This is the 3rd time in a year and a half I have been there and each time the service is extremely slow. I understand the time to cook/prepare, but we finally had to walk out after 15 mins of our server not even taking our order. It was 1:30. There were still about 7 tables open so they weren’t swamped. We tried several times to get out waitress’s attention to which she promptly kept on walking. Not even an acknowledgement. If you want a lunch crowd, get more or better wait staff. Even if the food is good, people will not come back for bad service.

This place is great. It is family owned and the food is never less then the best it always comes out so hot and fresh. I always get the steak hoagie. It is a MUST try.

First visit and I see why this place is always busy. Good food. Decent prices. Wide selection. I got the breaded tenderloin which was stellar. Husband got the cheeseburger(standard with American) — when I asked how it was, he said that it tasted like a real meat burger. We will definitely be back!

My crab cakes & onion rings were both very good and I also liked mom’s breaded tenderloin and French fries apparently more than she did. The rest of our group all seemed happy with their choices. Service was a little slow and inattentive and it is a bit pricey for the DG strip center.

Best thing about this place is the fries and the service. Try to get Barb as your server, she rocks! :-)

The food is awesome. Try the Gouda Turkey sandwich. A few craft beers to choose from. So far… never anything negative.

3rd time there, food was not so good. Crab cakes made with imitation crab meat and for that price it should be the real deal. French fries tasted like old grease. We probably won’t be back.

First thing I noticed was a hair in our drink, I should have known then that this place sucks. The waitress we had seemed to not have a clue how to serve not to mention she messed up every single one of our bills. The food was not that great and it took FOREVER even though they were not busy at all. I will definitely not be going back there.

Ok so I keep coming back here… cause one the food is great. The drink specials are awesome and the staff are amazing. I live across the street so I come at least one a week.

How to start, nice building and décor. Greeted promptly, seemed like nice employees. Good craft brew selection on draft, always a good thing! The food — not so good, steak was Luke warm, my «twice baked potato«was cool At best! Mentioned to the waitress was told I ll bring the bill’, Boo! Bad! Not very good, its was 8:00 on a Monday night(Monday Night Football) place was empty, and employees were playing on their phones. Probably a big pass !

This place has great food and good craft beer. Originally from the Murphy’s at 42nd and keystone, they moved here due to construction reasons at the old restaurant. A great addition to Indy’s southside. I enjoy the Reuben sandwich with a cold Guinness on draft :-)

A co-worker and I cashed our checks after work and we decided to get something to eat. We were both craving steaks and some random guy named«Bill» recommended this place. He called it McGuilvery’s so when we pulled up and saw it was Murphy’s we should have known it was a red flag. He carried on about how good the steak was and after all this was«Bill». I could have overlooked the bad service if the steak was good but it was not at all. It was terrible. It looked as if it was pan fried and it was over cooked. We both asked medium rare and we both got well done. It was ruined. How is it that a place that is known for steaks had no idea how to cook one. Two thumbs down!!!

Great people, good beer and food. I sat at the bar for a couple of meals as I was in the same area for a couple days.. Great staff that makes you feel welcome. And the regulars are just as nice, I definitely felt like I was part of the group pretty quickly. Food is good, I had the challenge on the first night. It’s two half pound burgers that were well cooked. Cheese selection is nice, I mean what kind of bar has asiago or gouda? The fries are to die for though. Super crispy. Next night I had the salmon, which was a proportioned cut. Well cooked also, with a but too much of the sweet glaze on it. Also, could have used a little more rice pilaf on the side, but in general pretty good. The beer selection was decent, and they were concerned enough about the Wisconsin fans coming in(it was the week before the final four) that they were trying to finish a tap to make room for the leiny summer shandy. Good attention to customer wants.

Love this place. It’s small, friendly and the food is delicious! Not cheap pub food, but delicious food — from the salmon salad to the crusted tenderloin.

Food very tasty. Good large portions. Great menu. Great bar. Plenty of TV viewing. Quick service fast service for lunch. Barbra was our waitress. Super nice checked on us. If you read my post I am always commenting the restrooms. Very clean. If I was to say any thing that would be a complaint need better ventilation in kitchen. The cooking smell and smoke a little strong. Be prepared for price it is priced for restaurant prices a little higher than pub prices. But saying that the food is very good so not disappointed paying the price. It’s a must try. I was looking for somewhere new to try and was pleased that we tried it. Will be back… Just left the pub and smelled like fried food once again they need to improve ventilation!!!

Good food. Good staff. Nice owner. A welcome addition to the area. Pretty small, but that is probably a good thing.

Good food, atmosphere and aesthetics are lacking. Staff was polite and customer service oriented. It’s a sufficient place to stop in for food. I wish they had more of a sports bar feel later in the evening. This is just a restaurant that carries a variety of drinks.

We love this place! The food is always good, staff is always friendly, service is always quick. We usually sit at the bar and have great conversation with the staff. Their fries, homemade chips, and onion rings are AMAZING. Must try this place!

Giving the Pubhouse high ratings for my first visit. Greeted warmly, seated promptly, and served courteously. Good selections on the menu — local pub fare plus some surprising entrées and appetizers. We chose the fish and chips, which was lightly hand battered and NOT frozen & «the challenge» burger, which was cooked perfectly medium rare. Nice assortment of beers on tap and lots of TVs so you don’t miss any sports games. Think we’ll sit at the bar next time. Nice to have a neighborhood friendly non– chain restaurant.
