Drove in from KC with my large family on a Sunday afternoon. We stopped here to eat before we headed to the cosmosphere. We enjoyed ourselves very much. It wasnt enormous so i wasnt worried about my kids escaping. The bathrooms were clean and the food was decent. Wish they had more selections out for pizza at the time. But we would go back. Definitely.

In most areas of the country, pizza is not uncommon. In a similar fashion, buffets are also not uncommon. However, the pizza buffet is a bit of a strange beast. You have CiCi’s and you have… not much else. There are a few mom and pop restaurants, and in certain areas there are a few regional chains, such as Godfathers or Pizza Inn, but not much else. While Pizza Ranch is a regional chain, it’s a sizable one, with a spread across 13 states(according to their web site — I didn’t actually visit them all), so it seems that they are doing something right. Once you’re inside, it is much like being at the ranch, with well-themed décor and pizzas that are produced with quality, not the kind that are dripping with grease or that no one wants to eat so end up sitting on the bar and the only thing left are the pieces that no one wants. Here you actually get decent choices. You can also order a specialty pie that they will deliver to you(I don’t believe you get the whole thing, but you do get first crack before they sit the rest out on the bar), which is a nice touch, and they have nice sides as well(the chicken especially is very tasty). Definitely worth a stop if you are nearby.

This is a pretty decent place! Yes they have a buffet and you are not required to eat only buffet. I will say that the buffet is very good. The pizza they make is good and they will ask what type pizza you want? And they will bring you the first slice or how many you want? No fighting your way back to the buffet just to get a piece of what you wanted. They also have chicken on their buffet and is surprisingly good and the have mashed potatoes and gravy as well as the fixins you would have with chicken. They also have a salad bar too! Every time I have been here the food has been good. –Brent

My wife and I love this Pizza chain. I like to have them make a Supreme with jalapenos for me. When it is done, they bring it out to the table and serve it first to the person ordering it, then they will take the rest and put it onto the buffet. One thing that I really like about the chain is that their pizzas are not greasy. Their ice cream is SUPER thick and creamy… it is GREAT !!! The only thing I can knock them on is that the ice cream only comes in vanilla.(And I realize that that is a really minor thing ! ;)) Excellent place.

I wouldn’t even give this place 1 star to be honest. The food was beyond disgusting it was WAY overpriced everything was cold it was the worst restaurant I have ever been to and I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone the only good thing about it was the staff was nice

We had the buffet & were very impressed. It was a great deal for the price. Pizza & cheese sticks were amazing. I was pleasantly surprised that a pizza joint would have such juicy, delicious chicken. You can order a specific pizza even if you get the buffet which was really nice. Everything we put on our plates was absolutely delicious but the dessert stole the show. The ice cream doesn’t look like much but it’s really good. The cactus bread was hands down the best thing. Everyone went back for seconds of that cactus bread!

The pizza is good. The fried chicken is awesome! I’d pick the fried chicken here over any other place I can think of. Service is always friendly, too.

We were traveling through Hutch area and found Pizza Ranch on Unilocal-friendly service, delicious variety of hot pizza on the buffet, clean facility and good music. Glad we found it and we’ll be back!

$ 12 for a pizza buffet is pretty pricey. But it’s pretty good. Nice salad bar for a pizza buffet. Nice pizza selection, and even some regular fried chicken and mashed potatos and such for losers that don’t like pizza. A few days before I went I had issues with my car and needed some water for my radiator, came in at the lunch rush and they let me fill up a couple of jugs in the bathroom. So they are good folks.

I went into the restaurant hungry. I was met with a buffet with many different choices of pizza, fried chicken and salads. The pizza was very tasty, and the fried chicken was excellent. The price was very reasonable, the restaurant clean, and the employees were friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back.

Cute restaurant. We ordered take out and headed on home with a thin crust pepperoni, some cheese sticks and their«cactus bread»(cinnamon covered dessert type pizza). Everything was really yummy. The thin crust was super crisp and delicious! I’d come back to sample the buffet next time I’m in Hutch.

Wide variety of buffet choices. Price is reasonable for an all you can eat buffet. Gluten free pizza crust is available. The pizzas have to be ordered separately and are not included in buffet due to contamination issues. Always efficient service. Salad bar is a little weak, but nothing unexpected for the price

Visiting from out of town, my sister suggested Pizza Ranch, which I had never tried before. There’s a nice salad bar, the Cheesy Ranch Sticks were great, and the meat-eaters in the group were happy with an unusually good selection of pizzas. I noticed that there was no cheese or veggie pizza on the buffet, so I asked the nearest employee if they would have any cheese or veggie coming out soon. This lady turned out to be Leslie, one of the owners, who then followed me back to my table to be sure which toppings and crust I would like. I opted for the Prairie Veggie, on thin crust, and a few minutes later, Leslie delivered the pizza directly to our table for as many pieces as we’d like before taking it to the buffet. The pizza was good and hot, and I look forward to returning to Pizza Ranch on my next trip to Hutchinson!
