Best pizza around Long Beach area. Well worth the drive. However they are closing for the winter, so you will have to wait until March to enjoy.

Found this place using Unilocal.Really impressed with the service and atmosphere. Food was really good overall. The biscuits in my dish were a bit dry for me, but I enjoyed what I had otherwise. Hubby’s blueberry pancakes and home fries with gravy were really good. We will be going back!

Ordered half meat and half mushroom pizza. Crust was delicious as was the sauce. A little more ingredients would earn them 5 stars. Owner very friendly. The place is very clean. Disappointed that there were no cannoli’s. Venue is basically a convenience store with pizza.

Great pizza! They forgot our Mac n cheese so we had to edit longer for us all to eat. Small kitchen, she was very busy though!

Great pizza. Great service. Great location. The barbecue chicken pizza was outstanding, along with the meat lovers. The owner was very pleasant and willing to please. It was a perfect ending to a very hungry day. I will always go back when I’m in the area.

So this pizza is AWESOME! Went yesterday with my sister and brother in law. Can’t wait to take my family there next time I go. They’ll love it. The mac n cheese was good. It needs a little love but, hey, it’s really a pizza joint and that was seriously awesome!

What a great find in such an unusual location(camping at Cape Disappointment). The pizza was incredible, with the best crust I can remember. But what really impressed me was the superb attention to the customers paid by the staff and business owner — what a Gentleman in every sense of the word. If only all businesses were run with such care. .. ..

I find it hilarious that people from Washington who most likely have never been to New York let alone east of Spokane say that this is the best pizza in town. It’s not hard to have the best of anything in a small town like Ilwaco. And most Washingtonians don’t know good pizza unless they’re well traveled or are transfers from the north east. How in the world did such great pizza end up in «tiny town» south Long Beach, wa? You’ll have to ask the man himself when you go here. THIS is NY style pizza. Home away from home for any north easterners who happen to be vacationing in the area. And if you are a north easterner relocated and currently living in the Seattle area, frustrated at the quality of pizza except for a few rare places(mostly Capitol Hill only), then as a true New Yorker might say… «wtf?» minus the acronym. But happy to have found this place while on vacation. And it’s a scenic little drive while visiting lighthouses or camping in the area.

This is truly serious pizza! The selection of fresh ingredients is impressive – all the more so given that they are located right outside Cape Disappointment park and they could just rest on laurels serving cheap, passable pizza. But no; not at Serious Pizza in the Cape D store. Quality pizza – the Quattro Formagi with the Gorgonzola is just amazing. This will be a pilgrimage every time we are in the area for sure!

Best pizza in town! I’m craving for it right now. The owners are super helpful in providing visitors with information on the town. Pizzas are all hand tossed with fresh ingredients. They have outdoor seating, we grab pizza and beer, and enjoy the state park.

Never would have noticed this place if not for the high reviews; it looks like a bait shop at first glance; it’s basically a convenience store that also happens to offer incredible, fresh pizza. We had the Earth Pie and the owner was so pleased we ordered it; shortly after it came out, he came by with some sea salt from the kitchen as a finishing option. Truly an exceptional pie. Pick a beer or soda from the cooler, or a single serving wine to round it out. They are open until 8p but stop taking orders at 7p, The ice cream category is a stretch; they have a cold case of prepackaged bars like any convenience store. Normally I’d dock the review a star for the complete lack of ambience and the ice cream issue, but since the pizza is really 6 stars, it averages out.

So happy we stopped in here during our visit to Cape Disappointment State Park! The pizza is wood fired and amazing! We split a large, I had the Hawaiian and the marinara sauce is so sweet and yummy! My boyfriend had the chicken Alfredo and he was so happy with it. We are the entire pizza in one sitting! If you are camping here they will even deliver if your order is over $ 20.

This pizza is so tasty! Amazing crust and fresh delicious ingredients. The owner was so kind. We drove into the park from Long Beach and while we waited for our pizza he gave us directions for a walk to a beautiful beach spot. Definitely takes some time but worth the wait!!!

5 stars on the pizza and the owners! This is top notch thin crust pizza with a great selection. We had Margarita and Hawaiian. The owners were lovely and very friendly. The arugula salad was okay. Maybe tossed would have been better. Make the drive down to give em a try!

First of all, this place gets four stars automatically for being in the middle the park. They can deliver pizza to your campsite for god’s sake! Even mediocre pizza would still be awesome camping. But, fortunately this pizza is really good. Let me break it down for you as only an ex-pat New Yorker can. First off is the crust. It is one of the best crusts I had west of the Mississippi. Lightly charred on the bottom, thin but not too thin, chewy but not too tough. As an extra bonus, it even holds up well cold the next day! I only wish my favorite chain in Portland, Pizzicato, was half as good at making crust. Second, the sauce. Not overly used, fresh and tangy. Solid New York style. Wouldn’t change a thing. Third, the toppings. Very good fresh high-quality ingredients. Absolutely no complaints. Minor negatives include the price… But I have no problem paying extra for convenience and quality & you get that in spades here. There is a bit of crust creep times… Meaning that the width of the crust sometimes is a bit large for the size of the pie, which is a little small. Again, minor gripe. The salads are decent, not great, and also bit on the small size. But that’s not what you’re here for. The owner Jim, is one of the nicest, most helpful people you’ll ever meet anywhere. Has really good advice about utilizing the park. The store that this pizza place is located in has a good assortment of Park necessities like beer, snacks and ice.

We wanted pizza but unfortunately we had pizza at another joint the night before. We ordered the Mac and cheese with steamers and it was excellent. This place is a gem. They had just about everything for the campers near by and the tourist coming up to see the light house’s. I would much rather come her to dine than the place in Ilwaco. We are so glad we found this place. The owner was friendly and the service was good. The only complaint I have; I wish the garlic bread with the steamers were thicker(maybe Texas toast) to mop up the clam juice. :)
