We had a table right by the pool on such as lovely day. I think the food is a bit overpriced here, but it was pretty good. The location was one of the best parts since there was a pool and it is right next to the marina.

Well aren’t you a little fun bar? There’s literally a pool… There’s no swim up bar, but all the tables are surrounding the pool. Pretty fun. Apparently this place can get hoppin. The food was ok. The servers were friendly… pretty sure they have«pretty young white female» as part of the job description. It’s right on the water so there’s a good view and a nice breeze. It’s not anything fancy, but a good place to stop by for lunch or party it up at night.

Our bachelorette party came here this past weekend since all of the Unilocal reviews were mostly great, but unfortunately we were left with a very sour experience after leaving Trader Ed’s. We were met at the door with a $ 5 cover fee, even though the entire bar was mostly empty on a Friday evening at 10pm(although they did waive the fee for the bride). The DJ played some great music & the dance floor was scarce with people so we were able to dance the night away. The great times would have continued if it had not been for a specific female waitress & the owner. The female waitress came up to our group with the line, «Who’s the bride?! Let me get you guys something!!! «We all assumed that this would be on the house, considering we were all dancing & not even NEAR the bar nor did any of us have drinks in our hands. She brought us back a round of shots, as per the brides request & continued to do so two more times. At the third round, she decided to slip in, «let me know who to give the check to». At $ 8 per shot for 9 of us, and three rounds… the end result wasn’t cheap. This seemed to be quite the theme at Trader Ed’s, because the owner himself knew how to scheme the crowd. After drunkenly prancing around the bar with his microphone, announcing that there would be a dance competition & whoever won would get a $ 50 gift card. Well, turns out our bride«won» the dance competition, and when she went to go claim her prize the owner simply scoffed at her. Specifically, he pointed to a yacht and said, «You see that yacht over there? I want that yacht, but I can’t have it. We can’t always have what we want, get it?» He then told her he would take us all over to the bar and buy us $ 50 worth of shots, but after the experience we had with the waitress and her false advertisements we didn’t want to run the risk. LONGSTORYSHORT. Go somewhere else. There are plenty of places in town that are way more entertaining(Beech Tree) and much less slimy.

This weekend was the second time that I have been to Trader Ed’s. We were there for a bachelorette party and decided to give it a try. It’s definitely a party place during the later hours which is what we were looking for on this ocassion. My husband and I and our two kids(4&1) are in the cape a lot and it’s not the type of place that we would go to as a family but it was fine for a bachelorette party… until the end of the night. We had thirteen girls with us and three of us(me and my two sisters) had some trouble getting a cab. We had called about 45 minutes before the bar was closing but come closing time the cab was not there yet. Along with a few other customers waiting for rides, we were asked to wait on the back of the building because they had a gate they needed to close. We complied with the request and called the cab company again to let them know where we would be waiting. Then, the drunk owner came out back and was so incredibly rude to me and my two sisters. He was screaming, yelling, swearing at us, scolding us for not calling a cab earlier. He was totally wasted and absolutely out of control. We did not know what to do so we just stayed quiet and did what he asked(no sense in trying to reason or argue with someone in that state). He made us cross the street and stand on the other side to wait for our cab. I was so appauled by the way he was acting but there was not much we could do that late at night. I certainly wasn’t going to argue with him as we were now alone with him and his security guard who told us he was going to do whatever the boss told him to do as he herded us across the street behind the bar. The security guard was nice enough to warn us that cars go about 60 mph down this back street that we were on and that we should stand as far back as we could(there was only about a 4 foot strip of grass before a fence that was blocking us from moving back any further). He was absolutely right, it was dangerous to be where we were. After a little while, we asked if we could cut through the parking lot to go and see if our cab was waiting in the front. We were told«no» and that we would have to walk around the block, about 1.5 miles, to get back to the front. I wanted to cry, my sister did cry, finally our cab came! Don’t give this jerk your money. There are plenty of nice places on the cape.

If I could give 6 stars I would! This is the best place on earth. I got engaged here last night and she said MAYBE! All of the servers are spicey babes and make me feel important and happy. Free valet… I mean come on, best case!

Trader Eds was first on our stop of bar hopping for a bachelorette night out. The Bar tenders were extremely welcoming and nice! They even gave us a free round of shots to celebrate. :) Not only that but the owner called ahead to another bar to make sure we would be well received there and avoid paying a cover! I would definitely recommend going here. So friendly and nice!

If you want to receive good quality customer service I do not recommend you come here. The management is absolutely absurd, rude, and disrespectful. Don’t plan on getting a good bartender either. I will never come back to this bar/restaurant.

This place is Great The food is better than you would expect Much Better & it is fun day or night. Right on the water at Hyannis Marina. Bring the kids in the afternoon for a swim & food or come at night for great music and fun events . FYI I have never seen the pool open at night I think it is a safety thing . If your in the hyannis area this is a great no miss place for Swim, fun, music & drinks.

Just a heads up about their valet on Monday nights… THEYLEAVEYOURKEYSINYOURCARUNLOCKED!!! If you park in the lot, you have no option but to valet. Very annoying, I can park my car myself. When I noticed them just running to the cars and opening the doors, no valet stand/key box, that’s when it clicked. I asked the valet and he confirmed with me and then proceeded to argue that they have security cameras. Yea, when all your shit is already stolen! There’s so many access points to that loy!

