Placed an order for honey chicken with lo mein. The Lo mein was ok. But the chicken i got was really bad. All i got was fried battered chicken and most of it was batter. Not even close to how it was supposed to look like.

HORRIBLEOWNER. HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE. A TOTALRIPOFF. I WILLNEVERGOBACK .EVENIFYOUPAIDME!!! THISWASTHEWORSTEXPERIENCE I’VEEVERENCOUNTEREDINHUNTSVILLE! I ordered mongolian beef to go earlier and when I got home and opened the container, there was nothing but a few scrap pieces of beef and majority onions. Normally I wouldn’t complain because I know that onion comes w/it. But when it is 70% onions though? It was pretty much 10 $ for some horribly stir fried onions. So I called up there and the girl at the front took my name & number. she called back after she spoke to the chef. & She told me to come back up there in 10 mins & the chef would remake it for me. I sent my brother to pick it up. When he got there, instead of them fixing the order, LIKETHEYOFFEREDTO… he was YELLED at &LECTURED by the chef/owner! about how expensive beef was and how he is NOT going to remake it unless we pay for it. If that was the case, they should’ve never called back and asked us to come pick it up! I asked to speak to this chef/owner over the phone. and he absolutely refused! He knew he was wrong and never once apologized. So pretty much we paid 10 $ for onions, mushy brown rice & a lecture. If you want better service ANDFOOD, I recommend going to MEIWEI down the street. That was my FIRST&LAST time going to sakura, that’s for sure!

Tasty, you will enjoy the place I think. But authenticity is questionable — spring rolls were deep fried(!), lemongrass soup had a good flavor but no lemongrass(!!), and they had to scour the kitchen to find a bag of green tea. Very good health rating posted, 94. Will know more as I visit again.

Love this place and the staff is stellar. Try the Shumai appetizer, hot soup, and the chicken is prepared really well. Most places over cook it. You get a lot of bang for your buck.

We’ve been here 4 times now. Each time the quality and presentation of the food was comparable to a restaurant costing 3 times as much. The sauces and flavors taste like they are mostly original with this chef. The vegetables are still crunchy and cut to bite size(if you use chopsticks). So far we’ve had the hibachi steak and shrimp, mongolian beef, cashew chicken, kung pao chicken, rock shrimp(awesome appetizer!) pork gyoza and vegetable gyoza and I can’t remember what else. Hot and sour soup and egg drop soup were good too. From the time we ordered tonight until the time our food came was less than 10 minutes. After dinner they bring a decoratively sectioned and chilled orange. I’ve never had that elsewhere; it is a nice touch. They seem to do a fair amount of carry out business and they also deliver. Our bill for two entrees and an appetizer tonight was $ 25. We took half of it home.
