Trailhead

Trailhead is by far The BEST bike shop in Huntsville. When you arrive you will immediately notice the shop’s wide selection of Specialized bikes, branded riding gear and merchandising racks of apparel. Trailhead has all your biking needs covered.
But the real reason you will appreciate Trailhead is the knowledgable staff, offering over-​the-​top service in a friendly manner. The team at Trailhead is a dedicated collection of «great folks.»
I highly recommend Trailhead.

Knowledgeable staff. They seem to lean more towards off-​road cycling/​mountain biking, though their road bike selection is certainly adequate (including some high-​end Specialized bikes). Mechanics do good work within a decent time-​frame. Trailhead is not usually my «go-​to» shop most of the time, but I’ve always been well-​served when shopping there.

I like the ambiance at Trailhead. The store is really nice and well composed in its limited space. They even have a shop dog — Boudreaux (at least I think that’s his name) — who is really cool and further adds to the laid-​back feel of the environment.
The customer service is pretty good. I don’t have the appearance of a serious rider, so some of my questions have been met with some dubious looks. That’s something I’ve come to expect over time. However, I will say that they have always been very courteous and kind at Trailhead.
As a big bonus, they’re open on Sundays, which is one of my favorite riding days. It’s great to be able to go grab something that I might need before I head out for a ride.
