the reason for the weekend lines here. Perhaps the restaurant is understaffed since I’ve seen patrons wait outside while tables remained empty inside. The food here is not that great– it’s just okay. Skip the beignets and spare yourself the unnecessary caloric genocide.

Another Broken Egg is an amazing brunch spot! I have been there twice and was not disappointed. Their food is amazing! I had the biscuits and gravy, French toast, omelette, hash browns, and eggs(not all at once). Definitely good for a nice brunch on a Saturday or Sunday morning.

So we’re sitting here for a bit of time waiting for our food, about 30 mins after taking our order. The place is packed as it’s very popular AND it’s Fathers Day; must all play a part of their slow service today. This place has good food and a nice selection. Prices are moderately high as me and Michele are a $ 30 couple when it comes to eating out at places. Bill came to $ 25 and I was pleasantly surprised. Due to the log wait they gave us a large cinnamon roll ala Cinnabon AND gave a card for a free meal on our next visit. I guess they know good customer service which only helped with today’s wait. I’d come here again to try the huevos rancheros.

Personally I had a great experience. I really enjoy the food. Coffee was great. I had it black, no sugar or milk. I had the French toast and I like them. Chocolate chip Muffins where good. English muffin was good. And I liked the sausages and the potatoes. Service was great too. The place inside is great. The only problem is that is extremely busy on the weekends. I wish they would move to a bigger location or open multiple locations.

Finally made it out to Broken Egg Café for the first time for an early bite. Upon entering I immediately got a warm feel. Love the ambiance & décor here. Kinda reminds me of Panera Bread but more of a southern home touch and without the noise and crowd., at least that’s what I experienced between 8:30−10a. As for the service — they were accommodating and allowed me to choose my seating for 1 this morning with a window view. I never had to ask to have my coffee refilled. They checked w me periodically but not too much to disturb me while I squeezed in some quiet time reading. Staff is friendly and accommodating. As for the food — I ordered their Biscuit Beignets. Although these babies are listed under appetizers, the order was more than enough for one. They are somewhat different from the original Beignets known to have more of a donut texture that melts in your mouth. The Beignets served here is a combination of a biscuit and donut, but more biscuit as advertised. The dish contained 15 pieces lightly dusted with powdered sugar on top and came with a side of honey/orange marmalade for dipping. The marmalade wasn’t necessary for me, but helped w the presentation. Overall, the Beignets were very tasy that I downed about half the plate between sipping hot coffee. 8P Although these differ from the real Beignets served at Café Du Monde in Louisiana and Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen in SoCal, these babies quenched my craving. I would definitely come back and share a dish w my hubby. ;)
