Not cool. My 3 year old daughter and I arrived 3 minutes prior to closing, lights were on and Open sign was on. We walked up to the door and it was locked, tow ladies stood there and just looked at us and said they were closed despite the sign and despite the time. My daughter was so disappointed and it wasn’t even 8pm yet, which was closing time per the hand-written hours sign taped to the door. Very rude and very unprofessional. I like to shop small businesses but it’s moments like this that make me continue to go to chain restaurants where you know you will get the service you deserve. Bad job, Pink Penguin, not cool at all. Shame on you.

I like coming here, they have a good selection of yogurt and toppings and the store is always clean. I do feel like the yogurt is a little melted when it comes out of the machine, but not to a point where I won’t return. This is a cute little yogurt shop for my sweet tooth fix.

Much better than fro yo. I really like their vanilla custard swirled with kiwi strawberry sorbet.

This place is adorable and super yummy! The tables were clean and the place smelled good when we walked in. The yogurt is much better than Fro Yo. We will be coming here again!

This place has a really good choice of frozen yogurt and changes every so often. It’s kid friendly and pretty clean. I would recommend to stop by when your in the mood for something sweet. Oh and there family owned and always friendly. So no one born over seas there trying to make a buck making you feel like the next person in line. Seams like there is so many places like that now a days. Give it a shot you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

I take my kids here a couple of times a year. I don’t think the yogurt is as good as I’ve had other places, but it is close and locally owned. My kids like the variety of toppings they offer, and I like that the establishment is always clean and not crazy busy.

Been here twice just to kill time. Yogurt was watery and not at all creamy they do not have a lot of flavor to choose from. The atmosphere was ok. Please change this imitated yogurt. Looks more like stuff you get at sirloin stockade soft serve-mediocre.

Cute little place to grab a quick cool down treat. The ambience is nice and quiet. Wish they had a few more yogurt selections, though.

I don’t go here often but I never had a problem until today. As I am assembling my cup, once I get to the end with the syrups and some of the other toppings… I asked could I remake my entire cup. Reason being because the toppings with the scoop already inside had gnats/fruitflies in the container. The bigger containers with scoops on top were free of them. I will not be returning. After I mentioned there were bugs in the smaller containers, they should have been immediately removed but they weren’t. Then the first cup I made she just let it sit there. Yeah, just leave it out so the gnats could feed more

The yogurt is good, I give that more stars, like 4. But the fact that they will not take returns on merchandise, and deleted my post on their FB page complaining about that has me vowing not to go back. I expected an apology or explanation, or maybe even a change of heart about not taking back the items I don’t want, but not a deletion. I asked my husband to stop & see if they had any stuffed hippos that would make cute gifts for our two girls. He purchased what they had, explaining that they didn’t have much selection and didn’t think I’d like them. He knew I was bathing our girls & couldn’t look at my phone, so he just bought what they had. I didn’t like them, they were crazy-colored hippos with swirls all over and didn’t really look very hippo-ish. My 3yr old loves«I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas,» so I thought it would be cute to have a couple stuffed hippos under the tree for my girls. These weren’t it at all. But when I tried to return them the girl there had to call her boss & then came back & said they don’t accept returns on merchandise. I wish that would have been explained to my husband when her was purchasing them, or that there was at least a sign posted or something. I am extremely disappointed, and I’m stuck with $ 23 in ugly hippos that I don’t want.

Okay in all honesty this place has CRAPPY yogurt. It’s way to watery and looks like diarrhea coming out of the machines. Pretty damn gross. The custard was okay but below average. The toppings all tasted old. You pay about the same as other yogurt places. I REALLY want to say I’d never go back but considering that my family and I just moved to Hutto and there is nothing else here… I might return. I think I rather drive to university for better yogurt though.

Average variety of flavors/toppings… Friendly, but not overbearing counter help and cutesy ambiance.

Me and my family used to go all the time because they would change out the flavors a lot so it gave you a fun variety. The flavors slowly started to stay about the same. We went last night(8÷6÷14) with my family about 30 minutes before closing and they were very busy. So by the time we paid we had about 10 minutes to eat then about 3 – 4 minutes before closing the girl working said«just wanted to let you know we are closing in a few minutes». Ok! She then proceeds to sweep and start putting things away. By this time the other family there had walked out and she followed them and locked the door. It was 9pm which was closing time. We were all almost done and again she reminds us and says«just wanted to let you know we are closed and you can just unlocked the door when your ready». Wow!!! She made me and my family feel like we were being kicked out. She just seemed a little pushy. If and when we decide to return we will make sure this time it’s not close to closing time so we don’t feel like a burden.

My boys and I were craving something cool and sweet today and decided to stop in at the Pink Penguin despite the mixed reviews. Let me start off by saying that the yogurt is in no way«gritty». Is it rich and creamy like ice cream? No. It’s yogurt. And most of the flavours offered today were fat-free or low-fat which needs to be take into consideration. With that said, the flavour choices were kind of an odd but eclectic mix of French vanilla, vanilla custard, chocolate, Alaskan moose tracks, strawberry shortcake, blueberry cheesecake, peanut butter and one more that apparently didn’t make an impression on me. I was happy with my French vanilla and my oldest seemed to really like the Alaskan moose tracks. The mix-ins were fresh and included a range of popular toppings like Reese’s peanut butter cups, cookie dough, granola, pecans, crushed Oreos, Fruity Pebbles, and even gummy worms. And then the classic toppings as well. Take all that AND throw in a decent price?! Sounds like a winner to me . P. S. I am not a friend of the owners nor do I live in Hutto.

I love this place. Great flavors to pick from. Yummy toppings. They even have all kinds of syrups to top it off. Bright and very clean. Love the cute toys they have for sale. My favorite yogurt place for sure.

This place is very clean. Usually younger staff so not as full service but decent. The product is delish. Not busy so easy to get service.

Let’s get real. Reviews must be by family and friends because the«yogurt» is ice water and yes gritty. Flavor wise it’s a one but pretty good toppings. Wish it was better cause it’s nice to shop local non chain places

Such a cute little place in Hutto! It was clean and the yogurt was delicious with a wide array of toppings. There is even a cute little area in the front corner of the shop for your kids to play at the table. This will be a place my family will definitely frequent!

Very good! They always mix up their frozen yogurt options and the selection of toppings is incredible! My 9-year old is trying to pass a law in our house to have frozen yogurt Fridays! Go try it out!

Gotta love some Hutto! Great self serve icecream shop and I am told the flavors rotate weekly. Got some boutique type stuff for sale and yes it is staffed by HS kiddos but if you need help in an icecream shop you have bigger problems
