This hotel was not what I needed after a 5 hour traffic filled drive from up North. The Lobby looks like it’s been redone which is great, however there is this really odd smell that is overwhelming, I speculate it’s from the pool that is nearby the check in desk. Room was a very average courtyard, biggest complaint is the bathroom. The hot water was in and out at 7am and there was no blow dryer to be found. However the staff are wonderful. The gal at the bistro went above and beyond to help me with breakfast, even gave me a grande when I paid for a tall latte because she made too much ! Staff great, facility acceptable place to stay on very short business needs.

Reservation was incorrect. Bathroom smelled like a smoker locked themselves in there. Toiletries were pre used. Pretty nasty stay for a Marriott.

Typical Courtyard experience for me… my only complaint is that this seems to be one of the few remaining locations that has yet to get the upgrade. The lobby is new, but the rooms are old and not up to par with other locations. BUT… there was a placard sitting on the desk in my room that said the renovations are coming next month, which is good, because otherwise, I would not have stayed again. Instead, I will anxiously await the new look and update my review next time I stay there. BOTTOMLINE: Let’s get movin on those renovations!

I traveled here on business and it was a pretty decent hotel. I’ve stayed here on two separate occasions and on the second occasion, I stayed in a room with a balcony. Not that there was any sort of incredible view(or even a decent view), but it was nice to have the option to go outside, had I so dared. The room with the balcony was slightly bigger than the room without, and a bit nicer as well. Side note: I didn’t request nor pay extra for the balcony room, so if you stay here, make sure you ask for one of those rooms! Located near the interstate, it’s convenient to get around Indianapolis. It’s also located near several restaurants and a Target as well, so there area itself is comfortable. It feels like regular old suburbia. The only downside was that they didn’t offer complimentary breakfast and their«food area»(really just two or three tables shared with the check-in area) wasn’t open too early and it wasn’t open late. After one particularly long work day, my team and I came back to the hotel, marched straight to the food counter, and we all ordered a bowl of soup and a pizza. No joke, this took a little over forty-five minutes to make! And to top it off, our pizza came out before our soup! When I complained(nicely, of course), the lady at the food counter said they had turned off the machines(mind you, this was a bit before 8pm) and even though it was supposed to be open an hour or so later, we had to wait for everything to heat up. Then when the food finally came out, it was so un-edible, we ended up going elsewhere for food. So not what you want after a long day at work! Overall, not a bad place. Extra tip for those of you who read this review– ask the front counter for a hotel evaluation. If you fill one out, you get a bonus 1,000 Marriott member rewards points!
