Independence, MO
This is a fun little store to explore. They have everything from china and glassware to knick-​knacks, linens, handkerchiefs, books, jewelry, and a lot of other things I remember seeing in my grandmas’ homes (I’m in my 60’s). They also have a cool selection of reproductions of colorful, humorous metal signs; and a number of very nice handmade crafts items. The people working there are friendly and helpful, and make the experience a pleasure.

The only reason I would go back is to show my wife the place. There was nothing that really caught my eye other than some books (and I really don’t need more books). The back was jackets for the school, so I’m not sure if this place doubles as a print shop as well. It was kind of a disappointment judging from the outside, but that’s why we shouldn’t do that kind of judging.
