One evening it was pouring down rain in Hunstville. Limbs were falling and then a tornado decided to sweep through town. I had ordered a pizza online before the power went out… an hour and a half later my cell rings and the poor guy is trying to find my apartment still despite the torrential downpour. The tornado had ripped off the roof of Papa John’s and my pizza was the last one to make it out of the oven before that happened. He forgot my 2 liter and I laughed that he said he’d bring it back later. I think I ended up giving him a $ 10 tip just for actually making it when I thought all was lost of dinner in dark Huntsville that night.
Also, this place use to be a bar that is now based on the one everyone goes to in Dazed and Confused. By Richard Linklater, a SHSU dropout!