It not the business that’s the problem but the owner. My friends and I wanted to go to the S.I.N. Nights so we were handed by the bar, a VIP pass for a Monday. So we go to get in line, the owner(drunk as hell) comes up to us and says I’m not letting you in and started giving us a hard time about how we got our passes. I would have been OK with the yelling but don’t yell in my face and my friend’s faces with your drunk breath so he kinda screwed up the night for us really but after we got inside we sat down. I noticed everyone who works here is drunk? I thought you were suppose to make money not drink it away and what’s with the stuck up bartender(drunker then the bottle holding the liquor haha) at the little bar near the pool? The owner gave him too much power to throw people he doesn’t like out of the bar. And what’s with the«dance contest» I thought it was a «dance contest» not a twerk contest? This place isn’t good and any right minded person could feel it isn’t a good place to party/relax

Stopped in this weekend after a friend told us about it, A friend and I had lunch and a couple of rum inspired drinks. I had a fish sandwich and my friend had grilled chicken it was all very good, reasonable and the waitress was very pleasant. We were there pretty early so it was quiet but the bartender was very nice when we asked questions about the area and we will definetly go next time we are at the cape.

Perfect for ‘happy hour’ which easily turns into an 11pm night! Friendly locals and the BEST bartenders. Burgers are delicious and the coconut shrimp are scrumptious.

Trader Eds is the best Cape Cod bar there is. The waterfront atmosphere there is beautiful. The marina is great and you can always bet you will see some gorgeous yachts while you enjoy a great meal by the pool. The service is phenomenal every time we go. Both lunch and dinner meals are delicious. I often order the tuna melt or fresh fish and they are always amazing. My husband gets the steak tips all the time and he said they are the best steak tips he’s ever had. We go there every summer to enjoy the beautiful views and the great service and food! Do yourself a favor and visit Trader Eds!

Don’t eat there. Paper plates and plastic ware. Don’t go there for thursday night lobster dinners they advertise 5 – 9 pm. We were the second party there at 5:00PM and they asked if we had reserved a lobster… huh? The next party in said they would be getting the lobster dinner. After getting their drinks the waitress came back out and said they didn’t have any lobsters left. So they left and she still charged them for the drinks. Staff is really clueless when it comes to the food but dress as prostitutes to compensate(I didn’t know they made dresses that short).

Let me preface this by saying that we called WAY ahead to alert the bar that we would be coming for a Bachelorette Party with around 20 girls. We got there and waited and waited and waited for someone to come get our drinks. Some people got their drinks after 5 minutes others waited 45 minutes. At that point I was ready to leave but traveling in that large of a group is not easy. Our server told us this was her first time serving and she was working on her skills. Who gives a Bachelorette party of 20 a brand new server? So it came time to order our food, only half the food came out after about a half hour, people were still waiting for their drinks. Another 45 minutes passed and we had to call the manager to get the remainder of the food, which the server«forgot» to put some of it in. The manager trashed on the cook in the kitchen and how awful the kitchen is and the cook only has one eye… SERIOUSLY! Just say sorry and move on. We finally got our food and it was awful but barely edible… needless to say we did not stay there for the night and would NEVER go back.

Yuuuuuuuuuck. Did I go to a different place than the other reviewers? A friend brought us here, he said we’d like it. When we left we asked him«Were you drunk when you came here? What part of it did you think we’d like?» Bad ambience(depressing concrete pool area, tightly packed tables of white resin), bad food(sh*tty microwaved frozen garbage), bad service(sweet young girls, pleasant, but rushing around like crazy, actually RUNNING at times… it wasn’t that busy). Never again.

As a native of South Florida, I’ve considerable expertise with waterfront drinking. Pretty simple formula, most believe; take open water, add alcohol. But nay good sir. There’s more than a fine line separating whalers slowly tipping tall boys by the wharf, the bronzed and picturesque quaffing martinis on the rocky beaches of the French Riviera, gringos and locals alternating between napping and shooting mezcal in Tijuana and, well, how ever you’d describe the shit that goes down in South Beach. That said, if you slam the atmospheric apple corer over the latter and shift the little nugget to the Cape, you’ve got yourself Trader Ed’s. While the beautiful, sparkly-pocketed staff can afford to be curt and catty, they aren’t. Quite the opposite, in fact, as Allie defined service with a smile — quick with a joke and(when the sun shifted) the pair of designer shades off her head. Food’s moderate and the mixed specialty drinks read straight from a seaside frat menu. Basic and powerful, the $ 7 – 8 price tag doesn’t hit the wallet as quickly as the alcoholic suntan will turn you into one. Probably not my scene if under a roof, but because it ain’t, I’d definitely swing by again.

This is a lunch review. It’s our habit to find a cheap and fun place to eat on Fridays, and Trader Ed’s was our pick this week. Trader Ed’s at Hyannis Harbor is a bit of a chameleon. First, it’s somewhat hard to find being tucked in toward the back of the Hyannis Harbor parking lot. Secondly, it apparently changes with the time of day, from a chill harbor-side lunch spot to a happening night club as the sun goes down. It was not busy during the lunch hour on this particular Friday. The menu is a decent selection of sandwiches and dinners, all very reasonably priced for this prime location. I had a barbecue chicken sandwich and my partner had a tuna melt, plus two sodas(and a ton of free refills) for a total of $ 30(before tip). The service was frequent and friendly. We didn’t check out the bar, although it looked inviting and fun(I had to go back to work). We’ll be back.

I would give Trader Ed’s the fifth star if they just had a better beer selection. This place is a delight. Tucked away in a marina, overlooking Hyannis harbor. It has its own pool. It’s incredibly airy. You HAVE to sit at the bar to eat. It reminds me of a place at which they would have hung out in «Wings»… but more modern, obviously. No pleated pants. Clientele ranges from wicked rich people who have their boats parked in the marina to your Cape Cod local. You HAVE to try the steak tip sandwich. It’ll rock your world.
