Wendy’s

I have fairly expectations from a national fast food chain. This Wendy’s managed to slither under even that. I waited half and hour for a value cheeseburger. The kitchen seemed to moving a snail’s pace, The manager on duty, I can only assume, was part of a program to hire the mentally deficient. His name was Norman, I believe.

One of 3 cars in the drive thru and total of 8 in the parking lot. In line nearly 20 minutes. You can go to a sit down restaurant for almost same price and time involved. Unreal.

I like this place. It’s not perfect but out of all the places on Noland Road there are to eat the people at this Wendy’s I’ve seen them clean and go around and greet the customers who are eating. It’s got a pretty relaxed vibe and some pretty good coffee. The baked potatoes are always cooked well and the side of chili I get is pretty good too. I also like that they aren’t stingy when you ask for an extra side.

This Wendy’s does try, but not very hard. Went here for lunch with good friends because we had Coupons. For a Tuesday at 1pm we didn’t think it would be too bad. Wrong! It took about 30 – 40 minutes before we got all of our meals. The food was fine, but we were very hungry by the time it got there. The poor clerk did warn us that one chicken sandwich would take longer to cook. But still, they need to hire some more help so one clerk is not frantic at the front counter.
My mother and I got a frosty a few days later and it took about 15 minutes for the clerk to get to making it. She said she had to get food for drive through, and the chocolate frosty maker was in back.
I only recommend going here late at night when there is no rush, or try a different location.

I tried to get a sub at Hy-​Vee up the road and they were out. It’s 11:30 at night and not a lot of choices. I never go to Wendy’s because they suck SO HARD anymore. They used to have juicy burgers and my second favorite fries. Now they serve cold, dried up, piss poor excuse for meat, fries that are tasteless and (to quote Ramsey) limp as my grandad’s willy. But I was willing to try the new Smoked Gouda Chicken Sandwich. First, the fries were as expected… gross. My Dr Pepper ended up being a Coke. The chicken sandwich was dry and overloaded with mayo and onions to the point I couldn’t taste anything else. Couldn’t finish it.
I can’t believe Wendy’s is doing as well as they are. It will be a long, long, long time before I eat at one again. Gas stations have better food than this crap!

Awful! I haven’t gone to Wendy’s in a very long time, and I was reminded why. Waste of money, my bacon cheese burger on pretzel bun was cold, it was disgusting! The bun was not fresh and my burger tasted like it has been sitting out. I definitely won’t be going back…

I have basically given up fast food, but I was starving and pulled over to this Wendy’s on Noland Road. The staff was great, but the food was bizarre. I had the traditional chicken sandwich combo and a Hi-​C to drink. The chicken tasted fine, but the bun tasted like play dough. The fries were terribly over salted with sea salt. I couldn’t taste the fries, and the sea salt stuck to my teeth. I needed a good flossing. The Hi-​C had a metallic aftertaste. Needless to say, it all gave me devastating heartburn…
And I had nightmares all night about people stabbing me behind the back, or lying to me.
So that was awesome.
I usually love some Wendy’s, but this 9pm run to the drive thru was a bust.

This location isn’t big on customer service. The Wendy’s chain as a whole provides a very good product. Unfortunately, this location has difficulty finding good help.

I don’t know why I did this. …never ever again. I was told to pull into a parking spot and wait for the meat and potatoes, after making an order, and I did. I waited over 10 minutes, and received cold food, server saying, «Oops we thought you ordered something else.» All the food had been sitting a while. So, I was very tired, and aptly so as my regular complaints about poor service goes… Facebook, Unilocal,and Google +. And, this time, contacted the headquarters. This place is horrid.

This is probably the worst Wendy’s I’ve ever been to. I don’t go to Wendy’s very often because, quite frankly, their food is disgusting and barely a step up from dog food, but I certainly will not go back to this one because their employees are ridiculous and rude.
I wish I got paid to be an unnecessary jerk to everyone or to seemingly forfeit my duties as a server to the public whenever I felt like it.
Ignoring your customers, or just getting hateful with them when you can’t figure out how to work your own register, is not a good way to get customers.
