I have fine hair. Becky is my salvation. She is the BEST I have ever had to cut and style my hair.

I have to join all the other 5 star people. It’s like going to a major city salon for the expertise with the benefit of warm, friendly staff. Melanie was excellent, and patient with my «Soooo that poof will be gone, right?» and «Are you sure the color will be light enough?» questions. Price was in line with quality. It’s always unnerving to go to a new stylist but I was more than happy with the result.

First time I have ever taken the time to write a review. I’m so upset at the money I spent at this place. I went there thinking I was getting a professional. Instead I believe I got some poor girl that had to keep asking for help. I spent over four hours and $ 250 in this place for basically nothing!!! I got the beach wave that they advertise… The next day my hair is completely strait. My hair can hold a curl just fine. The problem was tossing me to some new kid and I got crapped on and ripped off. Never will I go back!

Been here three times and the service, quality, appearance and education of the employees is beyond excellent. Most salons are a hit or miss with the staff, but here you can’t go wrong. I love coming in because I know I will get exactly what I want. They even educate you on products and styling if you ask, which is really exciting!

I have had regular cuts at Elleven for about a year now with Amy and my expectations have always been met or exceeded.
The salon is simple and clean and not overly noisy.
I specifically like my experiences with Amy because after my initial communication about my hair ‘goals’, I go in and she cuts it perfectly without extra instruction. She is also speedy and sometimes available within short notice, which is especially helpful to me. Most importantly, though, you can tell that she really enjoys her job and has a passion to always improve.
I enjoy this salon so much that I have recommended 3 friends there who are all regulars as well.

Update: since my first –amazing– cut by Noelle, I had started to see Jessica B. Noelle was away on maternity leave and Jessica was her apprentice at the time Noelle was cutting my hair, so I started seeing her since she already knew my hair.
For the last three years, Elleven was my go-​to salon. Let me just say I’ve always left the salon «feeling like an eleven». I have a very precise asymmetrical cut that I’ve been working on growing out since I started going to Elleven. Jessica has always been very meticulous in her work, which my particular style really needs. She even gets excited with the progress of my hair and I can tell that it’s not just another cut to her.
The only reason I had to knock one star off is because I was blindsided at the register by an increased rate due to the «tier system». Let me explain. I was so happy to hear about Jessica’s promotion, but my silly butt should have known that a promotion = higher rates. I wasn’t thinking about it at the time. I didn’t realize it until I found out the price of my regular haircut was much higher when I went to pay. I totally understand that prices change when a stylist moves up in the tier system. I just wish I had a more /​clear/​warning. Maybe their announcement of the promotion was a subtle hint, but ‘promotion’ and ‘yay!’ were on my mind, not ‘$$$’. It just kind of left a bad taste in my mouth.
I no longer go to Elleven for my six week trims. Believe me, I really wish I could. I just think the prices are pretty steep, hence the triple dollar signs for this business’s price range. If money is no issue to you, then by all means please go see Noelle or Jessica B! They’re amazing. If you need a very precise fresh, modern cut GO SEE THEM! But I want to LOOK like a baller, not spend like one. And so I’m sad to say my three year relationship with Elleven has ended.

All of the reviews online rave about this place and I did, too! The staff is extremely friendly, the location is in a great area and the interior is very modern. I had Ashley as my stylist and she did exactly what I asked and discussed options for my hairstyles and she was very professional. The price was right – A wash/​dry/​style/​cut was $ 39, which is a great price for a great cut. I will definitely go back for my trim in 10 weeks and may even consider getting a color. I also LOVED how I got this all done in less than 45 minutes. I gave this ⁴⁄₅ stars only because I want to explore the other services they offer to see if they truly are «as good as it gets», but I do anticipate updating my rating in the future.

I have tried all of their services applicable to me and the salon never sways in quality! You’ll love this place!

I started going to Erin when she was still in school in Austin. As a 23 year old with my first job out of college, it was hard to afford anything else. I met her just in time to squeeze in 2 appointments before she graduated, and boy was I lucky. She not only did an AMAZING job on my highlights and cut, but she also was a blast to be around. Most stylists I have gone to usually do the fake, pretend I m interested, kind of but not really get to know you chit-​chat. Not with Erin! It s like all of that was skipped over and we were instant friends. I decided then that I wouldn t be going to the school anymore, I would go to whatever salon Erin went to after graduation. It turns out that her new salon was a little bit aways, and a little more expensive, but it was absolutely worth it. She has even gotten me to break out of my hair-shell…No more cheap box-​dying for this girl! I was so sad when I found out Erin was moving away from Austin. But knowing her and of course her being the best at everything, she even pointed me in the direction of someone great in her absense. It s not quite the same as going to her, but it s the next best thing! Good luck in Huntsville, Erin! I wish I could be greedy and keep you in Austin for my own sake!

Just moved to Huntsville and I’ve been nervous about finding a new salon. Saw their reviews on Unilocal and Google and thought I’d give it a try. I was not disappointed! One of my pet peeves is a dirty salon. This place was spotless which is hard for a busy salon to do but they do it well! Rachel worked with me and was fantastic! Obviously very well trained and knowledgeable! I will definitely be back and I will definitely be recommending her and this salon.

Soooo impressed! I had just rolled into town and was a bit nervous in having to find a new salon/​stylist. I’ve been the victim of a few rather hideous cuts in my time, the most being quite cottonball-​esque.
I was instantly put at ease when I walked through the door. The salon is large, beautiful and bustling. It has a modern atmosphere which, to me, is a sign that the services and education are up-​to-​date.
Noelle is my stylist. SHE ROCKS!!! Not only did she give me a fantastic cut and style and actually talked to me about what she was doing, she was sooo easy to chat with. Very nice and funny and intelligent! To me, that is super important… I don’t want to spend an hour with a wet dishrag. :) She even gave me some contacts to use on my job hunt!
The price was right. They provided wine (woo hoo). They sell gorgeous jewelery at reception. They even host events (I was invited to a workshop on how to use my hair appliances to their max) I love Elleven Salon and will be a patron for years to come.
