Terrible. More expensive than Lenscrafters at Pentagon Mall. Hand written prescription is barely legible, and it was made out for a different contact lens than he provided me with, which makes ordering more impossible. Will not be returning.

If I could give no star I would. This review is regarding the doctors office, not Lens Crafters. I have gone here as well as my mother and both times they have charged us BS $ 90 fees. They will cheat you into paying them for any service even if you leave with nothing. I would not recommend anyone go here. I am in the process of complaining to Lens Crafters Corporate Office because this is ridiculous.

Friendly staff, but they dilated my eyes and made me wait an HOUR to be seen by the optometrist. Ridiculous considering I had an appointment.

As if it were not possible to receive worse than terrible service Lens Crafters have outdone themselves in poor service. My daughter returned for her follow up visit today. Learning for experience she showed up only 15mins ahead of her scheduled time… and although there were few other people there she was not seen until nearly two hours past her scheduled time. And after being charged $ 155 for the premium contact lens exam on the first visit she was armed and ready for bogus charges… after all this was just supposed to be a trip to follow up on the contact lens comfort. After refusing a «highly recommended procedure» that had she not asked she would’ve been charged an additional $ 90 she still signed up to receive some BS $ 40 service; because she declined the $ 90 service when she was asking about the purpose/value of the $ 30 service this JERK of a doctor told her«everything is not free» and declined to give her the $ 30 procedure. When she got to the front to check out good old Glenda asked for $ 30 and my daughter said for what? She said for the service you signed for. My daughter told her the doctor declined to preform it; and as if my daughter was lying she said she had to confirm with the doctor… I guess they don’t write or read visit notes at this facility. The doc just happened to be coming up front at the same time and when Glenda asked he all of a sudden had a moment of clarity and realized that he was rude for no reason. Glenda insisted on rescheduling my daughter wouldn’t go back to that unprofessional and rude establishment if they paid her. I would not send a dog to this joke of a place she is also providing a more detailed report and her a copy of her reciepts to the better business bureau and The Board of Examiners in Optometry.

This is the SLOWEST LensCrafters I have ever been to. My appointment was at 3:30p and the doctor didn’t come to see me until 4:35p. On top of that, the doctor lectured me first thing about wearing my contacts for too long and for not getting an eye exam in 2 years. I mean, I know, but now I don’t want to come back to see him since that was the first thing he had to say. He was very curt with me and didn’t seem all that polite. Also, since you are here for so long, they don’t have a bathroom for you to use and you will have to go to target to use it, while you wait an additional 30+ minutes for your eyes to dilate. I came back a week later to pick up my glasses. I had gotten frames as a gift which I had fitted for lenses. They insinuated that I stole the frames and said I could not pick up my glasses until I spoke with a manager. Then they told me to come back in 6 hrs for the manager to check the security tapes to make sure I didn’t walk out with them the last time I was there. Obviously, the tapes didn’t show a damn thing and I was able to get my glasses. But I will never go back here.

This place is great, the retail aspect was fantastic. The saleswoman knew exactly what she was doing and even when I had to return them(didn’t fit) the return was hassle free . Top customer service of all these discount glasses chains !

I made the mistake of getting my eye exam done by the in store doctor(Vaxsmonsky at the time) and I was charged $ 450. I was in a pinch because I go to school at the University of Maryland and I needed new contacts asap. However, these people took advantage and overcharged me for a shifty eye exam. Two months later I contacted them to see if they could redo my exam because my contacts were giving me headaches. They said that it was too late and that it was my fault for not figuring that out sooner. I explained that I was rushed by Vaxsmonsky and he was very rude during the process, the woman stated that I should have not completed the exam in that case and gone somewhere else.
