The customer service is awful. I called to place an order for delivery and the girl who was taking down my information had no idea what she was doing and I could barely hear her. She told me the pizza would take 45 minutes. About 30 minutes later they call me saying they don’t deliver to my area… Okay? So they give me the number to the store that does deliver to my area… I call this number. And they don’t deliver here either. Now I’m on the phone on a Sunday and have been on hold for over 10 minutes. Definitely not ordering pizza from here ever again.

My fiancé has a soft spot for Papa John’s bread sticks and Papa John’s has had some really good deals going on as of late. One night a week or so ago, my fiancé ordered pizza online and waited about twenty minutes before heading down the street to this location. When we got there to pick up our order, it wasn’t finished, so we had to wait a little while longer. No big deal. The big deal, however, were the people making the pizzas. There was a guy working there with a horse shoe ring in his septum and another in his nostril with nothing securing them in his nose; the rings didn’t have the balls screwed on. Being a person who has several facial piercings, this may sound a little hypocritical but I would know better than to be so negligent. He really should not be wearing such jewelry while handling food for the public. Any amount of moisture in his nose could have very easily caused his jewelry to fall out and into someone’s pizza. After reading about a woman in Georgia who found a similar ring in her daughter’s breakfast burrito, I shuddered at the sight of his unsecured facial jewelry. There’s a reason several food establishments do not allow facial piercings. Either Papa John’s is one of the few exceptions or the manager at this particular location is careless. Another problem I had was that the girl who was handling the dough wiped her nose and rubbed her eyes and continued to handle the dough. She didn’t wash her hands or anything, just continued touching food as if she hadn’t just potentially and probably spread hundreds of germs to the person receiving the pizza when it was baked. I don’t know if the employees/manager at this location find it acceptable to be so disgusting and careless or if it’s just Papa John’s in general, but I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon. 4÷26÷13 — We ordered our pizza at 5:20pm and when we arrived at 5:50pm, it still wasn’t done. It wasn’t until 6:40pm that we finally got our pizza and were on our way home. We weren’t the only ones waiting an hour + either. There were several other people in there complaining about the wait. Yes, it’s Friday, and that may have worked as a valid excuse if the people making the pizzas weren’t moving at the speed of a herd of turtles. 5÷8÷14 — I know I keep saying I hate this location but I think my fiancé finally started hating them too after he found several olives in his pizza. I ordered olives on mine, he did not. There shouldn’t have been any on it but hidden underneath the delicious melty cheese were enough olives to make him throw out the rest of the pizza and write them off for good.
