Really nice. Clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The subs were great and the only reason I graded them down was that they were out of beef brisket for sandwiches. The prices are great as well.

First time at a Firehouse Sub. Pros: I tried The Engineer. It was great and unlike some places they were very generous with the meat and toppings. I’d probably go back. Cons: It took entirely too long to get my order. Including myself, there were three customers and we all ordered one sandwich. The employees were too busy behind the counter talking to make sandwiches.

Love firehouse. Their subs are fresh the bread is great and they are very generous with the meats and toppings. I also love the variety of hot sauces available to spice up your sub. Pricing is also very reasonable.

Had lunch here with my cousins and got the veggie sub nothing spectacular just okay they toasted it and put veggies on it with reg condiments.
Prices seem steep too for just a sandwich I think maybe people in the area may think its good but outsiders not so much!
The soda machine was cool because there were over like 50 different flavors it was like a touch screen high tech one & first time I saw that they must be popping up in some places now!

I’m not sure what all the rave about. I like the subs, but they are pretty expensive and they always seem to take forever to get your order out. If you want a sandwich, chips, and drink you’re shelling out $ 8 after tax. Just the sandwich alone will bring you to $ 6. I can think of a lot better places that can give me lunch for that.
Two things that kept me from giving a 2-star rating: I like that they have Hot Pepper Sauce to apply to your sandwich. And I like that they give a discount to public service men/women (although, considering how pricey the menu is it’s still not a great deal).

What can I say, I LOVE Firehouse Subs! They are a little too generous with the mayo (consistently), but the food is always hot and delicious. Their selection is as good as any sandwich shop, and like the others here are low calorie options available. The prices are inline with other shops. I have been to three Huntsville locations and they are always clean and inviting.
