AMAZINGFOOD! What a great place! This is my first time in TX and first time eating Texas BBQ and I was not disappointed! They were so kind. When I told them it was my first time they gave me a free piece of pecan pie! Also… AMAZING! Highly Reccomend

Good food at a great price(especially for BBQ) They give generous portions of their meats and sides and have great homemade pies to finish you off!

We had the ribs, sausage and brisket. All were excellent. The mustard potato salad was great. A little hard to find in the middle of the block across the cemetery but definitely worth the effort. The buttermilk pie definitely lived up to the previous reviews. If you’re in the mood for home cooked barbecue this is the place to go

Wowza! We were in the mood for BBQ and read some reviews to this place(thank you fellow Unilocalers) and decided to drive up from Houston on a Sunday to go see what it was about. Yum yum yum, can someone donate me an extra stomach? We got the brisket, chicken and ribs to share with potato salad beans, and we were given a slice of each pie free since it was our first time. All meat was fantastic, good char, great smokey flavor — we mixed the 2 sauces together for a perfect compliment to honor the animals who gave their lives for such deliciousness. The potato salad brought back memories of my childhood and care free summer days. The pecan pie was so darn good I think the happy tears of unicorns were used to create such wonder. We ended up ordering a pound of brisket, 16oz potato salad and a whole pecan pie to-go so we can have it for lunches during the upcoming week… not sure if the pie will last till Monday though. Will be back for sure. We were told they are only closed on the 5th Sunday of the month(if there is a 5th Sunday) and Easer Sunday, but are closed every Monday.
