We checked into our hotel late last night and were unsure where to eat. This is conveniently located in the Hyatt and is open until 10PM. The shrimp penne pasta and crab linguine are good choices. Request a table outside if possible. It was nice listening to music while enjoying the warm weather. There are heat lamps if it gets cold. Our server was efficient as we never had to ask for a refill and the check was brought out in a timely manner.

Lantana has a very diverse menu, with things for both adventurous and picky eaters. The bacon wrapped figs stuffed with goat cheese were the best part of my meal! Pasta dishes were also very good. Just a note: the menu is also available from the Agave Sunset bar which is just across the way. The outside patios at Lantana and Agave were both quite pleasant. The heat lamps were a nice touch since it did get just a tad chilly after the sun went down. What really made this meal worthwhile, however, was the service. We actually stayed at the Hyatt Regency and this was the best service we had during our entire stay, though I’m not sure if that says a lot about the restaurant or very little about the hotel.

Tacos were great! And our server George was just delightful! This restraint has something for everyone

Great meal, Jose, our waiter was magnificent! We really enjoyed all the offerings. I had the Salmon and decided to add calamata olives to the roasted spinach, tomatoes & mushrooms. A great addition to the grilled salmon.

Our parents took us out to enjoy a nice dinner for the Christmas holiday on Thursday. The decorations at the Hyatt wrestle a gorgeous the start of the dinner at Lantana was good the artichokes were amazing the drinks are on point. All up until the food was served everybody’s food was absolutely amazing tasted delicious I ordered the scallops and shrimp over grits and when I bit into the scallop all I could taste was ammonia in my mouth. Now any good Chef knows that when the scallops or shrimp or any type of seafood smells like ammonia after it’s been cooked it is not to be served because it is bad. When I complained and send it back I was asked if they could remake something unfortunately at that point the dinner and I’ve been ruined for me I said no thank you. I was not upset to the fact that this it happen things do go wrong especially when restaurants are not super busy I should’ve known better not to order the seafood. When I was upset about was when the bill came we were still build the $ 42 for the entrée even though I did not enjoy it and the reason why I did not enjoy it was because it was not fresh not because I just didn’t like it. With that said this is terrible customer service I am a local here in the desert and I will never go back to this restaurant for that one reason the management never came over to talk to us. It was if nobody really cared.

For dinner one of us had a steak, the other scallops and yours truly pasta. All three meals were terrific. But the chicken Caesar salads at lunch the next day fell short. Service was excellent with prices less than I expected for the venue. I’d go again.

This is the second time I’ve been here. The first time I was blown away by the food and service. This time we were served by the manager because a large group came in for lunch, we were served after the fact. My salad was so wilted, it looked stir-fried. The chicken on top was overdone. My plate also smelled like it was wiped with a dirty dishrag. It was pretty gross. I will rave about their Crème Brûlée, everything else is a hit or miss.

Let me start off by saying we ate breakfast here our entire stay. Yes, the food and service was that good! My husband had the eggs benedict, I had the steel cut oats with cherry compote and local honey, both our daughters had pancakes and everything was cooked and served to perfection! The wait staff very friendly and efficient; made conversation while serving our drinks, brought our food out right away, checked on us frequently and even remembered our conversation from the day before, very impressed!

Very good food, even better service! Made sure our drinks were never empty and offered us drinks to go, plates cleared right away. My wife likes vanilla creamer and they didn’t have any, our waitress offered to whip some up especially for her, other places just say no but she really took care of us. Places need more wait staff like Alicia(I think was her name)! Thank you for your great service!

This restaurant is in the Hyatt Regency in Indian Wells. Service and food was very good. Pretty costly but our breakfasts were free so no complaints. We also are here for dinner once, also complimentary. I had a pasta dish and my husband had steak and grilled ahrimp. Both were satisfying. The staff is very attentive.

The view is great. The pizza appetizer is tasty. The risotto balls aren’t worth getting. But never come on a holiday weekend. There were sooo many loud kids running around, and their parents couldn’t care less that people were trying to enjoy a nice meal. This place isn’t cheap by any means, so it’s not right to have your kids ruining the experience. It got better as the night went on and kids fell asleep, cuz as I said it’s a great view. We’d come back on an off weekend. Service was fairly terrible too. Waitress barely ever came by and when she did she’d leave before we could ask for anything.

We love Lantana! The food is consistantly amazing and the service is attentive. I ordered a spicy chicken salad which was delish and my husband has the California burger with chips(which were crispy not soggy). Definitely check out the breakfast as well which is lovely.

There Sunday brunch buffet is fabulous, and pastries are amazing. Great out door seating as well as inside. For lunch a Cobb salad or fish tacos(it’s on a different menu) For dinner I recommend the rib eye or sea bass. Nice service but in the summer make sure you sit inside or be attached by flys :)

Wow! Can’t believe this is a hotel restaurant. So elegant, so contemporary and such fine dining service. I am so glad we came here. We were at Mitch’s yesterday for dinner and it is night and day. Mitch’s seems like the menu hasn’t changed in years vs. the menu here was just changed today for the upcoming summer season. Everything seems to just work vs. Mitch’s seemed like a bunch of random menu items thrown together in a very dated presentation. Yummy bread basket with tempered butter and black olive butter. Wow! The herbivore pizza starter is wonderful! Yummy! We both got the Skuna Bay Salmon and oh my goodness!!! I don’t even really like fish much less Salmon! Wow. We will be back for sure.

The secret to dinner at Lantana is that the bar menu is also available upon request. The prices are somewhat more reasonable for pub grub, though the rib eye on the main menu was very tempting. Get the agave fries, though be sure to ask for the guac and sour cream on the side. Two fish tacos with mango and slaw rounded out the meal nicely, and the beer menu has excellent choices to pair. The burgers looked great, as did the sweet potato fries. The atmosphere and service are exemplary, with open air flames from numerous fireplaces and sconces, and staff who are top class.

I dined her on my last day at Palm Desert. The breakfast buffet was very luxurious. They had countless stations to create your own omelets, smoked salmon, arrays of bread, a wide variety of cereal choices, bloody mary, mimosas, & other breakfast related food. You can also order from the breakfast menu but many do the breakfast buffet. It was a high end breakfast to top off our relaxing weekend in Palm Desert. It definitely shaped the whole Hyatt experience of luxury especially since a lot of upper class men retired around the area. For 4 adults, we paid nearly a $ 100 for breakfast. As much as I enjoyed it, I would not go back. It was a good experience but my family was also part of the Regency Club. The Regency Club had very similar choices as the restaurant. Of course, the Regency Club did not have an omelet station. However, they were nearly similar in their breakfast food. The Regency Club does cost extra for your stay at the Hyatt but it is well worth your money in Hyatt’s Palm Desert.

For a quick lunch, I stopped by Lantana at the Hyatt. I have to say their prices are on the higher side for contemporary American comfort food, but I think their food was really delicious. I ordered the fish tacos. Of course, the portions were really tiny as I received two small fish tacos. However, they were quite delicious, packed with lots of southwestern flavors. The only downside is that after the two fish tacos, I was still slightly hungry, but I had only enough time to eat the two tacos.

Bacon to die for: maple pepper cured! Mmmm My parents had the breakfast buffet and raved about it, so this morning we came here! Yum! Two of us ordered the eggs benedict(LOVED) and I had the huevos rancheros;)! It looked like a small plate, but the black beans, eggs, guac, and everything really filled me and I couldn’t finish! Also coffee is excellent! Lastly, service was impeccable! Bruce was super friendly! Pricey but what do you expect at a nice hotel restaurant. it’s DELICIOUS!
