A little hidden gem! Smaller store with specialty chocolate cream center confectionery candies in the heart of Bridge Street. With a wide variety of large candy /confectionery apples as well, you can’t go wrong to satisfy a sweet tooth here! They will even cut your apple for you to share once you order it. The maple cream centers in milk chocolate are heavenly — super rich and creamy, no sugar crystals, velvety texture! Out of state but will definitely return again when visiting family nearby! Would highly recommend!

Very good assortment of chocolates. Brandi and Sebastien and Trae loved the cinnamon apples. I tried the white chocolate peanut butter cups, which I found to be too white chocolate-ey. Prices were comparable to a Godiva store. They run specials and have coupons but we didn’t use any because we just discovered this place. We would likely go back, and I would recommend this for anyone staying or shopping nearby. Not some place I would go out of my way just to go to though.

OMG… I love Chocolate Crocodile! I mean, seriously! I’m lactose intolerant but thank GOD for dark chocolate! I’ve had the frozen cheesecake dipped in dark chocolate, the dark chocolate pretzel rods, the dark and white chocolate strawberries and peanut butter cups, and the dark chocolate candy apple. Everything here is delicious and without question worth the price! The employees are friendly and very patient, especially if its your first time there. I’ve been like 5 times within 2 weeks and I have yet to be disappointed. Do yourself a favor and stop by for chocolate bliss.

I really like this place for a quick sweet treat if I’m walking around bridgestreet(I used to work out there, so it was definitely convenient if I needed something chocolatey!). Their chocolate/candy/caramel covered apples are awesome! I really like the plain white chocolate. They have a good assortment of candies and chocolate dipped items. My favorite thing would probably be the banana flavored, dipped oreos. It’s banana flavored-white chocolate coating over oreos… what’s not to love about that? They’re also great for holidays or special occasions. They can put together assortments of their different items, or anything specific you’re looking for. They are always really nice and happy to help you, or even make you something right then like their chocolate covered bananas and cheesecake.

Split a caramel apple with a friend. It was sooooo good! They sliced it up for us too. I like the box it comes in. It would make a nice present. There’s a window in the box on one side and they punched a hole for the stick to poke through. I guess everyone gave them a 3 rating too because it was yummy, but nothing too special and some people had occasional comments of rude servers or a dirty truffle case, but not me. I bet if this place had a more pronounced and talked about specialty with a catchy name(ex:an Alabama or auburn apple), people would give better ratings.

Dropped by for a late evening snack. Can’t go wrong here if you’re a chocolate lover! I tried 3 different truffles and they were all good. Chocolate mousse was my favorite. Not a chocolate lover, never fear! The are several non-chocolate items as well i.e. baked goods, caramel apples, etc. The also offer coffee and other hot beverage selections. They have some indoor and outdoor seating available.

Stopped in here after lunch before catching my flight home to get a chocolate«fix.» The Chocolate Crocodile has huge caramel apples(«monster sized») and glass cases full of both large and small truffles, chocolate pieces, fudge, specialty chocolate(chocolate dipped marshmallows or Oreos anyone?) and for those of you who are not chocolate lovers, many flavors of fruit gummy things in the shape of watermelon pieces(strawberry banana, for example). I got a chocolate covered pretzel(good combination of chocolate, crunch, and saltiness) and a couple of mixed nut chocolate«claws»(known to most as Turtles). Yum! I avoided the truffles — the case looked a bit dirty.

I stopped by the Chocolate Crocodile on Friday, February 13th to buy Valentine’s Day candy for my wife and daughters. Of course, the place was a zoo, since everyone in Huntsville also decided to go to the Chocolate Crocodile at the exact same time I did. I was perfectly prepared to be patient and understanding. Nevertheless, the kid who waited on me was rude and did a very sloppy job. He randomly crammed my wife’s chocolates into a small white box(and this was the box I got after requesting a larger one than the tiny one he first pulled out). They were such a mess, I had to repack them myself before I could give them to my wife. He was also projecting a poor attitude. He probably hadn’t been able to text message one of his friends or check his Facebook on his iPhone for 15 minutes and was suffering from withdrawals. On a positive note, the chocolates are good!

Get a slice of cake, a cup of latte, and sit at their outdoor porch. It’s an instant heaven.
