I guess cool stuff does happen every now and then in Huntsville. This year was Huntsville’s 38th annual Fair on the Square. Open from 9am — 5pm, families and college students alike gathered in the downtown square for the plethora of fun activities and neat sights to enjoy. A giant chunk of the downtown streets were shut down to accommodate what seemed like hundreds of vendors from all over this part of Texas. Clothing boutiques, nick-knacks, fatty fair foods, holiday decorations, jewelry, candles, nuts, antiques. Seriously, you can find anything here. The best part– the people and the spirit. I love when people come together in outdoor gatherings in high spirits. I love all the Texas gear– giant door displays of Cowboy Santa, «Happy Fall Y’all» signs, Texas stars, university gear, leather gun holsters, cowboy-decorated wreaths, etc. It’s worth checking out in you’re in the area!
