Worst online customer service I have ever experienced. Waited for 30 minutes to find out their return policy, only to be spoken rudely to. It’s a shame as the brand premise is known for ‘quality and customer care’. We have bought many items from sears in the past, but I have to say, this will be the last. I would invite someone with decision making authority at Sears to respond to this review…

I have always been so happy with the service at Sears and this location did not let me down. They called last night with estimated delivery between 10 am-12 pm then called this morning 5 minutes before delivery at 10 am. I have done 2 loads of laundry so far and everything works great! Bonus that delivery guys were dog friendly.

Horrible customer service over the phone and in person. I purchased a dryer two weeks ago and was told they could work with my schedule to deliver and install. After rescheduling 3 times I went into the store to cancel my order after getting nowhere with the agents over the phone. They said I hadn’t purchased the item at that location because they couldn’t find an order with my phone number. I finally was able to contact a 1 – 800 number, but it shouldn’t take that much time to cancel an order! Spend your time and money elsewhere.

To be kind, I give it three stars because the cashiers seem to be having difficulties with the computers that they use for Checkout that probably haven’t been updated since the 2000s. They are hiring, so I can fairly tell that they are short on workers and also they store clothing collections have been improving. Its just that I wish they had more lanes available, they only had two at each(one at the Women’s and one and men’s) What bothers me the most is that the price checks are inoperative, the Sears store is falling behind faster than JCPenney(when Sears is ahead of them in financially) and needs a facelift of some sort.

I hope that management reads this… store walks should be far lower key. I was disturbed & offended by the gentlemen talking right into my ear to his minions as I tried on boots. talk about uncomfortable! sales floor was great. socially awkward but gave great effort, listened to our needs & found what we came for… an LG fridge with bells & whistles. nearly purchased a new TV but decided against after hearing that Sears won’t lower a price to match another retailer. I work at Target & I’m sure I will get a better deal there. we did stop on our way out to grab a Wide pair of boots for my husband $ 140& had a laugh. give the employees the discretion to lower prices up to 10% as they see fit. if you had, you would’ve sold a 39″ Samsung on top of the rest.

This is a HORRIBLE store with HORRIBLE service! They sold me a faulty TV and bluray player and refused to do anything about it. I bought a 3DTV and the associate didn’t bother to tell me it was an active 3DTV instead of passive 3D. The glasses are a minimum $ 15 each and are battery powered. Because of the shuttering you can’t use them if seizure prone. When I called about returning the TV they told me they couldn’t do anything. I’m stuck with a broken bluray player and a 3DTV that I can never use the 3D function on. I have wasted over $ 1000 at this Sears. Do yourself a favor and DONOT buy anything here!!!

UPDATE3÷22÷2014 — Having received an email from a new(March 2014) member named«ANON Y.» complaining that my treatment of the Sears employees in the below incident was heavy handed and rude, allow me to make the following statement: No Sears employees, agents, or their families were injured, demeaned, or personally insulted in the below exchange, and all parties finished the subject evening meeting with their dignity and well-being intact”…LOL…and they say that irony and sarcasm are lost on some people… Pshaw…Dave 2014 ;-) ORIGINALREVIEW: This is the funniest review I have bothered to write… as NOONE shops at Sears anymore… REALLY…and for good reason… last night as I made my way to find the manager I passed no less than 15 employees, and about 4 customers… Wont even bother wasting the energy to type the entire story, but the players are an expensive canister vacuum that has been broken for a year or more, a 5-year extended warranty, and about 10 – 12 calls between their warranty department and repair center… oh, and being told I must have bought a second canister vacuum because my warranty info did not flush up with the unit delivered for repair(ridiculous)…ended with me making a 40 minute drive to Sears if for no other reason but to talk to someone in person and use a multitude of swear words to describe to the manager my dissatisfaction with their poor treatment of a now ex-customer… I promised myself years ago after dealing with several Diehard batteries at Sears I would NEVER spend another penny in a Sears as long as I live… vow renewed… and tattooed on forearm… NEVER…NEVER…NEVER… NEVER…NEVER…NEVER…AGAIN!!! Epilogue…they did remove the repair cost and honor the existing warranty(wow, I should be surprised?), but man was this like pulling my own teeth. A company like Sears needs to understand the days of one store in a town are gone, there are 5 other stores that want your customers, and many offer better pricing and easier returns and warranty repairs, and every customer matters… ones that leave angry or abused take their wallets with them… and then they post on Unilocal,or talk to their friends and family… JMHO…OK, time to deal with an accumulation of dog hair with a now fixed vacuum!!!

I love dropping my car off for a new battery, going shopping, and picking the car up later. However, they did not check my tires or rotate them as requested so I had to wait just a little while longer while they made things right. Overall, a good experience and way better than sitting in a dirty waiting room full of sun bleached car magazines like at most establishments.

After that impressive display on Black Friday, it seems that it’s back to regular old business at Sears. I had been digging around the area for a quality iron that I needed the next day. My journey started at Super Target, then went to Hancock Fabric, Office Max(I just wanted to see if they carried any at all), Ross(for my girlfriends nerves) and Jo-Ann. Nothing. My girlfriend suggested that I check out Sears, Bed Bath and Beyond or Best Buy at this point(I certainly wasn’t going to get my new iron from Wal-Mart). At this point I didn’t want to drive around anymore, and I wasn’t sure what these stores carried so I employed Unilocal to help me get the info to call these stores for a specific iron that I was looking for(Panasonic — 4 and a half stars on Amazon). I called Bed Bath and Beyond… no such iron there. Next I called Sears… ring… ring… ring… no answer. After calling again… I get someone on the phone. Apparently asking«I’m looking for a Panasonic iron, do you have one there?» is a very difficult question. The associate that answered the phone passed me off to another associate who… was having a hard time finding out if they even carried the brand. I tell him I’ll just go up there and check it out myself. At Sears(I am not kidding you), they have 1 end cap with all the irons they carry. Why it was so difficult to determine what brands of irons they have is a mystery to me. And guess what brand they don’t carry? Yep, no Panasonic like I asked. Anyhow, I was here, my girlfriend and I were tired so I try to make the best of it. I check the brands /models they carry to find out that the T-faL Ultraglide actually has a 4 star rating on Amazon. Awesome. I purchase the item, decline the extended warranty and head home.
